Wonderful..... from North to South, a whole stretch of LRT. Development is constrained by the hill and mountains, and the townships are mostly on the eastern side of the island, so this line will serve almost ALL. Next, have more buses, and then Penangites can leave their cars at home.

Please provide complete feeder bus service to every LRT station. If people were to talk to LRT, then it would be white elephant then. Bear in mind there would be limited parking space around the LRT station. So well connected feeder bus service can increase the LRT ridership in the long run.

Nuh. I would rather if the location is strategically located at a high density populated area where people can just walk to the train station. Compared to walking to the bus station, taking a bus, taking an MRT, etc. Nobody's going to use it. We can have bus services as a supporting role.

      WHY Johor?
A mix transport service system of MRT and LRT projects in Penang Island and Seberang Perai are sure-win profitable venture due to high population concentration within the small area that are highly industrialised and have high volume of visitors and tourists. MRT or Train services are more suitable for Georgetown-Bayan Lepas-Airport Link. Just learn the successful experience of the MRT Services from SIngapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Taipei, Bangkok, Seoul etc and implement it in Penang. LRT is good but unable to carry many passengers during peak hours. MRT and Speed Train services are more desirable between major towns. BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) was very successful in Xiamen Island, China too.

    1. The ex-waste area next to Persiarana Karpal Singh
    2. Gurney wharf? probably not, too "luxury"area for depot building
    3. Kompleks Belia Dan Sukan Pulau Pinang? Relocate the Kem, but it seem ugly to build Depot just in front of Penang Bridge Entrance
