Joey & Christian, Our speakers were delivered December 5th from you guys and got them setup & connect that following weekend. A lot of anticipation building up to fire them up and hoping we made the right choice on this purchase listening at you store. I have a Mark Levison 585 with Apple 4K TV streamer and (we stream all of our music) and this is from You Tube Premium commercial free and here is my opinion what we heard. I played starting out what I thought were my most well recorded music videos that we have listened to over time and I was quite blown away on the clarity, separation and sound stage that these Fyne 502 SP delivered. The instrument separation is quite remarkable where I could hear things I have never heard with my other speakers. I love cranking it up on the right recorded songs and they are amazing in my own opinion. I also found that these speakers have such a clarity that low/medium level listening is also (so) enjoyable. I then went to other songs that my other speakers had a hard time reproducing or playing mainly because of the mediocre recording and found that these Fyne actually improved a lot of those songs. We are now just starting to get them broken in and they just keep getting better. This was my final journey on finding my last speaker purchase and these have ended my journey. You guys where wonderful to deal with and down to earth friendly and nothing about high pressure to sell something. I always say support your local audio dealers... The Allen's
What an amazing outcome. The photos of your setup looked amazing, but the video you sent us really blew us away. Definitely the best story of the year considering you guys showed up on the grand reopening without even knowing about it. Comments like this really help people understand what we heard from these speakers when we first heard them. Anytime you guys are visiting town come see us. You are two are a delight.
Joey...nice vid.I suspect you're working out since you're looking healthy and leaner. Good job. I'm checking out a pair of Fyne 500SP locally, a speaker which seems to have its lovers and haters. I'll see how they work out in my room. Keep up the great work.
Thanks! Yeah the 500SP’s are probably polarizing because some are looking for a full range speakers thinking they will provide that and they are not. 501’s and 502’s are the real deal for full range.
I was always interested in Fynes. Having trouble figuring out ballpark prices for the line, I know distributor agreements prohibit published prices. But ballpark on this 502SP would be nice. Is it closer to Elicit priced, or Aethos priced for a pair?
@@Dreamonoids I have thought about replacing them as my amplification and front ends have improved, but nothing else, except for another classic speaker has ever tempted me to part with my cash. I did so for a pair of mint TDL Studio 1 Mk 2's with stands. They now live in my man cave while the DC's continue to grace the living room.
Great overview and beautiful speakers! Do you think these would play well in a room 15ft x 9ft or would the 501SP be better? Would there be synergy with Class D amplification? Currently have Tannoy XT6F's with ADI2 dac and XTZ Edge A400 amp which does sound the nutz...but maybe the Fynes would sound nutzier! XD
If you love Tannoy you’ll love Fyne as they have the same creators. I think the 501SP would do “Fyne” but the 502SP has been our biggest surprise thus far. Maybe a local dealer can give you a demo?
The 501SP would be a very nice speaker for your system, the 502SP would be a sure footed upgrade from your nice Tannoys as the drivers are larger. That said if the 502SP’s are a stretch the 501SP’s with their upgrades with the 700 drivers and cross overs and bottom base should be amazing as well.
@@joeylopezphd Cheers Joey! I have to say I'm very tempted with the 502sp's...I just need the right mental justification to drop the money. What about spending it before it inflates away to nothing...surely hard assets like speakers are good to have? And at least I'll be able to admire the beautiful craftsmanship and the gorgeous walnut veneer when the energy grid goes down! 🙈
Do the 702 have any advantages over these? I heard these but they didn’t have enough resolution for me. Will I find that extra resolution with the 702 or do I need to jump to the f18?
That we are not sure of as we choose to sell these over the 702’s and recommend jumping up to the 703/4 with the 75mm tweeter over the 25mm in the 702’s. What associated electronics were paired with the 502’s? They are very resolving with our electronics and I have even paired them with our Crimson Electronics and a P10 with Apheta 2 and they just got that much better.
@@joeylopezphd classe delta pre and stereo. I auditioned the f18 and it was not as smooth and less tonally appealing although the resolution and imaging was much better
Great speakers. Have you listen to f500sp, how they compare to other bookshelfs in this price range. Do they sound bright, neutral, slightly on the warm side...which amp would pair well with them. Tnx
@@LegendMythicRider Can you kindly describe the difference you noticed? Are there anything you miss on the XT8f that you wish the 502s have? Thank you!
It is hard because I sold the Tannoy first to acquire the Fyne so I could not compare directly. But the 502SP are one step further in any way also in the bass. Not the same league. Price apart (I mean, it is double the price at least), the size and weight of the Fyne are also much more. Better for bigger room.
I also upgraded the amplifier in the meantime with Accuphase e470. So now , I am sure I am not limited by power. I got all second hand, makes so much more sense. I can now upgrade the speaker again with that amplifier 😀 The infinity circle

I have Fyne F502SP with Aethos, Aria MK3 and P8/Apheta 2 and for me this is combo made in heaven.
That’s an amazing setup. Heaven is the correct word.

What a fantastic review my friend, amazing!!!

4000 to 4400 pounds in UK depending on finish
Just get the Tannoy xt6/8f’s that these are based on. They sound sublime!
These run about 6k now. They sound great with both the elicit and Aethos.
@@rbon9414no, see my other comment in the thread . I had the XTF8 and those Fyne are better on the whole spectrum.
I think I have owned a pair of the prototypes for 30 years, Tannoy DC3000's. I'm curious as to how time may have matured and improved them :).
Classic Tannoy is the best.

Is it sufficient to only have 30cm to the back wall using this speakers?
We’ve had customers setup with about the same as 30cm from the wall, and have fantastic results.
Hello i have f303 and the feeling is the same, amazing sound clarity, also i dont want stop hear music,at high volume keep hi fi
Awesome. Glad to hear.
Hello, do you think you can use this in a 12*11*9 listening room, thanks
You can, it will load the room very nicely. It can be used in much larger spaces as well. The 501SP would be fine as well in that size of space.
Exactly as Joey stated, would a great fit.
I'm really curious what's on his left

Haven’t heard the F500sp, but the F500s were pretty neutral and I feel a Brio is a great match or Elex MK4.
I'm considering these speakers as well as the Canton Vento 100s. Do you happen to know how these speakers compare?
We have not heard the Cantons unfortunately.
And in comparison to the Tannoy Revolution 8xt, how do they perform?
Never heard the Tannoy Revolution 8ft unfortunately.
I upgraded from XT 8 to the Fyne 502sp (got them second hand) , this is a great one step up. No regret at all. Totally worth it.

Hey Joey, do you still have that GX? Lifted it yet :)?
Sold it and got a 2019 GX460. I miss it though. I am going to switch gears though and probably get a 911 next.
That’s hilarious you know that car.
Fyne are really fine speakers 🎉❤
👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Joey . Have you tried the 500 Sp from fyne audio
Not yet, just the 502s.
How does this model compare to Klipsch Forte IVs?
We wouldn’t compare them. Very different approaches, and sounds. Best to hear them both for yourself.
@@Dreamonoids I will listen to the 703 tomorrow thanks!
If you use Fyne Audio speakers with Schiit Audio, you end up with Average Audio
