A massively volatile market. The sneaker market has been on a huge rise over the past 10 years. Issue is, look at all of the shoes they are flipping. 90% look like they are Nike dunks /Jordan’s, Yeezy is dead, NB are all the same shade of grey with a different code. The reason for the volatility is that, people move on, they will move onto something totally different. End of the day it’s fashion, it’s always evolving.

These people are the reason why you can’t anymore just go to your local foot locker & get those pairs in your size you like because they are hoarding it , selling them for bigger profit that the brand makes!

I love this but who is buying in marked resale shops anymore?? It baffles me that people still pay 20-35% markup at any of these stores. Not hating I wish u ladies the world.
I have a Nike Outlet rather close to me but it all depends on the inventory avail that determines my success. I'd have to source other wholesalers. A friend orders from China and tells me they are essentially seconds, not fake but ones that may have small imperfections.
I do have a question. Are you supposed to put shrink wrap or and kind of protection for sneakers on display? I mean people touch them everyday and these are "limited/expensive" stuff, does dirt or stain matter? Thanks
I don't like this business.. in a nutshell their niche is speculating with sneaker price. Nike needs to step up their game and get involved with legals since this artificially increases the price of their product. And on top you have speculators manipulating Nike's product and selling it if it was original.
If people are willing to pay the prices then people will sell for higher prices. The market controls the price and value of items not sellers. If customers didn't buy it then the prices would drop but they still buy it at high prices because it is worth it to them. And what do you propose Nike sues for? Prices is not a reason to sue just because you don't like it. The business is completely legal.
I would love to do something like that down here in Costa Rica.❤ Because I love sneakers and the problem down here that there selling copies ( fake ) sneakers.
The sneaker head market will probably be over saturated, with sellers. It will cut into your profits. Luckily if you get the sneakers for cheap then you might win. I see it as side hustle than a business you cant really expand unless you have acess to supply house.
