Originally tried for GH Hybrid but Toyota’s allocation process was, long story short, a complete pain… was told it could take a year to get the vehicle I actually wanted. Decided not to wait for GH and proceeded with ordering at 2025 Traverse RS after market research and a test drive. Also liked Traverse more than Pilot, Atlas, Palisade, and Telluride. I felt like the only thing I was losing out on with the Traverse was the hybrid aspect but I got over point pretty quickly with all the other positives it delivers.
We have the 25 Acadia Denali and are really liking it. It rides smoothly, gets good gas mileage and the interior is luxurious. We would like to see a hybrid option though which would take it to the next level.
I’ve been driving my 2024 RS for 6 months and very much enjoy everything it has to offer me. Although I like a HUD I think giving me one takes away from the very attractive screen behind my steering wheel. It’s my first time with Supercruse and quite enjoy it
Just signed a deal to trade my 2021 Mazda 6 for a 2025 Traverse LT with Super Cruise, the Sun and Wheel Package with the 20 inch wheels and leather. Couldn’t be happier.
The rear lift gate will open higher. You have to set the height to your desired height Also you said there is no power lowering or locking in your video while at the same time you ran your hand right across the button that lowers and locks the gate.
I'm pretty sure you can push that rear lift hatch a little higher with your hand, similar to the way you can do the same with the rear engine lift trunk lid on the C8 Corvette.
Thank you for this nice video! I have a question: have you tested Jeep Grand Cherokee altitude black edition? from your perspective: the Z71 trim of traverse vs.The Jeep?? Which one do you recommend??
That folding seat issue made my head spin. I mean wtf. How can their mechanical team be so bad? Also just by looking at 3rd row makes me feel claustrophobic.
Wanted to get one but no money down lease on Rs at over a grand a month when i can get a Kia telluride similar priced car for 670 a month just shows how crappy lease programs are for gm… even local dealer said they are junk unless u want ev lease …
At the 16 minute mart the reviewer mentions there is not a single feature missing on the traverse. That’s completely false. MOST of its competitors have auto brake hold. The traverse and Acadia don’t. You have to go to an enclave Avenir or Cadillac to get that feature. This is a huge miss. I understand once again GM needs to have something to differentiate brands. But when you wanna compete with the palisade and highlander and pilot and explorer and and and…they all have auto hold as standard and have for years now!😂
Toyota highlander, Honda pilot, Hyundai palisade are my favorite cars as of right now. This new chevy not worth with 4cyl engine turbo is worst than before.
Americans are so spoiled they have to move a few seats here and there. What have we become..... lol Nice looking ride but it's still a Chevy. It def won't hit 100k without some bs.
,Ehhh….hard pass! It just didn’t have the right look that I’d like. The more I look at it, I just rather walk away from as not for me. “Funky and weird,” is how I’d describe this new traverse.
I am assuming in the next couple years there will be a hybrid. In my 2024, I have gotten as much as 28.2 mpg on the highway. I feel that Chevrolet needs to improve their interior materials. So that being said, I do think every model is overpriced. My Z71 stickered at $51K. In my opinion it should be about $10K cheaper. Same for the High Country and the RS.
Special thanks to our Patreons for their support of the channel! Traverse or Acadia or Grand Highlander?
@ anything you’d take over the GMs?

@@dwnshftit actually goes 0 to 60 in around 7 seconds
Just watching you folding and unfolding that second and third row made my blood pressure rise.
@@TheCXTKRS1 lolololol
Honestly how often would you even fold'em ..
That was truly amazing. Those small problems just go to show the rest of the vehicle is probably also not very well sorted out.

nice!
Can we at least get a 3.0L turbo on such a large SUV, especially for the price they are asking.

Very helpful review.

If Chevy starts giving the hybrid option I'll buy it for my Grandmother who lives with me.
It's funny I have the 2019 traverse and have the same problem with the 3rd row.
Gaaaahhhhh
Yes, I can say the MPG is completely wrong. In my 2024 traverse z71, I got between 27 or 28 mpg.
2024 Chevy Traverse Z71
I didn't like the red accent on doors and dash..
Especially when the color of the car is not Red.
That makes sense

Imagine what other parts of the vehicle are not well sorted out.
I was going to get this suv until I saw that. So glad I watched this video.
Well, maybe they should come up with 2.0 duramax.
Don’t care about the hybrid I want the V6

Hi my 2022 Acadia At4 has the brake hill hold
@ brake hill hold is a completely different feature than brake hold.
The pipes on the left are not straight.
what car are you testing thursday?
AMG gt63 4 door💪
Or should I drop the Silverado EV?
@@dwnshft silverado ev. you did amg gt63 many times

This is Slower Than a Ford Explorer ST
correct
@dwnshft Thanks
A lot of sports cars are slower than the Ford Explorer ST
And? You know the speed limit is usually 70 right? This can go that. Who’s drag racing a family hauler???
This dude is whining about every little thing is embarrassing as hell for men.
