Thst came just in time because for this valentines I have made a love blessing for CATS IN PET SHELTER to find their match and be ready and prepared for meeting their future guardians sooner than later! I have crafted a cat toy wand, needle felted it with intention, crocheted the little twine to connect the toy to the wand and blessed it as well for high quality play, to be fun both for tue cats an who ever holds the cat wand. I learned that love spells don’t have to be promiscuous, they are actually pretty versatile for any needed love! Your videos are as beautiful as always! when I just tended the shelter to donate this two lovely cat toys, I got to spend time with 4 lovely cats. A 6 month old black small black cat with wide bright green like a beautiful avocado green eyes, slik body movements- like a prince/ss, was enjoying the play so much, very calm but very enriched, ended the play with a lovely munch on her dry food. a bigger cat with tabby grey with a coat that is bright and almost had a bright green tint in the sun, and apple green eyes, had such a perfect temperament, very loving, respectful and appreciative, I immediately connected with and thanked for meeting, was such a lovely friend to meet. a 6 month old small yellowish grey tabby coated cat, with sky yellow eyes, very respectful, played with me for few play sessions, and napped comfortably after a very big green tinted grey tabby, very mellow, was sitting on the highest shelf, enjoying in cold-ish day sun, was enriched, yet completely relaxed, was giving me slow blinks and napped 20% loafing, looked like a very wise cat thank knows a lot and knows how to appreciate a calm sunny Saturday. those cats will be such good house cats and I am them to find their family that waits for them and is on their way to meet them soon!

Thankfully I ended up with a happy healthy baby, so it was a small price to pay in the long run. Especially since I wanted to have more children, but had 3 very early miscarriages. Firstly, I love your videos and your take on the craft. Second, I admit I've used the excuse of not wanting to interfere with free will, but not because I felt I was that powerful. It was to avoid saying hard and honest truths: How long have you known this person, and they still won't date you? Face it, they're just not THAT into you. That's probably a blessing somehow. Take it as such, live a happy life, and move on. - OR - You know, that's just like stalker behavior. That's not healthy for anyone involved. Please reconsider your choices. Get help. So why wouldn't I be honest? Because the only people who asked me for love spells were co-workers! I am not delving into those topics with people I had to maintain a professional demeanor. What I would do is cast energy in their direction to love and accept themselves instead of pine for another that wasn't reciprocating their affection (and if the stalker thing was really happening, report it as well). I will not be celebrating valentines this year, instead I'm deciding to celebrate Lupercalia! I will not be sticking to old traditions though, they can be kinda brutal. Overall, this video gave me A LOT of inspiration.
I wouldn't call the concept of love languages "psychology." "Pop psychology," perhaps, but not psychology. This is the danger I see a lot of skeptical/secular/atheist/etc. witches fall into, that anyone with a cool sounding idea who claims connection to a science is therefore backed by science. But many of these are fringe, if connected at all. "Love languages" are not supported by peer review, or backed by years of experience as a functional practice in therapeutic practice. Searching for "love languages" only pulls up Chapman's (Christian and very heteronormative) book, but no scholarly articles. That said, there's nothing wrong with using fringe ideas and theories in our practice, so long as we're aware that's what they are. After all, so much of many peoples' practices use non-scientific tools and rituals to evoke the placebo effect, self-affirmation, and the like, and it's those effects that have evidence to back them. Though Jung has no place in contemporary psychological science, witches draw on his ideas for "shadow work," whose manifested practices (self-talk and journaling) have extensive academic support. If thinking in terms of love languages helps with relationships, then by all means continue! But let's be careful not to call it psychology, giving it too much power and pigeon-holeing the ways we might more naturally change our "love" expressions based on context, not to mention how it waters down the rigorous work that psychological researchers and clinical therapists are actually doing to better understand how average (or not so average!) people behave, think, learn, understand, and change, both physically and mentally. And when we find someone promoting something as psychology (and therefore science), let's use our skepticism to check for ourselves how true the claim is or how well it applies to however many people. As an actual clinical psychologist by trade I absolutely agree ❤️😄 love languages are not a psychological concept - and I never said that in the video either. I just stated that I do like to combine psychological concepts with the idea of magick 😉 and with that I ment delving into a self-discovery journey about your inner workings, styles of communication or even attachment style that can hugely play into how you form relationships. But as the fast majority of my viewers probably don't have a psych degree I prefer to water it down so everybody can more or less understand the essence of what I mean by that and apply it in an easy everyday fashion hihi and as much as ideas from pseudo / pop-psychology gets hated on, it does help people navigate some everyday issues 💞 so happy you enjoyed the video and thank you for the comment!

It is defined as the way you use positive words and uplifting energy to influence people's mood in a positive fashion. Basically it is a fancy word for saying 'being nice to others with the outcome that it lifts their spirits' - Personally I am a biiig believer of this and think the world would be a better place if more people would do it

So why wouldn't I be honest? Because the only people who asked me for love spells were co-workers! I am not delving into those topics with people I had to maintain a professional demeanor.
What I would do is cast energy in their direction to love and accept themselves instead of pine for another that wasn't reciprocating their affection (and if the stalker thing was really happening, report it as well).
I have been wanting to share that for years! Whew. Now, to make those chocolates...

I wouldn't call the concept of love languages "psychology." "Pop psychology," perhaps, but not psychology.
This is the danger I see a lot of skeptical/secular/atheist/etc. witches fall into, that anyone with a cool sounding idea who claims connection to a science is therefore backed by science. But many of these are fringe, if connected at all. "Love languages" are not supported by peer review, or backed by years of experience as a functional practice in therapeutic practice. Searching for "love languages" only pulls up Chapman's (Christian and very heteronormative) book, but no scholarly articles.
That said, there's nothing wrong with using fringe ideas and theories in our practice, so long as we're aware that's what they are. After all, so much of many peoples' practices use non-scientific tools and rituals to evoke the placebo effect, self-affirmation, and the like, and it's those effects that have evidence to back them. Though Jung has no place in contemporary psychological science, witches draw on his ideas for "shadow work," whose manifested practices (self-talk and journaling) have extensive academic support.
If thinking in terms of love languages helps with relationships, then by all means continue! But let's be careful not to call it psychology, giving it too much power and pigeon-holeing the ways we might more naturally change our "love" expressions based on context, not to mention how it waters down the rigorous work that psychological researchers and clinical therapists are actually doing to better understand how average (or not so average!) people behave, think, learn, understand, and change, both physically and mentally. And when we find someone promoting something as psychology (and therefore science), let's use our skepticism to check for ourselves how true the claim is or how well it applies to however many people.

As an actual clinical psychologist by trade I absolutely agree ❤️😄 love languages are not a psychological concept - and I never said that in the video either. I just stated that I do like to combine psychological concepts with the idea of magick 😉 and with that I ment delving into a self-discovery journey about your inner workings, styles of communication or even attachment style that can hugely play into how you form relationships. But as the fast majority of my viewers probably don't have a psych degree I prefer to water it down so everybody can more or less understand the essence of what I mean by that and apply it in an easy everyday fashion hihi and as much as ideas from pseudo / pop-psychology gets hated on, it does help people navigate some everyday issues 💞 so happy you enjoyed the video and thank you for the comment!

I have never seen a sales person apply it 😄 while there are many methods of sales tactics in business psychology that also use manipulation, positive manipulation is not necessarily one of the. It is defined as the way you use positive words and uplifting energy to influence people's mood in a positive fashion. Basically it is a fancy word for saying 'being nice to others with the outcome that it lifts their spirits' - Personally I am a biiig believer of this and think the world would be a better place if more people would do it
