That's f*ckin' hilarious . . . apparently. It's never long before the first remarks of "it's gonna explode cos petrol or diesel or something , I dunno". Anyway , good to know that there was an educated and mentally stable set of characters close at hand to reliably state the flipin' obvious. Representing . . . not quite sure who or what but representing !
Diesel fuel doesn't explode - instead, it burns. The risk of components such as glass shattering, or inhalation of free radicals from the toxic smoke, are MUCH more serious hazards. I'm sorry that I watched this video if I'm being honest...the people from the (I'm guessing) dentist surgery came across as not very empathic people, given the situation. Dentistry IS inherently a form of mutilation which cuts into gums, applies harsh chemicals, drills into enamel etc. - hence, it invariably follows, that those who work within such an environment, will be inclined to behave reflectively, based upon this set of principles. People may have lost sentimental material possessions if they had to evacuate the bus hastily, and/or may have been traumatized by the event itself. There is NOTHING to laugh about. Yesterday, I needed to swerve to avoid running over a teddy bear (as I call them - though strictly speaking, it was a non-specific soft toy). Evidently, a very young child had lost it/dropped it out of a moving vehicle. At no point in time did I feel the sense that I wanted to distance my feelings about it by laughing or in any way distracting myself from it - it was one of those things that is reflected upon *silently* - something completely innocuous that, really, shouldn't be entertained, for it would have spoiled my feelings for the child who lost it. I really hope they were able to get it back - maybe with hindsight, I should have picked it up, and reported it as missing to the police.
@@trunciaross1622 A fire engine can be seen arriving at 03:20 so the response time was probably under 5 minutes. That's a good response time. Brixton fire station is 1.6 miles and the journey to this location is through at least 12 sets of traffic lights (most might be on red). The fire brigade can't drive full speed through heavy traffic or red traffic lights.
What is wrong with traffic still going by? I sure as hell would not want to drive close to this; so many things can blow up. Same for taking video; use the zoom instead of using your body to get a closer view.
If you were on that road wanting to get to where ever it is you wanted to get to, you would take the risk of passing by for the 3 seconds it would take you. To be honest I've seen cars 100 per cent fully alight that didn't explode, Hollywood has us fooled.
Thanks for making the video it was good so I can watch the video
I am gonna get a hgv and buslicecne
Rest in peace HV4. (IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT HV4 IS ITS THE BUS CODE FOR EXAMPLE BUS ROUTE 279 HAS T231 THEY HAVE IT ON EACH MODEL)
@Thomas Gilbey gaming and trainspotting yh same thing tbh fleet code bus code
Wait, I Thought HV4 Caught Fire Elsewhere
It's truly amazing how many people think there is a fire appliance (or a police car) lurking around every corner just waiting to spring into action.
This bus is now being used as a parts bus in a garage
They had it back out the next day once they got some filler on it and some T cut. You wouldn't k ow it had been on fire

Wow that got dangerous real quick .
Wow, that's unusual. . . A NHS dentist!
My friend dog watching it as he wants a career in fire service
This is what happens when you smoke on a bus
the reason the bus went fire was because the engine on the bus overheated causing it to go on fire, not cos people were smoking
Someone smoking in the engine compartment?
Anyone got a phone to call the fire brigade on as I'm filming with mine.😁
Hmmm...they were already called by the driver...took them a while to arrive...lol

Classic people always gonna record but never call whatever Emergency Number they have.

@@James.N-Buses47 The citizens should still call the fire brigade, you might not be aware the LFB has already been called

I've seen a video of a bus tyre blowing out the side in a burst of flames , sure do not want that to happen with traffic around it
