That day was wild. I walked my dog through glen park canyon and I saw like 3 great horned owls and coyotes just chilling on the main trails like it was dusk.
I did go outside that day. Got some cool pics in the East Bay. Did capture some shots of the lightning itself. Interestingly enough, it was supposed to hot that day too, but the amount of sunlight that was filtered out made it 15º cooler than it was supposed to be. You should have seen it earlier in the morning. It was bright red.
Love these, keep em up. Was a crazy day. i took the day off and made a video exploring apocalyptic orange sf. Has been interesting seeing how other people document this hopefully once in a lifetime event.
Your videos are great and I will leave those complementary comments on other videos. This one stands out to me because it''s a bit more personal. I was born in Healdsburg, up in Sonoma County, where Santa Rosa is and was devastated by fires in 2017. In 2020 Healdsburg was hit by fires. The same fires that helped make San Francisco's skies orange. What made the fires even more personal, more than being in my home county and hometown, is that the fires came within just a few miles from my childhood home AND my birthday is... September 9th (California's too, btw).
Great video Joey! Very informative. I love your passion for the Bay Area. But let us talk about your pet pigeons? That is very ironic SF as well. Could you tell us more about them or maybe a video, please?
Do you guys think this will finally drive down SF rental prices? Now that people can work from home due to COVID, there seems to be less and less incentive to stay...
Kinda hard to say for sure. I think short term, things will get cheaper, but the city has set such a wild precedent that even if WFH becomes the standard, I still think it’ll remain the most expensive city in the US to live.
Muhammad 786 yes please! I used to live in San Diego and I loved feeding the pigeons. I was a full time student and didn’t have much money. So I would go to the wienerschnitzel and getting fries to share with the pigeons. I guess that’s what you do on Saturdays when you are super poor. Then I would go dumpster diving. It was 1983 and I had the best time. Now it’s huge people do dumpster diving videos. I did it because I needed free entertainment. Lol. Oh wow his pigeons are so pretty! I’m glad he showed them. Take care Muhammad, Leslye
Thank you so much for this video and talking about it. It will be something Bay Area people will be processing for a while. And then again. And again. And again. I live in the East Bay and basically only went outside to go shopping or water my tomato plants because even with a mask (I didn't have a supply of N95s), the air in August and September gave me coughing fits.
Joey can you PLEASE do a video on the urban legends of SF or like the most haunted locations of SF???? PLEAAAASSSEEEE *Halloween is coming up, just saying...*
What you in the Bay Area, California, Washington and Oregan are going through has been consistently been predicted by environmentalists for decades. Even now, major news outlets, in their stories about it, don't present it as being a byproduct of global warming. Mu heart goes out to you and all the residents of the besutuful City that provided me shelter for 19 years.
Hope everyone - and your pets - are doing well out there.
Also, I almost broke my brain trying to figure out Reyleigh’s Scattering. Science is hard.
Skies were orange here in Santa Cruz for 3 days, so surreal
Could be they arrested a female for arson in Salinas CA.
These videos look like they are made by VOX . Simply amazing👏
For real. I'm waiting for the rest of TH-cam to stop sleeping on Joey Yee. It's only a matter of time before this channel blows up!
yeah he even sounds like a VOX narrator!
@@chinamanWin It's amazing
@@aliceknowskarate Me too , he's so underated

I was living 2 miles away from the Walbridge fire near Healdsburg at the time. We had some
orange skies but nothing like that down in SF jeeeeeeesus
A few days ago, it looked like Hell. Then it turned into Purgatory, like we're in some sort of Silent Hill game.
Oregon looked like a still from Batman: The Animated Series.

I woke up at 10am that day and thought it was still night time lmao
Joey is so handsome. He needs to expand his audience so the rest of the country and enjoy his hotness
I love the SF street grid t-shirt

Haha, sure! I actually made a video a couple of months ago about my life with pigeons. You can watch it here: th-cam.com/video/KAqJRPnMdiw/w-d-xo.html
@@JoeyYee Thanks! Not sure how I missed that video but excited to view it.
This is a necessary step to get to that classic Bladerunner dystopia.
