    A lovely video to watch, not only do I love the crown its self but the George and the dragon is one or if not my favourite design's on a coins reverse!
    I never thought to compare the festival of Britain crowns reverse to see the main wear points of an earlier/925 one so great idea!

    So many Morgans were never put into circulation and hence are readily available today in MS condition. Whereas Victoria crowns were used and are hard to get uncirculated. I was lucky to get an 1887 Jubilee crown in MS as they no doubt were set aside as keepsakes. Your 1893 is a beauty.

      They're actually called Crowns, but yes they do feature the same design as the Sovereigns. When I gave you this link I actually watched the video and I must say I'm shocked at much they have gone since that video. Those £15 grade Crowns are now £28 and that one I paid £35 for would probably cost me £80 today.

      +CyberCurtainTwitcher I saw your slide on Silver Slackers channel, Googled you and ended up here. I will contact Mr. V, but I also subscribed to you, once I got the jist of the service/education you provide. It's a shame there are so many fakes out there, it's even worse that so many of them are getting to be really good fakes. Are most of the fakes you're seeing Chinese made? Seems like they counterfeit damn near anything of value and as prices rise again (and they will), they are sure to kick into high gear cranking out even more.

    • @CyberCurtainTwitcher
      @CyberCurtainTwitcher  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Briansammo Yeah, most of them seem to be from China, but very few have been that good to be honest, it's just buyers not really paying attention to what they are buying. Frequently the fakes have such a shit finish or do not have the face value on them, they are easily identifiable, but buyers just see the price! I just received a very interesting fake in the mail today which doesn't sound very profitable for the fakers. More about that in an upcoming video.

    • @CyberCurtainTwitcher
