hey Zack, I have a Woods 9000 3pt. backhoe that I've had for years. Next time you hook it up, back the tractor up to it, and put on the pto pump first. Start the tractor, turn on the pto and using the backhoe hydraulics you can move the backhoe in all directions to easily hook up all 3 points....will only take a few minutes. Do it the opposite way to take it off, really quick to do.
The mandako truck driver used to make deliveries to our farm show up here in upstate NY. We assembled rollers and twisters every year with him. Great video!
"I'm talkin some place warm....a place where the beer flows like wine"..... I'm an 84 model so I aint missed a single one of your movie quotes. Been lovin them for a few years now. Awesome video brother.
I like the energy in this vid. Thank you for telling us about 2.0. He’s funny😅!! I love your girl’s hair, she’s growing so fast!!! As did my kids! Enjoy them while they are young-that means, before High School. They get real busy in HS(retired HS Principal). God Bless you all and ask Becky to come on vids, just to annoy you and give us a laugh.
I too have a cat dog, she and I have a interesting relationship as she trusts me totally with out question. I'm careful to never steer her wrong and lose that trust. If I tell her something Is safe or won't hurt or scare her she never hesitates, it's special when a small creature will do things most cats won't do because of the total trust!
We use trailer compressors of an industrial type for blowing down equipment. It so much quicker and a heap more efficient. Thee hose is usually an inch and a quarter dia normally 40 ft of length. . Great for tough stuff that has got wet at some stage.
Amazing new equipment. Fun times. My old 2008 F350 didn't have DEF. Yet. Did regen. I would lose about a 1/4 tank of fuel each time. Very expensive on diesel fuel. I remember when I first bought it. It did regen in front of a city cop. The smoke it put out. I knew for sure the cop was going to give me a ticket. Nope. Have fun with the new toys. I'm glad your dad is doing okay. Take care.
It’s so cool what everyone of y’all have done for the Ag and farm community … for me, especially your channel, has helped expand the awareness how important it is to help the farms / farmers in not only the world but for sure in the great USA 🇺🇸 love watching the content my man!! Hope everything with your dad goes well and quick healing!!
Had both my hands done about 15 years ago and it was TERRIFIC!!! Had it done in the Dr's office for $250!! Dr said the insurance company should have paid me with all the money I saved them by not going into the hospital ;-) Hard part was listening to the cartilage snap when he cut it... Sounded like a chicken leg snapping 🙂 Quick healing prayers for dad🙏🙏🙏
I have a similar Backhoe attachment .. I find hooking the pump up first and using the hoe hydrauilics to be a good way to attach and remove the Hoe . set it up on its outriggers with the boom extended all the way out. then you can manipulate the hoe controls to fit to your Deere!
Love your work Zac. You guys have created an awesome farming and family focused life channel. And those odd little skits you do just like riding to aspin 😂, absolute gold. We gonna see you stick your tongue to ice cold pole this winter 🤠 I think if you do this first we will get you to 1million so Ana can ride in tractor 👍
I remember oat dust riding with my late uncle on the open cockpit combine in N. Kansas in the summer. I empathize with the bean dust and corn chaff cleanup. Gotta be done, but not nearly as fun as harvesting.
The clean out on the J&M carts is awesome. Just push everything down and let it out the bottom. Soooooo much better than trying to throw shit over the top.
I feel for Becky sometimes when she has to edit these things. I know from listening to the podcasts that she can hold her own quite well, but I'm sure she still has to roll her eyes at some of the quips that come out! Especially trying to keep some of it PG 😉
I love that. You gotta a lotta kids watching so you check your humor. I'm a grown woman who watches because this all fascinates me and I'm not subjected to the same concerns you have for children in your commentary. I have unfollowed a few for such as that. Yall work so hard, are smart as a whip, and decent. Yes please.
Hope your dads carpal tunnel surgery helps him. Love seeing how the ripping or tiling the soil brings out the dark dirt. Fields look good. Love how the dog/cat snuck into the tractor. LOL. Great video. God Bless you all.
Im thinking we need a just animal episode... My dog can be anywhere in the house and will come running when he hears your voice thinking he gets to play with your pups and cat when they come on the tv. Also I can for sure see cat/dog riding during planting and harvest next year.
Man I was driving through southern Minnesota last week on my way from South Carolina to South Dakota to go hunting. I so wanted to “swing by” and meet you in person, but I knew you and every other farmer were busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest, so I kept on keeping on. Looks like its good I did or else I’d have had to show you the trick about using the bucket and outriggers to mount that backhoe 😂 Best of luck to you and the family! Still my favorite thing to watch on TH-cam!
I have a question that I’ve been wondering for quite a few years: Why don’t farmers put silos into the ground? I always figured that if you were to find a nice hill and part it down the middle, slap some concrete walls up and a conveyor systems (one that pours in the top and a unloading system like your current silo to discharge into trucks), put a top on and the. Cover it all with dirt. Except maybe one side open to get in and out from. That sort of thing would be moisture resistant, tornado proof (😅) and allow for long storage until the prices are right.
On your ripper points you may want to try hard facing them with a welder , then determine if its worth the time and cost of welding plus extra fuel while pulling because it won't be as smooth. my guess is it will be about the same. But if you like to hardface weld its fun!
Do not no if I have ever interduced my self my name is Joyce and i rilly enjoy your channel, rilly like all the new equipment you got. Tell your daughter her hair looks great and she did great driving the trailer
Hi Zach, can you give an update on how well your dad thought the carpal tunnel surgery went? I need it done, but have heard conflicting stories on how well it work's. My fingers get locked up, and i have to pull them back before they will work for me, especially in the morning. Always seems like the harvesting goes pretty quick, hopefully next year will be a better year, and you will get some good growing weather without any crop damage. G-d bless everyone.
I live in Louisiana and most farmers rent a commercial air compressor to blow the combines off every day. Takes about 15 minutes with one of those, but they are loud and messy.
The Adventures of Zach and Cat-dawg, this could get interesting. I still think a Jim-Cam would be equally interesting. Great video, looking forward to the new building, the Facebook progress looks good.
Zac have you thought of getting someone to fabricate a hitch that pins onto the new backhoe and then on the other side can connect to your CAT 3 hitch so you don’t have to take the CAT hitch off on the 6R.
Seems like 2.0 was more trucking in the past and is involved in helping out with a lot more odd jobs helping around the yard/shop. Looks like a good hand to have around!
Another fascinating video of a day on the farm explaining the struggle bus issues farmers have to deal with. Especially these days with all the fancy electronics controlled equipment you almost gotta attend a college course to understand.
That's the biggest tractor I've seen a 3-point backhoe like that on. You'll get your exercise moving from one seat to the other. As someone else said I would have put it on the Moline.
Maybe sometime consider getting a commercial diesel powered compressor, I use one on corn pickers and it cleans them very quickly especially the head and knife rolls.
Now that was funny. Harry!! Cat dog might be your new riding partner. Lol. You are going to like that backhoe attachment behind the 6175. Can't wait to see it in action.
you guys should really consider a Big Brother type programming. Can never get enough of Zack’s Jokes and Farm operations😅😅😂😂 always get a bit sad at the end of the video, letting it sink in that it will take another few days for the next video.
15th.

