A lot of people are not sure about healthcare in China, hopefully this answers some questions.

Amazing, there are thousands and thousands (public and private) of hospitals in China. Potentially, there could be a lot of brilliant and skilful doctors performing difficult operations and surgeries never carried out in most countries. They do not trumpet their skills and efficiencies to the outside world and appear more like quiet achievers serving their own huge population with dedication just like their country itself pounding ahead quietly to improve its citizens' living standards in the face of negative comments from the Western media attempting to cripple its capabilities.

A few months ago we had an active shooter inside the hospital and two nurses were murdered. American hospitals are saturated with security officers, police officers, and deputies at all times. The main reasons are homeless people, criminals being escorted by police while getting injuries checked up, prisoners from prison using civilian hospitals, drug overdose escorted by cops at times for reports, assault victims reports, sexual assault investigating nurses having police officers at times while doing interviews, and most common issues are mentally ill people inside hospitals hence so many security officers and police. Every hospital in Texas has 2 to 3 security guards at the ER entrance, designated armed police officers on patrol inside and outside of the hospital along with city police and county deputies always in or around the hospitals. In many hospitals, there are jail cells built inside for inmates to be secured after their checkups by deputies. Look up shootings inside hospitals in America when you get bored! It's appalling. Also, hospitals have homeless people hanging outside of the buildings and parking lots looking for a way to get inside when it gets too hot or cold. It's crazy here! No BS.

Well you can't ask them as both dead, I just tell you the truth. Don't get sick if are there on a visit as you'll get a big shock when you get the bill as no free health care Like England or Europe. Have been 4 times and come across the problem with wife and friend so sort yourself out and take a close look. Don't believe a word the government tell as is all fabrication.

This is a tier 2 city hospital, my daughter was taken care there, not bad and very efficient as compared to Singapore where I am living with first class health care.

If you fancy a good laugh, find an American and tell them you booked an MRI (Without insurance?) and it cost you $70.
They'll probably need medical attention for shock?
    .
(OK, I searched on-line.... depending on the type, and location on the body, Anywhere from $500 to $12,000 (TWELVE THOUSAND!!).... and I assume that's per visit)

this hospital is relatively old, originally built in 1941, then expriences mutiple integrations and updates. however, one of the best hospital in kunming city cuz their doctors are professional and great and experienced. although their buildings surely wont be as new and big as those new hospitals which were built in some place not so downtown. personally, it is not my first choice when i got sick or need some medical test.

There are many reasons why China is misunderstood. First, some Western countries, led by the United States, do not like things that are different from them, especially political systems and religious beliefs. They lack tolerance and equality; Second, China's rapid progress has made some countries very uncomfortable. They have lost the sense of superiority and pride that they have long held as the center of the world, generating jealousy and even hatred. Third, most of the major social media and software on the Internet are controlled by Americans. They have long encouraged content that defames China and restricted the dissemination of content that benefits China. So I want to show you a real China. You can also point out what you feel uncomfortable about. As long as it is objective and impartial, we can accept it with an open mind and continuously improve.

It is suggested that foreign friends can come to see Chinese medicine practitioners in China. There is no complicated process in the hospital. Just read the prescription and eat it.

Because the San Francisco ‘s has an awful entrance, and most westerns media like YT is more likely to promote negative messages about China 😅

Why do you still use Western medicine in China? Why not use Chinese medicine entirely? It's so hypocritical. By the way, can you talk about the household registration system in China?
