It is a realistic message because it is less realistic to expect someone with no personality and a six pack to be memorable, that just doesn't make any sense. Also just because you have the memory of a Turkey does not mean that the people you have encountered are not memorable it just means that you don't have the capacity to remember them. It could also be argued that this makes you incapable of remembering good people because you focus on wether or not they have a six pack or a loud personality. And finally you have failed to consider that people with "memorable" personalities may have issues like anxiety and are incapable of talking to people because they fear rejection, which would mean that you are simply PERCEIVING them as the kind who aren't memorable when in actually they are great people with amazing standards and a "memorable" personality.

The way a lot of celeberaties these days do a LOT more than just work out. They have to follow a strict diet and exercise all the time.
It's not just about people being lazy, celebs devote a lot of time and money to looking this way because it's their job. Normal, everyday people just can't do that.

Dating RealityCheck Actually in real life women are not as shallow as everybody thinks. Look at Ned, he's married to the love of his life and Keith is engaged! Of course I know there are horribly shallow and gold digger girls but these are genuine, normal guys and they don't need to look like celebrities to be loved and appreciated. I know that everybody has this hundred year old idea about how a man has to look like to be masculine, but a lot of people actually don't give a damn about that. In Korean culture there's a lot of pressure about looks. In our culture there are several body types that can be seen as beautiful or hot. In fact, Korean girls will get plastic surgery because only one type of face is considered pretty. Koreans can be very critical of people's looks. Btw, I'm also Korean.
He was in growing up constantly bullied because no one else was Korean or even Asian where he grew up. Being bullied always hurts but being bullied for your race feels SO awful because there's no way you can change your race.

Watching this years later on my own fitness journey I realize, most of these bodies are cheated or conventionally unobtainable. They either photoshop their bodies, take sarms/roids/test replacement or revolve their entire life around fitness and nutrition, leaving a small minority who are genetically gifted and can put minimal effort but gain max results.
That being said, there should be no excuses for letting your health go.

Honestly, I am so glad that Eugene is sharing his body image issues because I'm also suffering from image issues. It's so beautiful to know that I'm not the only one here with mental problems and body problems. I want to look like a model and dress nicely, but I don't want to be feminine, and in this world, there are little ways to do that. I struggle every day with not being happy with my clothing and my body and my style. Honestly, its been getting dark again and learning about Eugene has been saving me recently. Thank all of you for this video talking about what so many of us struggle with.

I have issues with myself that working out and being healthy won't be able to fix, and neither will photoshop. I feel like what Eugene highlighted regarding how it is legitimately the JOB of celebrities to maintain a physique is often under acknowledged. They have the fortune of both the obvious monetary resources, but above all the time, time to train their bodies extensively and to cook and eat optimized nutrition. Needing to pay bills as an average person often doesn'tallow space for all that and its something we often forget.

Especially on videos like this. This whole video was centered on appearance. I happen to think they're all equally good looking men and their personalities make them more attractive. Sure, there's things I don't like(like Zach is too hairy for my taste, Keith's head is a little too narrow and long, I don't really like Ned's haircut in this video, and it'll probably sound "racist" to someone, but I don't especially like Eugene's eyes.), but I think they are all great in their own ways. The Try Guys are my favorite buzzfeed people, by far.

I love that Ned is very body positive, maybe not in the way that he feels really strong but that he thinks he looks good. It's really important that we focus on our health and not just the way we look.