Hi I was wondering what editing software do you use

I do enjoy Cat/Dog, it's nice to have such an animal around, just happy to chill in any situation
Great to see the cat in the cab funny she wasn't scared at all!
"I make the payments on this seat." Classic. I'm gonna have to use that the next time the kids are sitting in my recliner.
The last couple seconds of every episode are always gold
I have learned a few movie quotes from this channel. Today's was apparently from Dumb and Dumber
AND TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF
NO BANDAGE ON MY HAND, Dad says!! They don't make guys like him too much any more! Gotta LOVE HIM!!
Remember the cat was keeping the seat warm for you and all the mice out of the cab. Good job cat!
Very nice!
Always good to see "The Gentleman " Jim, Keeping everyone lined out
Cat-Dog!!!!! What a fitting name. Happy weekend Zach and Fam.
thinking this name over; isnt Cat Dog really a Dog Cat???
It’s always the best when I get the notification of a new millennial farmer video.
ya i agree
Yeah it's great..... Unless you are trying to film a video for your channel, because then you've got to stop it 😂🤣😂
Same here from Italy 🇮🇹🇮🇹

I can’t believe I missed some of these videos. I’ve been watching you forever how I missed him I don’t know. I’m catching up. Thanks, Zach.
Had some real zingers in this video Zach. The last one had me in stitches 🤣
The hair looks great btw, Rhiannon👍

Dang I enjoy your video. Thanks for filming them, Becky thanks for editing them. You two are awesomely.

Can’t wait to see the finished shed after all the mud subsides
That's a sweet catto you got there.
Thanks for offering them warm place to go through cold Winter.
My sides still hurt on your, “Harry!” Great post. I hope your Dad makes a fast and full recovery.
Happy to see parts to the new shed showing up, since the old shed probably landed on a witch next to the yellow brick road months ago.
Love how Dig crosses her paws.

Always a pleasure to join you in your day. Thank you for all you and your family do to bring awareness to farming.
Hook up your pto pump first and us your hydraulics to get the backhoe hooked up. You can use the outriggers and bucket to get everything in place.
It’s so cool what everyone of y’all have done for the Ag and farm community … for me, especially your channel, has helped expand the awareness how important it is to help the farms / farmers in not only the world but for sure in the great USA 🇺🇸 love watching the content my man!!

I rode the bus with Nate up throughout elementary school. Funny to see him in his element nowadays.

Those woods backhoes are handy little attachments but if you can get a sub frame for it your tractor will be much happier
Love your work Zac. You guys have created an awesome farming and family focused life channel.

Yup my granddad had an open combine too. Dust from oats every where.
nothing compares to Barley dust, Talk about having the itch ☹
I really enjoyed the story time with your dad videos, maybe you could do something like that with Jim and 2.0 to get their story
Love the mutual respect you and you dad share!

