exactly .... nothing wrong with the stockers except they plastic.... and you have to tighten the clamp screw wheel .... like she did with the hex... LOL Duh!!
I agree the tiedowns that you are installing are great looking but they’re not adjustable like the Tacoma OEM tiedown and the reason they’re shaking around is because you haven’t screwed them in to tighten them
Nice video. I thought about buying these but I disagree about the stock cleats. One the original is not cheap. I had a ton of luggage and used cargo nets. The original have areas you can hook the cargo net on. That kept my luggage safe and sturdy over 2000 miles. Yes these look great but in the end I couldn’t justify 250$ when the others lock tight and have more connections options. They do look great through. Love your channel and content, keep posting.
Did you put 2 on each side? In other words did you buy a pair of them to replace your 4 plastic ones? I bought just a pair for the rails and a pair for the front. Haven't dug deep enough to get another pair for the rails! Too many other mods to go!!
If someone wants this , that’s their own choice. But don’t justify it by falsely badmouthing the factory timid down. If you’re going to need heavy duty go with factory tie downs that are on the bed floor. Don’t damage your rails
if you install and tighten the stock clamp correctly it wont move around like that.

she does not know what she is doing

I installed these and i love them. Excellent quality.
Stock plastic are more practical, loosen and slide to the position you want. The nicer ones don't seem to be that easy to move without tools.

Just wanted to clarify these are not $250. The Bed Tie-Downs are $89/pair and the Rail Tie-Downs are $129/pair. That also includes free shipping.
Good looking and practical mode. Puppy wants to help. Cool you love trick your yourself.
Thanks so much I needed to know how to get the endcap off and I couldn’t figure it out. You showed me you’re the best.
It's never crossed my mind to replace these, but nice to know there are options out there.
so you need the tool to move them ?
the stock ones tighten up and move without a tool
Yes, that's the only downside. Once they're tightened they're locked into place
You do need a hex wrench to move them. The upside is they won’t get stolen!
@@ntaphse mine are hidden inside my retrax
how much can the rails themself even allow for strapping or ratchet straps?
Idk what happened to you. But I just bought a new 2023 tacoma trd pro. And I find your channel very helpful
Is their another link to buy these?? The one you posted dosent work anymore 😢
Not sure what happened there but thanks for letting me know! This link should work billettiedowns.com/bed-tie-down-anchors/

Great video I just got a 22 trd sport and you're right the oem tie downs are junk definitely gonna look into these
They make them for the ones in the bed also
Thank you.

she only drives her tacoma to work or grocery
It’s a cool and unique way to stand out
Very nice, great idea.
They don’t seem very practical, the stocks you can move around easily
I have them on mine. Very nice
Super nice!
yeah, nice... I bet u only drive ur pick up to work or grocery store
@@Ja_youtube_Ja lol
I see no advantage of upgrading the tie down thing u r showing. R u really driving a pick up?
Oh hell yeah! Now I HAVE to get them. Thanks!!!
Lol you're welcome!😂
