I really enjoyed B&W intro. B&W photography instills a mood and a sense of nostalgia, that color filming can not duplicate. I love color photography, but it was nice to see something done well in B&W. Great video! ROCK ON!!!
Always been fascinated by the Pine Barrens from the time I was a child but never explored there. Love the wetlands and appreciate being able to see through your lens. Thanks, my friend.
It's a very special place, both in look and feel, and also some unique flora and fauna. I'm looking forward to filming more locations around there in the future. Very underrated ecosystem.
I appreciate your kind comments so much, Kate. They really help me to keep going and pushing myself to try and create better and better content. Thanks for that🙂
Grew up in the pine barrens, such a unique and beautiful place from the pigmy pines to the tea colored water. Great fishing and helping down there. Sure do miss it.
I agree, a truly fascinating and underappreciated region, from the history to the ecology and everything else. I was able to produce a video on the pygmy pines at west pine plains - I think one of the only of it's kind, but I will be returning to the region many more times in the future for more explores and documentation.
BEAUTIFUL HIKE MAN. THANKS FOR POSTING. ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE PLACES IN THE WORLD. USE TO LOOK FOR SNAKES BACK IN THE LATE 70'S AND 80'S THERE. NO LONGER POSSIBLE, BUT STILL ADMIRE THE BEAUTY AND BREATH TAKING TOPOGRAPHY AND VISTAS. WISH I COULD HAVE TRAVERSED AS DEEP AS YOU DID. IT'S BRILLIANT.
Yes I have done the Mt misery trail twice, but it's been a number of years. I will hopefully get around to doing a video on there eventually. There are actually a number of places in the pines I'm looking forward to checking out still. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. And thankyou for taking the time to leave a comment, I truly appreciate that!

I'm a big fan of black and white myself. I have thought of doing an entire film in black and white as a kind of experimental film.

I needed a little beauty and peace, so I looked for one of your videos. You really are an artist, Gator.
