I love how CDPR always takes the basics laid down by Sapkowski and adds to them to make something both amazing and faithful to the source. I also love how after CDPR has done that, Netflix looks at the beautiful world they and Sapkowski have created, decide “nah, we can do better”, proceed to make complete and utter dog shit, and then demand everyone applaud them for it.
Amazingly deep info with lore I haven't even scraped the surface of in my years of being interested in this fantasy world. A great video! And Great narration. Thanks for the content!
16:23 Lol, Ten years old, think he's already a man XD Can say with certainty that if Cosimo planned to create a superior kind of humans, he failed spectacularly. Though he did succeed with the Witchers but i don't believe it was worth all that horror. Very good video, well detailed.
10:45 Did they really have that much problems getting apprentices ? The story of Nimue let me think that peoples don't need to be a Source to become a mage though a affinity with magic is required. Heck, even the story of Yennefer let think she wasn't a Source herself. I wonder how old was Ortolan ? Guess Kaer Seren would be perfect as a dungeon for rpg tabletop TW XD
What do you think about the way the Witcher universe is being developed by CD Projekt Red?
So far they've done a phenomenal job so I hope we get more peak content from them

A far better origin story for the Witchers than whatever Netflix tried to write, that's for sure.
Given how incredibly vague and contradictory the lore is I'm doubly impressed you managed to get this video made. It was interesting too.
Well done! Can't wait for the next video to hear more about the story, especially the fracture!
Thank you for this entertaining video. I love to see the passion for this awsome universe. Exciting story and very entertaining video. Keep it up!

You just inspired me to make a fanfic exploring the age old past before the Witchers came to be. Thanks
