A hint for firming up loose or sagging canvas. Use an very fine mister and lightly spray the back. It will cause the linen to shrink and tighten your canvas surface.
Thanks Louise! I typically do that but figured my paints were so thin and they did the job for me :)
Hi Sarah, thanks for the new pearl recipe. New to the pearl pour and will try this tomorrow! I was using Sarah Taylors older recipe that she added Apple Barrel to her Artist Loft Soft Body Paint along with Floetrol, water, and Behr. I did that, and I think that the 2022 Soft Body is different than the 2020 and 2021 that she referenced. When I started to tilt my canvas, the pearls came up so fast that by the time I was halfway done, they started to overlap and it became sort of marbled effect. It's kinda pretty, but not what I was going for. LOL. Thank you again for the recipe. You two Sarah's are great!

Love it Sarah! My favorite of all of these are exactly the same as your but I just love the blue one cause blue has always been my favorite color… one question: here in Quebec Canada, week-end don’t have Behr neither Valpar. Can I use DecoArt white satin enamel instead with same proportions?
I believe so and just add a bit of titanium white

I’ll look at the Behr when I get to studio…it was a Behr scuff defense in white satin finish
Is that house paint white then ? Im just confused again. Is there paint on the canvas ahead a time ? Or is that house paint mix oh never mind. .
House paint is the white. The canvases were already white
