Was this a happy accident or not?? Let me know…I decided to pour over the original pour because the pearls were a little wonky. And the shadow of it is just a faint shadow underneath. I kinda like it. And I’m glad I did it.
There are other techniques used in this piece too!! Ribbon, swipe and blow out!! Why settle for just one or two!?!? Right?
I used my version of primary colors which are tweaked just a touch. But the blending crested so many color variations.
COLORS
LukasCryl pthalo blue and Amsterdam oxide black
Modern Masters sashay red with Golden quinacridone magenta
Modern masters champagne mixed with Golden bright gold, Golden quinacridone nickel azo gold and TLP Ore
Modern Masters iridescent pearl white
OLD RECIPE
8 oz of Artist Loft Flow Acrylic in White
2 oz of Decoart satin enamels in pure white
12oz of Floetrol
1.5 oz of Liquitex pouring medium
1.5 oz of GAC800
7oz (approximately) of water to I thin added slowly
NEW RECIPE
4oz Apple Barrel White Acrylic
4oz Artist Loft White 20-21 version
2-4oz Behr Deep base untinted (less if want less pearls) I suggest 2 oz of Behr deep when using Decoart satin enamels
8oz Floetrol (American/Canadian version)
1TBSP Liquitex Pouring Medium (grey label)
1TBSP GAC800
1tsp Decoart satin enamels in pure white
1/4 tsp Zinsser Paint Booster
6 oz water Flexible

Hi Sweetheart! I didn't realize this was a "LIVE" Premier video! I would have stopped what I was doing to be there. When I came here now to see it, I saw it was a Premier. Your message didn't say it was, so I knew I would come by to see it, but so sorry sorry to have not been there this afternoon. 😌 Forgive me my friend! 🙏🏻 I love these colors & thought the results turned out very lovely indeed. The shadows were awesome! All of my paints are now boxed up and boxes are all over the place. I don't see myself painting until probably September. Stressed beyond! I hope I remember how. I feel like I will have to start all over again and that my paints will become clumpy and useless! Oye! 😣 I hope you are feeling much better my sweet Michelle. Thanks for understanding! They changed the formula and it’s not behaving the same. Many requests to Michael’s to change it back.
I love YOUR new technique...no pour over pearl or pearl over pour name.....call the technique the "Galli".🤭🤣😉
