I just bought my first Chevrolet ever in my near 70 years of Iife and bought a new 2023 Traverse LT Cloth with the tow package. We bought it to use at our Lake Cabin to tow our boats and Kayaks around. Also for the AWD going back and forth from Florida as Snowbird’s. The storage is amazing with all of the stuff we can haul around. Almost as good as our Chrysler Pacifica. Chevrolet was not even on our radar. But as we looked at everything with a 5,000 lbs towing capacity availability, and what we were willing to spend. The best way to say it is the Chevrolet Traverse checked all of the boxes. The only brand we didn’t consider was a Ford product. Been there and ain’t getting burned the 4th time. We drove to to our cabin yesterday a 2 hour 114 mile drive. The trip computer said 26.6 mpg and we were loaded heavy with cabin season opening stuff. It drives like a dream and totally effortless. The engine & transmission are extremely smooth and quite. We hardly feel it shift. The seats are extremely comfortable. The stock non premium stereo system was surprisingly good and actually way way better than I ever expected. Sounds better than our 2015 Buick Verano 9 speaker Bose System. We really thought we wanted a 2023 Honda Pilot and we did drive one. The Traverse was faster, quicker, quieter, way more spacious and comfortable. Like Said a Chevrolet Traverse was not even on our radar. We went to the Minneapolis Auto Show on April 1 and was offered a $50.00 Target Gift Card to test drive a Traverse. Within 4 days we had the paperwork to bring to. Chevrolet dealership . The Wife was all over that. If it was not for that test drive we would’ve not looked at the Traverse. I must say so far I am glad we did. The Dealer experience was also amazing. Absolutely Zero Sales Pressure.
If we ordered a Honda Pilot we were told it would not be in until January 2024. We needed a vehicle now. We looked at the Nissan Pathfinder, Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Subaru Accent, Buick Enclave. Note the Kia & Hyundai were amazingly beautiful and featured rich but the 5,000 lbs in the fine print is only if the trailer that is being towed has trailer brakes. Otherwise 1,650 lbs towing capacity. Non of our trailers have brakes. So that killed those two brands. Like I said the Traverse checked all of the boxes to fit our needs.

Keep up with the oil changes and transmission changes. Drain and fill the transmission once every 3 years or 30kmiles. Do not flush

@@ceciliaabdalla4954 Thank You I have been on top of the service with all of our vehicles. Is there a bad experience you have had with a Chevy Traverse regarding Engine & Transmission?

No bad experience yet. Only 5,500 miles so far. But at Idle or slow speed it has a weird fan sound. Of course dealerships says it normal. But that’s all. We have a big trip coming up in the next 10 days. We are driving from Northern Wisconsin to the Florida Panhandle. Hopefully all will be OK.

Thanks for the review. I ordered an LT Cloth with that same interior colour in January. Can't wait for it to come in. Canadian Spec comes with all of the "Comfort and Convenience" as standard, plus standard 4WD. Only added the 360° camera. Great review.

I’m in Northwestern Wisconsin. I see Traverse’s everywhere. They are as common as minivans on the roads around here.

Good video but never buy this car unless it is a 2018 RS the one year they had the 2.0 4CYL the 3.6 engine in this car is the worst engine ever made with so many timing chain issues that bomb the engine
