    Sounds great and the list price is only $249. This is a no brainer for me. I need a more powerful delay, but I’m not trying to launch the space shuttle...this fits the bill perfect.
    And John is an animal - my personal favorite for gear demo on the tubes.

    John, you are Awesome. I love your Passion & Enthusiasm - for music-gear, guitars and your Rig Rundowns. You and me, with the Boss DR-880 in the Living room (always ready to go). I have the DD-500 and it's absolutely Killer. Tape, Analog, Digital, Filter, Shimmer, Infinite, Phaser, Tremolo, Swells, Pad's.

    it's almost a delay that i needed for years, meaning a bpm adjustable delay in a regular pedal format size. I got myself dd-500 which isn't going anywhere anytime soon. but this device is great. Boss is the boss!

    I just bought the Boss RV-6 Reverb and haven't even been home to play with it yet and then I ordered the DD-200 yesterday. I am a little concerned that there's going to be a lot of crossover sounds and effects between the two. Reverb is just delay after all. Hopefully they will each shine on their own with great distinction between the two.
    That EQ-200 will be next I'm sure. My MXR 10-Band is great but pre/post features as well as memory slots are very nice features that are hard to ignore. I only wish both of these 200 pedals had more than 4 memory slots.
    Now we need a nice, functional and affordable pedalboard switcher from Boss.

    Does anyone know what the max delay time is for the DD200? A few sites say it has 60 seconds of max delay time while others say 60 seconds of max recording time? Are they the same or are the delay time and recording different time lengths?

    Digitech made something like this ten years ago. They called it “Time Bender”. Other than the longer loop time on the boss, looks rather similar.

    • @whodamathadamus
      @whodamathadamus 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The timebender had 8 users spaces and you could add an expression pedal to morph between 2 @ a time. Plus you didn't have patterns, instead you could strum in patterns and it would learn them. The Timebender is legendary!

    • @paulauksztulewicz4803
      @paulauksztulewicz4803 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1¢ Brent -could not agree more with you Sir. The reason why the Time Bender is staying on my pedal board. You could also adjust BPM with an expression pedal on the fly. DigiTech was very innovative at the time. Their Harmony Man is also quite the gem. Also to be found on my board. Adrian Belew is a frequent user of that red box.

    Stay away from the DD 200!!! This is built like cheap junk. The item was internally defective and unusable after 5 months and Roland won't support the warranty claim. Not up to old Boss standards of quality by any means.
