It's incredibly interesting to see the disdain between Magnus and Mortarion falter during the siege of Terra and after truly ascending to demonhood, watching Magnus help Mortarion come to terms with becoming a true psyker was pretty cool tbh.
A sad thing about Angron... the brother who could have helped him the most... is him. He needed an empath to help him deal with the pain and sorrow. His new self needs his old self, a tragedy and joke worthy of Tzeetch. The same for Magnus. And I think that's what he realises here.
In 'The Seventh Serpent' Alpharius refuses to kill Nykona Sharrowkyn because he states ‘Magnus asked me not to.’ That's not much to go on, but it implies they at least had some kind of working relationship (assuming of course that you can even trust anything Alpharius says).
And with regards to Magnus believing Corvus "spread lies", being a XIXth player I am inclined to agree with Rho that he would not spread lies. However, also being a fan of Corvus lore I seem to recall Agapito and Bran having a back and forth about Corvus saying (and Im paraphrasing a bit) "There isn't a Primarch Corvus has not got into it with, he has a tendency to cry and cause havok." and even that one rogue traitor Raven Guard, with the help of Fabius on Carandiru (can't remember the names after years but remember that planet, also play EC) was openly calling Corvus, his own Primarch, an idiot. Speaking one's mind without a filter is the true geneflaw of Corax. So all that word salad said, do I believe Corvus spread lies about Magnus? No. Do I believe Corvus spread anti-psyker propaganda because The Emperor decreed it outlawed? Absolutely.
Seeing Corax now it makes you wonder if he was truly opposed to psyker abilities or just sorcery. I'm pretty sure Sanguinius and Jaghatai knew of both Alpharius and Omegon. So I'd be really surprised if Magnus wasn't. This is just my take, but I feel like the other primarchs, loyal and traitor, lamented the losses of Sanguinius and Vulcan more than the loss of Horus.
its funny how all the other primarchs think Guilliman is Entitled yet none of the other primarchs had a star fairing empire that they built for their people alot of projections from the others
I too remember an off-handed comment about Alpharius’ soul or other being divided or implied there were two …. Sorry I’m working off of old lore years ago. Great job please continue doing what you do!
Apparently lorgar gave alpharius omegon 2 copies of his book and each were written differently (he customized each book he sent to each primarch)? Maybe that's what you're thinking of, otherwise I don't know. Great video dude.
I bet what you're misremembering about know there was more than just Alpharius was that time Leman Russ talked to Alpharius and joked "there must be two of you". Just before that he growled about Magnus being a sorcerer.
I don't think that's it, that's a very Russ moment, hard to confuse with Magnus. I think what he is misremembering is the comment where Lorgar says he's going to send two copies of his book to Alpharius.
In my view : Magnus's response to Lorgar's comment about Guilliman seemed a bit backhanded, directed towards Lorgar himself. As if he believed Lorgar was the one being arrogant.

Mortarion's self hate and rejection of his own gifts out of spite and Magnus letting him know its cool to embrace it.
Post HH not one of the traitor primarchs can stand to be near each other for 5 seconds without wanting a death match.
Magnus was just using Morty to get into the Imperial palace. He was still quite pissed at Morty for the Council of Nikea.

Where does it state sanguinius and the Khan knew of omegon?
Magnus' opinion of Vulcan? Hm, i'm glad they were able to hammer out their differences and come to terms. 😎
You beat me hammers down to making this comment 😂
You hit the nail on the head with that comment. 😅

I mean, Magnus, while not having an Empire like Guilliman, did turn Prospero into a paradise in ways that Magcragge was not.
Dorn was the only one that sort of had an empire but it was nothing like guillimans

Russ and Logar both teased that they knew Alpharius had a twin.

I’d love to see you cover Warhammer fantasy lore, especially with the rising popularity of The Old World.
I agree with the sentiment of this ironically named man.
and age of sigmar.....
@@ignusthemad3150 Nah I’m good thanks though.
@@MadDogMelville How is it ironic? Warhammer fantasy has guns.
Wait, what about the second part on MANGUS' opinion of every primarch? :)
Rho, do you plan to cover any Fantasy or AoS lore?
I'd be down to see him do that if hopefully he is interested.

5:25 Maybe Magnus found it amusing that Lorgar, in particular, was preaching about the need for humility
No one not even leman could beat down and scold magnus like vulkan did
Can you do the opinion of Leman Russ, Lion el’Jonson and Constantin Valdor’s of each primarch
Do Fulgrims opinion of the rest of his brothers next; pick your poison with pure or corrupt Fulgrim
Where Mangus?
Over there
18:26 Well, typical for Alpharius! There may be, there may be not, but it may also be a lie... Or is it?
I think you missed Magnus’s views on the Primarch of the 15th legion. You went from the 14th Mortarion and then next the 16th Horus
In my view : Magnus's response to Lorgar's comment about Guilliman seemed a bit backhanded, directed towards Lorgar himself.
As if he believed Lorgar was the one being arrogant.
I’m pretty sure Magnus’s favorite is Konrad

Lorgar did nothing wrong.
