Lots of gold for the small sample size! The Quesnel area has lots of flour gold... perfect for some enterprising individuals with good equipment! Thanks for sharing!
@@CaribooGOLDHunter That's what they are designed for! I've only found one tiny nugget on the river about 2 meters up on the false clay bedrock, the rest is all flour but there is loads of it. There are many claims where you can get a renewing easy ounce or two every year. If you ever want a VDR mat send us an email and we will give you a good price. Thanks for the vid, look forward to more! P.S. Been prospecting around Likely and Quesnel for about 10 seasons now so if you want a few ideas that may save you time and money I'd be happy to give you some. I also did a video about gold claims and mines in the area that may help narrow down some good spots for you. Take care!
@@InfinityProspecting Amazing yes thank you so much for offering me a great price that’s excellent, will definitely email you to get a VDR mat, money is tight just gotta save some extra $$$ and then I’ll purchase one for sure. I will check out those videos thank you so much for reaching out watching and commenting and thank you for the tips truly appreciate it. Perhaps we could meet up in the spring at some point when the snow disappears and do some prospecting together. Thanks again ✨⛏😎
@@CaribooGOLDHunter You're welcome. I think it would be really entertaining to have some highbanking / prospecting competitions one day. Once you have decent knowledge, equipment, and claims this hobby becomes A LOT more fun. We look forward to future collaborations, CGH! Take care!

Heya Prospector Dean here from the states, I just found your channel..like your videos and your filming to make them! I have done quite a bit of research on BC gold prospecting and look forward to getting up there some summer soon..in the meantime, keep posting and I will keep watching!
Thanks boys. Nothing too fabulous but only had time for one bucket of paydirt and the result wasn’t too bad. If I were to spend the day there get 50 buckets and run it, would probably be a great result for sure ✨✨✨⛏
Greetings from Nova Scotia, Canada...you know, the OTHER coast...lol Ive been prospecting for 10 years in NS, ON, NF, NB, PEI, and Alberta. Ive watched and drooled over every episode of D'arcy Cooper Boilerbox Mining, D'arcy is from the same area as your prospecting. I just found ya, so I hope ya show us LOTS of that candy, oh yeah Pioneer Pauly is out there somewhere...lol I subbed and rung the bell, Great Luck to ya !!!
Thanks so much I’m stoked to see some east coasters enjoying the video. Yeah Darcy Cooper is a legend out here I’ve definitely grown up watching all his TH-cam videos I just wish he still made them cause they’re amazing and he’s extremely knowledgeable. Pauly lives on the island which is quite a long ways from where I am. But still west coasters 😎 Thanks so much for the sub and for watching I truly appreciate it. Heavy pans eh ✨⛏
@@CaribooGOLDHunter You should try and hook up with Pauly sometime, He's a riot, Him and Dan Hurd like to help new youtubers, they could help to beef up subs and help you find some great gold, Im sure you could talk one of them into coming up to you...lol
Have you had personal luck with digging high up on the plateaus along the Quesnel River? I just picked this claim up in the Summer so it’s all new to me but any advice is always appreciated. Thanks
that is true the biggest gold will be found in the old river channels away from the river try testing 20 feet from the river than 30 than 40 and so on and go deeper each time if you find river gravels at those distances chances are there will be untouched gold the old timers didnt think to mine away from the river because they were finding nuggets already at the rivers edge especially if that is the fraser it would of been picked clean and mostly flood gold will be there if you put in the work you can benefit huge i live in the lower mainland and i done tons of research on geology and topography of many creeks near my home and there is no claims of history of gold on any of them which they would contain at least some gold i have a few i am going to test next week to see if they are gold bearing hopefull the snow melts by then
@@pnutbuttajelly1049 This particular claim is on the Quesnel River which was mined heavily back in the day but I will definitely be spending more time on this claim come spring. Unfortunately I got this claim late in Summer and only had a short window to test so this coming season I will be hitting it hard and taking in all the advice I’ve gained from yourself and others. Thank you 🙏🏼
I notice you do not use a metal detector. I see a lot of gold found with them on other videos. Would it not make finding deposits easier??? Are they illegal in BC?
Metal detectors aren’t illegal in BC as long as you’re using them on your claim and not in a public panning reserve. I’ll purchase one soon enough but unfortunately it’s just not in my budget at the moment. Thanks for watching truly appreciate it ✨⛏
I would love to work with you. If we can exchange contact info, I can explain better. You missed the pockets. The gold on your claim is unreal. Took me 3 years to figure it out. The Quesnel is a savage beast. Let me know :)
I know the feeling of finding random bones haha, something about being out and about in nature that makes you think you are finding human remains all the time hahaha. Boy do i ever miss digging at the river
No doubt hey definitely something about being in the middle of nowhere and finding bones, the kind automatically thinks the worst case scenario Haha. Thanks so much for watching ✨⛏🙏🏼
It’s called prospecting, if gold was that easy to find everyone would be doing it 😉 Sometimes you hit it sometimes you don’t, I’m not one to sugar coat the hobby of prospecting most of the time this is the reality of prospecting coming up short. Gotta keep going though to find deposits.
