@SECRET CREEK PROSPECTING I’m doing great 😎 weather where I live up North is currently -42 🥶 As soon as snow melt starts I’ll be back out prospecting and posting my adventures ✨⛏
@SECRET CREEK PROSPECTING You’ll be prospecting in no time y’all are lucky to have no snow, it’ll be a few months before I’m able to get back out prospecting ✨⛏
That creeks gold always surprises me, it looks like it’s flowing 100mph lol. 1/4 gram day is excellent panning, if I can get that out of a cubic yard I’m stoked!
Tranquille River is such an amazing public panning reserve it still holds some amazing gold for sure. The river was definitely moving pretty quick wasn’t a lot of ground to work cause the river was still pretty high, but at the time none of my claims up North were workable so Tranquille was a good trade off 😎✨⛏ Thanks so much for watching truly appreciate it.
Thanks so much glad you enjoyed it. Multiple feet of snow on the ground where I am from I’ve got a few more videos to release but after that I’ll have to wait till spring when the snowpack melts 😎 Thanks for watching and commenting✨⛏
@@CaribooGOLDHunter that'll slow you down for sure. I am from michigan. It's for the most part glacial till and floor gold. Black sand from the beaches of lake superior has a little floor gold to. Not the best gold hunting here
Thanks for the sub dude! Hell yeah I recommend Tranquille Panning reserve should be on everyone’s bucket list 100% it’s the BEST panning reserve in BC you’re gonna love it there! Heavy pans! ✨⛏
a little tip for you brother...bounce dryer sheets are your best friend when it comes to mosquito's...trust me i live in south central alaska..land of a gazillion lakes and well we got some skeets and i learned from alaskan indigenous peoples that bounce dryer sheets repel mosquio's...rub em all over your clothes and back of your hands and light rub on your neck and hair and they will pretty much leave you alone...not 100% but i would give it about an 80%..love British Columbia..reminds me allot of here in south central alaska...
That’s too funny I actually heard from an indigenous gentleman the other day he mentioned bounce dryer sheets as well! Thanks for the tip, Alaska is definitely on my bucket list ✨⛏
Hmmmm. Nice adventure being had. Just a friendly pointer to all ... always remember to " wash everything into your bucket" so all the possible gold makes it into your pan. Classifying into a pail is a good time saver, but one must remember to wash the gravel before nugget-scanning and discard or a good portion of a day's gold could easily be missed. Cheers!
Yeah water was high but up north it was flooding everywhere so really the only place I could prospect was Tranquille when I came up to visit my family. My claims up North weren’t workable till September due to such a huge snowpack from winter.
New subscriber. Hey just to let you know I’m enjoying your videos, but would really like to watch them without that annoying music. I think it takes away from the tranquil river experience. I know it’s just my opinion, but you should try more of the natural sounds of being on the river, I think people would enjoy that even more. Cheers from someone else that lives up in northern BC. :)
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment, everyone has their own preference with music, but I'm definitely not opposed to trying out a video with just natural sounds of the surroundings might be kinda cool. Always good to have another Northerner following the channel :)
@@CaribooGOLDHunter hey thanks for the reply, and to be clear It’s not that I’m opposed to music in a video (I use it myself) but when it overpowers the the visuals it takes away from the peaceful river experience. Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of your videos! And Cheers to supporting your local breweries! :)

How long did it take you to pan all that out?
@@canuckcrazed007 was only panning a couple hours if that. Mosquitos were so bad I was getting eaten alive had to call it quits early.

"There's gold under every rock in Tranquille". I really enjoy that area.
So true hey! It’s an amazing panning reserve. I’ve got a claim on the Tranquille River will have to invite ya out next Summer ✨⛏

Quite beneficial. You demonstrated what was legal in BC as far as digging in a river bank.
Thanks for watching 😎✨⛏

Thats nice gold Mike ! I have the same screens, I have a set of 5, they start at 1/4'' and go down to 20 mesh. Great tools !
Yeah can’t beat the Garrett panning equipment 👍🏼

Where is the Batea, kinda heavy for long hikes on back country.
Didn't have the Batea with me on this trip, this was early in the Summer was a last minute trip. Thanks so much for watching Kirk.

Ya should’ve sluiced like I always do!!
Can’t sluice at all where I’m from it’s illegal unfortunately
Hi!
Howdy thanks for stopping by ✨⛏😎
Not much to get for such hard work. Where are are nuggets.
If I knew where the nuggets were I’d be a rich man Harvey 😂 but for now I’ll have to stick to the hard work ✨⛏😎
The old timers didn't get it all that's a misconception
Of course there’s some flood gold that still remains but finding any “nuggets” is pretty rare on that river (in the public panning reserve)
