    It absolutely destroyed someone I love dearly. Getting her medical card was the beginning of her downward spiral that ultimately destroyed her life and NOONE around her except myself was willing to consider that it may not have been the right treatment for her. Of course I was ignored.
    Just recently found out we share genetics with predisposition to psychosis with use.

      @@msmistro5725 I know someone who was autistic and super smart, she got a PHD in chemistry. After that she started smoking around 2018 because she lived in Colorado where they really marketed it heavy towards autism, anxiety, depression, basically anything. Now she’s working in dollar tree, she had a mental health crisis and got psychosis, harassing her supervisor thinking they were meant to be while he was married. Additionally, There’s a video on every brain matters here on TH-cam about a woman who was very pro cannabis and her dream was to open up her shop. As time passed she had to hire a security because people with come in more and more irritable which turned into anger and hostility. She then had to close shop. It’s definitely not evil and I’m not saying he should be criminalised but even some professionals are so misinformed about it. The problem is the disgusting marketing and money hungry government who still says it’s the same weed as the 60’s.

    The despensories always make turpenes sound like a good thing, I had no idea the terpenes were the bad compounds that have been added that’s messing up the cannabus. Up until today I thought cannabus was improving my quality of life, but I’ve been watching these videos all day, because I think I have the start of CHS, and my mind has been completely changed from what I thought I knew, and I’ve been using for over 10 years for my fibromyalgia. By the way, never had any issues with CHS till I switched mainly to vaping in December, if you want to keep smoking NEVER start vaping! It will ruin you CB1 receptor and you won’t be able to digest your food anymore. 😢 Oh and I had already typed that before she started talking about vaping. Lol

I smoked for over a decade, because I genuinely thought it was improving my quality of life, but my life has improved leaps and bounds from quitting. All my stomachs problems are completely gone, and I finally don’t feel like I’m running on a vapor of energy, my chronic fatigue has greatly improved. I smoked since i was 16. Im 37 now. I developed CHS recently, I'm pretty sure it's because i was taking more and more concentrates. I started taking RSO for my chronic pain and anxiety. At first, it was amazing. I thought it was a miracle. But the more you use it, the more you need to feel the effects. I went from taking a gram in maybe a week, to only getting 2 uses out of a gram, and it would be gone in 2 days. I started getting extremely nauseous in the morning and throwing up uncontrollably. Luckily I remembered that CHS is a thing. I caught it early. For about a week i had to take an anti nausea pill. Yesterday was the first day i didn't need it. Weed was my go to crutch. But now the amount of energy I have is insane! Im manic as hell but much prefer it to feeling sick 24/7. Too much of a good thing is BAD. CHS needs to be talked about more on the amount of people going through it in the ER is on the rise and many doctors don't even know that it's a thing. If weed is going to be common... Then CHS should be common knowledge as well.

      @@carwashgirl3541 Oh man girl, I was so there with the mania the first week. Keep your eyes on the goal, cause it will go away after a couple weeks. What helped me a lot was making tea with catnip for anxiety, and lemon balm for the nerves, and raspberry leaf if your stomach is still woozy. Only a little bit of catnip goes a long way or it will make you nauseous. I also used Magnesium and Kava Kava at night to help me calm down for sleep. Your anxiety will get better, figured out smoking was actually making my anxiety and isolation worse. You got this! And yes, I agree it needs to be talked about more. I especially wish the budtenders would warn you when you start using more and more vapes and concentrates, but guess to them that’s bad for business. 😡

    Another great video! 46F, started using at around 30. Immediately became a wake-n-bake all day long addiction. My brain is soooooo messed up now which is why I am quitting! I have always had anxiety and depression but it has manifested into something I've never experienced. I once thought marijuana was innocent but it grabbed me and got me good for 15 years. I've quit other drugs, nicotine...this one is the hardest for me, the THC just lingers forever in my fat cells. I am tapering down, mixing measured amounts of CBD/THC flower, 4 weeks in, my THC usage is down at least 90%. I am feeling mostly good but still pretty mentally uncomfortable. Every day is a battle.

Addiction is a behavior that is developed in time, by repeating something that can give temporary release but that in the long run can damage our self's or our surroundings. So the schizophrenic person thinks he should act casual and starts pretending to be browsing something on his phone so the angels leave him alone. This is psychosis. Psychosis is when you are no longer living in reality. You are seeing what isn't real and can't differentiate and acting on that in reality i.e reacting to the fake stimuli with no second guess that it may not be real.

    Is paranoia a form of psychosis?

    • @realmstupid-on8df
      @realmstupid-on8df 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Paranoia in my opinion (not a professional just a dude) can be triggered from rational judgement subconsciously...like when I dealt with narcissistic abuse I always had to Seco d guess things. It made me paranoid.
      A paranoid delusion is psychotic which is probably what you're thinking of. It's paranoia from someone's own false belief. Which is what a delusion is its believing in something as if it's a fact with zero actual rationality to think it's true. Like "the feds following me" or "they" and "them" being after you conspiratorial style.

    What is driving the heavy usage of cannibas? I wonder if it's underlying depression? I tried Marijuana a few times many years ago and I hated it. For me it was a mixed bag. I had some giggles and all that but I also had paranoia and anxiety. The bad definitely outweighed the good with my cannibas experiences. Interestingly, this doesn't seem to be the case with a lot of people. Maybe they are mildly depressed and weed lifts them out of it.

    I started at 44 after I developed spastic paraparesis. This plant is incredibly complex. Are they using Indica or Sativa? Out of the box, the Sativa type is well known to cause paranoia. People around the world have been using this for generations. This is no different than booze! If consumed in moderation, you're fine. If you drink too much, you're going to have issues.

    The world wants a dumbed down population hence in fact why they want us to be high all the time. It makes us stupid. But, marijuana is hard to quit so, you can't expect me or someone else to quit instantly. Weed can also, be good and bad however, it just has to be used in the right way probably. Anyway, addiction isn't a good thing and I hope people overcome their addictions. Idk if I can.

Which yes, however this is true with any mind altering substances such as alcohol, psychedelics, amphetamines (which is addressed in this conversation).
    You're neglecting the vast amount of people who use Marijuana and lead perfectly successful lives.

      But how do we know their brains are not being hurt at all? Just because someone has money doesn’t mean they aren’t hurting themselves. They never said all people who use weed are broke. You can also argue that money is not the only thing for a successful life. There is a spiritual side to success, how someone feels inside due to their current choices can often be more important as the rich people are among the highest suicide groups. We need real science showing if THCs effects on the hippocampus and amygdala are permanent or not and if CBD if used along side THC can stop these brain regions from the shrinking that occurs from THC.

Smoke flower between 12-18% thc much cheaper more mellow high and you’re still in control. It affects everyone differently I sense a bit of propaganda here. As far as edibles or oils or concentrates I stay completely away from those. Only strictly tiny low thc joints and if you wanna be on a healthier level just make tea out of it.
