Can we just appreciate that Anderson is so badass that the laws of physics bend to his will? He stabbed Seras several times before he was even in a position to physically do that.

There's a theory going around that one of the authors Manga's is a backstory to Father anderson and how he became who he is now.

Man after watching the abridged Version so many times I've forgotten how awesome and bad-ass the fights in this anime are.... This one especially!

IDK, after abridged this all seems bland without all those dialogues and one-liners.
I worked with Anderson back in 2018,the guy woke us up at 4am and made us recite the verses, man those days

Anime logic at work. There's a guy from Getbackers who surgically implanted hundreds of scalpels throughout his body and can psychically control them, pulling them out of his body at will. And yet he is still able to move. Like try and imagine something pen sized in a scrawny body and multiply it by the hundreds. It's insanely impossible, but damn is it cool.
Who does Integra tell that exposition about Iscariot to? I'm pretty sure the higher-ups at Hellsing know about it.

Excellent video! But I have one question. If both Alexander and Alucard fight against vampires, then why don't they just join forces instead of fighting each other all the time?! I don't understand this at all even that I watched many of The Hellsing episodes.

Hearing Alexander Anderson without a high-pitched Irish accent is really weird
And for some reason the low pitched voice makes him sound creepy and cool
He sounds like Kahn from Star Trek.

I think the audio was edited for copyright detection reasons but even still anderson’s voice sounds too deep
nope, i legit cant get myself to watch tfs dubs, never have never will, always prefer the original to goofy dubs in their case.

Subtle things to note about Gods biggest Unit, Alexander Anderson.
Dude is so big, his voice is preternaturally deep. Even then, while Alucard steps lightly but surely, Anderson makes the floorboards creak and groan under his weight.
His bayonets are heavy enough that they can be dropped, bounce on the pommel, and then successfully lodge into the same hard worn wooden floorboards. And sink in, suggesting a genuinely immense weight to them. Despite their weight, and his size, he can sprint fast enough to catch Alucard, during which the Casul, a handgun powerful enough to blow holes in people, can't even shift him.
When he throws eight bayonets downrange, underarm no less, he's throwing so much mass with so much force that the cavitation behind them shatters windows (addendum: each arm is exerting roughly 1389 Kilograms-Force). He's then able to catch up to them, and his momentum carries both himself and a superhuman vampire at least ten meters through the air, into a wall.
If he didn't earn the moniker "Paladin" for his strong moral compass and devotion to duty, he earned it by fighting with the strength of a god.

I think it’s interesting that neither of them actually tried to “REALLY” kill the other
More rivals than enemies
Anderson here definitely went for the kill. He simply didn't expect that his usual methods wouldn't work. While Alucard usually lets his enemies rip him to shreds before destroying them, this time he was surprised too. Because when a guy rises up after being shot in the head with a gigantic blessed bullet, it means that you ran into something very unusual.
So, yeah, here, they both wanted to kill each other, as neither Anderson viewed Alucard as something more than a usual vampire, nor Alucard thought highly of the Paladin. The rivalry formed later, imo.

They did went for the kill, just that they underestimate the situation and each other.
So that's why Alucard shot Anderson right in the eye and was suprised he still lived.
Idk but with the deepen pitch of voices, kinda makes them sound intimidating imo

Did they re do this scene? I remember it being different. I remember when Anderson told Alucard “ I purify this house so filthy creatures can’t use their cheap black magic” the character detail and animation for this version is on point though

I really wish Anderson could have gotten his own spinoff anime series, he’s just too good a character to have been killed off the way he was in Hellsing, So much more could have been done with him and his back story.

It is that initial part where he shows up and introduces himself, that is friggen cool. What I didn't like about Father Anderson is his psychotic
tendencies. A bit too much of a loose cannon. I guess it fits the character to a T but still haha!
Alucard as always is an interesting character in this, sworn to the family and acting as their protector...sort of against his will. :P
I know probably that it's cool that Alucard and Alexander fight, but they should really unite!
