Day before yesterday I bought DJI osmo Action 3 and I was worried about Tutorial etc. You one video helped me a lot. I have one question about charging batteries, can I charge 1 or 2 batteries in box but not 3 at one time or can I charge 1 battery in box?

Brilliant stuff! Bought myself one at a runout price due to the 4 being released. Trying my hand at Motovlogging, I'm a massive technophobe so this was a great primer. I'm off on a 12 day ride thru the high country of Victoria (Australia) so I'll see what results I can achieve!

Great informative video and will be watching your videos from now on. I recently got myself a Action 3 and really am a virgin when it comes to settings and what i should be using for certain conditions. Im going to Switzerland in a couple of months and really want to capture some great footage. Could you please advise me on what basic settings i need to use so i dont mess things up. Id like to get some slow motion scenes too,so would you recommend using the slow motion feature on the camera itself or shoot in another setting and slowing down in editing. To be honest it seems quite daunting to me ,so i need help in a easy standard setting i can go to quickly.Hope you can help.

Love the Video . Yes agree the DJI action 3 is the best. Was loyal goPro user had 7-8-9-10-11 and several of each cameras. Ran in to purchasing problem with company store worked for months trying to get it fixed no luck was loyal customer. Moved to DJI 100% fantastic customer service and DJI action 3 so much better than the GoPro 11. Will be ready to order DJI osmo action 4!

@@Life_of_John tbh it was cost, approx £100 more expensive for the 4. But I did watch a review that said there was not much of a difference between the 2 models, they both had the ability that I was looking for and the 3 was just in budget 👌😄📷

Hi there. Excellent video. May I please ask - when in the field (say on a long roadtrip for example), how do you transfer the footage from the memory card to the cloud? I am assuming that this is the normal procedure, rather than carrying enough memory cards for the whole duration.
i owned, the DJI action 1, and loved it. I like doing video on action cameras and stills on iphones or samsungs. I found when I owned a Canon G7x Mk2 it was prone to dust inside it, even when I was very careful

I think it does actually, but limited to 2.7K resolution

That's really not an issue for me.. the only thing I'm curious is how it compares to GoPro 11 with the max lens and horizon lock since I have one but I'm considering the action 3 because my GoPro's are simply not reliable and I use them professionally..
Would love to see how the image cropping and quality compares since in reliability it's a hands down win to DJI from all the reviews I saw..
What's your read on that?
Have you found any close focusing issues on the Action 3 while vlogging?
Ive heard others mention this and the solution is a +1 close focusing filter from Vivitar etc, is there a way a filter adaptor can be fitter to the Action 3 for Glimmer Glass/Black Mist or +1 filters?

Once you get the little door over the USB port off, how do you get it back on? I wish you had explained attaching the DJI sound module.
Really helpful video, for me the DJI was almost a foregone conclusion, I have had several GoPro Cameras but they are very clunky and if something goes wrong then support can be non existent as I have found out on two occasions. One question ..... do you have any recommendations for a gimbal for the Camera, I have had a look on Aliexpress but they seem to be minimally compatible with the DJI and more towards the GoPro. Any advice would be appreciated

Yes, via USB-C port. You can use powerbank, any DJI battery charging case or even wall charger. The only issue is overheating while charging and continuously record in 4K in warm ambient temps. Works no issue for me in lower resolutions and hyper/timelapse.

I have just watched your fantastic video on this camera. I have been using my IPhone 6s Plus to record all my TH-cam content, but the camera has just started the 'death wobble'. I am looking for a super simple, almost 'point and go' like my IPhone camera to keep making my videos. All I need to do is record myself working on my bench and talking to camera at my table. I use a Blue Yeti mic when I'm talking to camera at my table. would this camera be as good (or better) than my now dead IPhone 6? This maybe more camera than need, but the prices all seem to start for £240 anyway. Any help would be fantastic from you, thank you 🙂

Nice Video! I just bought a Action 3, and it is a great thing. But specs tell me that I can use SD card up to 256Gb? But my old GoPro 7 can use both 512Gb and 1Tb cards. As far as I know, there is no limit in the file system at 256Gb? SDXC cards upper limit is 2Tb. Anybody know the reason for the 256Gb limit on the Action 3?

Hi Simon. I have an Action 3, and use HD for most things as it makes editing way quicker. Most people are not viewing in 4k anyway. When in HD mode, you get a full 360 degrees horizon steady, which is fantastic!

I love my action 3. Love everything about it. Even the sounds. I hate the gopro and the sounds and just the useability of a go pro.
I have an Osmo Action 1, and now the version 3. They are fab but my Samsung A12 just doesn't want to work with the camera. Any suggestions?
What post edit software would you recommend on windows ? For the DJI, also do you have any grading profile ? :)
you can try CapCut and DaVinci Resolve for free

Yes maybe u set it, like after a minute the screen turned off automatically but its not a problem it saves from over heating and battery draining

I had a Hero 7 before - crappiest crap of all craps... And I was so surprised with Osmo Action 1 quality and reliability! DJI Osmo Action is now my most favourite action camera! GoPro is 💩

Step 1. Buy camera step 2. Realise focus is fugged. 3 See DJI try and address a hardware problem with a software fix to sharpen the picture. 4. Send camera back for refund. 5. Really liked this camera but they have multiple cases of focus problems in hardware. 6. Don’t buy an action 3 until they address this glaring issue
