    Absolutely super sugoi video! The silicone sticky things are such a great idea! I'm a big Blackmagic Micro cinema camera fan. We have been using the HD version for some years for wildlife stuff as it's so good in low light. Recently, we are using the 4k G2 version and love it too. Super versatile in may many ways for wildlife work. Nothing like having a Hyaku-en shop selling all sorts of stuff. I used to live in Tokyo and these stores were a go to shop all the time LOL! You have another subscriber!

      Thank you for watching.
      The buttons on both the HD and G2 are difficult to press (in other words, it's safe to not press them accidentally), so this idea is perfect when shooting handheld.
      There are many 100 yen shops in Japan, so there are many things that can be used for photography. Photographing wild animals is very interesting. I'm watching your video!

    Better to try and acquire the original Smallrig cage for the HD model as it fits perfectly to the new 4K G2 model.

      I owned a smallrig BMMCC cage in the past.
      Every store now
      It's no longer on sale, so I have no choice but to use the ZCAM one, but are there any new ones being released?

      @@tsukurutv_ I'm not sure. I was talking to someone at smallrig last week and all they said was tat they hd been discontinued. I wrote back and suggested that they should make them again. Maybe i will follow this up. There are other manufacturers i believe but they look terribly overbuilt with lots of metal where it is simply not needed IMHO.

      @@tsukurutv_ How does the ZCAM perform in low light? I was thinking about getting them too?

    • @tsukurutv_
      @tsukurutv_  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@francischeefilms ZCAM is a sensor that uses dual native ISO, and the ISO setting is the key in low light conditions.The base sensitivity of each sensor is ISO500 on the low gain side and ISO2500 on the high gain side. It's a low noise setting of 4K30P, but it looks very good in this regard.

    Personally, I don't like the "altcine" attachment. There are many problems when people try t print large objects via the 3D printer due to different glass temperatures of particular materials used because of uneven cooling rates and almost impossible to get a structure as accurate as the same object milled from metal. (we liaised, with professional 3D printer companies trying to achieve this for microscope parts and in the end the parts always needed "tweaking" in order to get them right, the effort better spent by simply milling them from Aluminium. So it comes as no surprise as to why the altcine attachment will not work reliably.
    It's easier to use for example the Indio Pro dummy back which then goes to a an adaptor which supports the larger SONY batteries, OR as you have done if one works carefully, simply make your own adaptor as you have shown.

      "altcine", there are concerns about the strength of the battery connection part, and there are variations in installation accuracy depending on the battery manufacturer.
      However, I like the expandability and the change in appearance. Surprisingly, you won't notice the weight when wearing it, and it will be easier to hold.

      @@tsukurutv_ Yes, I also do not understand why Smallrig discontinued the manufacture of their cage which fitted the HD version of the BMMCC, as this acge fits exactly the newer model sue to the same dimensions and that means if one was using tis cage then they simply just swapped everything over; certainly, that's what we did.

    Where can I find the V-lock to LP-E6 DC coupler to buy?

    • @tsukurutv_
      @tsukurutv_  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are no commercially available adapters to convert from V-lock to LP-E6. I modified it and made it myself.