@@patrickkelly4070 if you check the bottom of the description...

Great to see u'all getting ready for some down time. Work never ends on the farm. Great video.
2:06 "Erector. He didnt even hardly know her."

@13:10 check out that old country church. We need a better view looks stellar ! Btw love “ cat dog “.
The Woods factory is 14 miles from my house nice seeing them used up north.
I have operated both hands for carpael tunel syndrom.Hope ur father makes full recovery:)
Hope your dads carpal tunnel surgery helps him. Love seeing how the ripping or tiling the soil brings out the dark dirt. Fields look good. Love how the dog/cat snuck into the tractor. LOL. Great video. God Bless you all.
Blew off our three combines and heads for the farm I work for, it was a lovely Friday, let’s just say that.
Don’t forget to wash and store the lawn mower this year. Mowergeddon was amazing
Needs to be a different piece of equipment this winter 🤣🤣
Im thinking we need a just animal episode... My dog can be anywhere in the house and will come running when he hears your voice thinking he gets to play with your pups and cat when they come on the tv.

I always wish I could take two points and move material to the next one. Make one good point out of 3 total. (Some stuff only 2)
So many funnies this vid. That behavior is perfectly normal for a cat. You move, they sit, they own. Pretty simple really.
Hello and welcome to my channel how long have you been in my channel?......................
Thanks for the explanation on 2.0. A lot of us were wondering. Great video as always. ✌️

Cat dog looked rather comfortable in that little corner 🤔. Someone to keep you company out in the field? 🤣
I love the cat hanging out with you
That backhoe is gunna be as handy as a pocket on a shirt!
They're really not that handy to unhook and hook up tho.
I live in Louisiana and most farmers rent a commercial air compressor to blow the combines off every day. Takes about 15 minutes with one of those, but they are loud and messy.
Oh boy aspen was good part with cat/ dog can’t wait too see the shed go up always enjoy ur video s
Love the Cat part.!
Please keep us posted on how the Backhoe does!
Erector....he didn't even hardly know her 🤣🤣🤣
Your the best Zach, hi from Michigan
The Adventures of Zach and Cat-dawg, this could get interesting. I still think a Jim-Cam would be equally interesting. Great video, looking forward to the new building, the Facebook progress looks good.
Would've been fun to see you try the Mandako chisel in your corn stalks!
As someone who speaks in movie/tv quotes, I appreciate all your movie references, nice job.
Things are sure changing around the yard. 🎉🎉
The editor should have a big hug for all the work on these videos. ❤

Crazy his dad is always calm never yelling

Cat-Dog is the coolest kitty, seems to be breaking all the rules😄😄
I think the moline would be kinda neat with that backhoe
Hay Zack I love watching your videos I'm always waiting for a new one
Maybe sometime consider getting a commercial diesel powered compressor, I use one on corn pickers and it cleans them very quickly especially the head and knife rolls.
Erector - didn't even know her :-) Rectum - damn near killed him :-)
Regarding the outhouse in the winter. Get some long tube socks and slide them over the seat. :)
Just put it next to the draw bar and tie it with twine Great video 👍 👍
good to see Nate 2.0 is not as bashful as he use to be👏👏
It seems like every time I start filling a video for my channel, I get a notification from millennial farmer... I've got to stop and watch it. 😂
Now that was funny. Harry!! Cat dog might be your new riding partner. Lol. You are going to like that backhoe attachment behind the 6175. Can't wait to see it in action.
Catdog helped himself to a tractor ride- awesome 🐈
As a family farm, what kind of lock-out / tag-out precautions do you all tend to follow?
Zach that was great new backhoe and new mondago great never miss a video thank you for sharing and your time was really good 👍
Comedic relief at its best. The end of the video is epic. Thanks for the laughs Zack:)
When you grease an implement you must clean the zerk off before greasing
You need a huge towable air compressor with a wand to blast all that chaff off instead of the leaf blowers.
We had a woods groundbreaker ourselves.. good piece of equipment
you guys should really consider a Big Brother type programming. Can never get enough of Zack’s Jokes and Farm operations😅😅😂😂 always get a bit sad at the end of the video, letting it sink in that it will take another few days for the next video.
Dogcat.. What a petsonage.. ✌️
CAT GOT A RIDE lets go!!!! so close to seeing the doggos in there!
Catdog stole a ride before her time!! 🤣🤣🤣
I got a similar backhow but with 2 wheels and a "CAR" trailer hitch,, So my car can pull it around, really nice for small fast jobs..
2:06 I started laughing before he made the pun 😅😂
Hello from Ireland 🇮🇪 Love the vids keep up the good work❤
I love watching your videos they teach me a lot about farming and I am a future farmer
Zach, I really-really enjoy your videos. Lots of farming variety. 😎🚜🚜
When I was a kid I absolutely loved the erector set man. I remember building some pretty damn cool things too.
