Nice tool for the shop! I'm starting to wonder if Tom ever sleeps. Filming, editing and posting these videos isn't a quick process. And I'm sure that even though we don't see a per day cook on one of the LOG examples, there's dinner to be made and then getting the grill spotless again. I appreciate the effort Tom.
The company that made the Excalibur scroll saw moved production to China. Shortly afterwards a bunch of clones appeared. However, the claim is that the clones aren't as durable as the original Excalibur or Pegas saws. Problems with the bearings and linkages have been reported.
@@garydahn6728 the Bauer scroll saw is definitely better for a quarter of the price it can angle 30 and 45 degrees on another side the Pegas does the exact same, baure has a 22” throat the pegas has a 30” throat depth the Baure has a 1.6 motor i don’t know about the pegas motor I can’t find the information anywhere but it looks like they have the same size motor surprisingly the baure can cut at 1600 strokes per minute whereas I can’t find that information for the pegas go figure

Thanks Ted! It is time consuming….
That’s a great price on that saw. I’m hoping to upgrade soon and really like the features on that one.
Thanks for watching! Works very well
Nice Saw and great review. Does it take pinned and straight blades?
Thanks for watching Matthew! Straight blades
Definitely a nice scroll saw and very reasonable price Tom! Great review. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for Watching! Yes it is!
Very nice review. Looks like fun!
Thanks for watching Eric! It is!
Its odd it looks like the Pegas ($995.00) saw. Does it perform like a Pegas for 1/3 the price?
Thanks for Watching! Not heard of the Pegasus, fyi the new Bauer from Harbor Freight is also the same
