Wishing you and your family all the best for Christmas and the New Year ❤❤
Thank you very much. It was a nice break!
I hope your 2025 is off to a brilliant start!
The more I fail, the more I learn! Challenging and informative quizzes - thank you. 😊
Brilliant, I am glad you are enjoying and learning from these quizzes :)
4 only this time ..another great quiz enjoyed it as usual thanks
Five again Liam. Amazed there are so many species of hedgehog. Thanks again for the quiz. Hope you have a great Christmas.
Another consistent 5/8 for me with 2 educated guesses right and a wrong guess on the hedgehogs. I got the skull wrong again although I did think Gull. The great Bustard was reintroduced to the UK near to where I live, and know well, and was newsworthy enough to read all about, 20 Years ago. I didn't know how bad it was with the turtle doves, I only know I haven't seen any to photograph, and guessed completely wrong. Another great quiz - you're doing an excellent job in wildlife education in a fun and interesting manner.
Thankyou. Its good to learn even if i get em wrong, getting the answers at the end is enjoyable. Many Happys to you and yours.
Only 2 correct but learning lots and enjoying myself. Thanks Liam and Merry Christmas to you and yours
5 for me again. Pleased to have aced with the scull this week. Cheers Liam hope you have a great yule
3 . Challenging questions but I suppose that's the idea. Enjoyed as usual. Thanks.
Only 2 this week.😢 Just shows I have a lot to learn. Thanks for another entertaining quiz and season's greetings!
Cheers Liam. Did it with my Dad and we both got 4. Lovely quiz cheers
I came into this blind having never seen your channel before! I confidentially predicted 100% pass .. I got the first 2 correct ...Subbing now
Brilliant Liam, thanks for the quiz, and all the best to you and your family over Christmas and the new year
Love this lads videos, I learn so much of what I love.
4/8 this time (3/8 last quiz) I think it’s because it’s Christmas and I’ve had a baileys! Very Merry & a Happy Christmas to you, yours and all here that love your videos!
I'm new here so definitely have a lot to learn and most probably got most of my answers wrong but I enjoyed trying anyway 😁 Haven't watched the entire video yet but whilst I was posting my answers just wanted to say how nice and relaxing I find the videos of yours I've watched so far! Hope you had a nice Christmas and the new year brings lots of happiness. Keep doing what you're doing 😁

Thank you, I hope you had a good'un and that your 2025 has started well :)
4/8 great video.
Only 4 this week Liam, but I did learn things.
Happy Christmas to you and your family and a healthy new year.
Thats the whole idea Pete. Thanks for taking part, I hope your 2025 is off to a great start.
thanks for a great year of learning
Flippin' 'eck! I'm getting worse at these quizzes! Only 3 out of 8 this week. Kicking myself on the skull, especially as it's one of my favourite species, and I forgot about those bulky birds on Salisbury Plain. Drat and double drat! Merry Christmas mate! 👍🎄👍
Hi thank you for another great quiz, probably sounds odd but I think I actually enjoy finding out how much I don’t know (each one wrong is a new fact found out) have a good Christmas & a great new year.👍☃️😎
Well, I managed to get 4 this week, which is a 100% improvement on last weeks effort 🙂. Thank you for the quiz, it's both entertaining & informative. Merry Christmas & best wishes for next year to anyone who happens to read this.
Thank you Steve! I am glad you enjoyed this quiz and learn from them as you go- great job on doubling your score!
I hope your 2025 is off to a brilliant start.
Brilliant 👏 👌🥰
Cheers Paul. I hope your first week and a bit of 2025 has been good!
Love these videos, thank you so much for taking the time to make them. 5out of 8, so I’ve learnt something and that’s great 😃 I hope that you and your lovely family had a smashing Christmas and wish you all happiness and health in the new year xx😊
Got more right this time, last time 2 this this 3 out of ten. I shall have to brush up. Great video.
4/8 better than last time ! Merry Christmas and thank you Liam !!!
Well done, 3/8 for me. Thought this was a hard one.
Well done both of you. Thanks for taking part and I hope your 2025 is off to a great start!
Thanks for another intriguing quiz - only 3 for me this time, must do better! Wishing you and your family a lovely Christmas and a happy new year 💚
My best score so far, 7 out of 8. Just the hedgehog question that tripped me up. Merry Christmas.
Love it...! 🎄❄☃🍻
Great quiz. Merry Christmas to you too ❤
Thank you, I hope you had a good one!
Hello Liam I got 4/8 this time. I would like to wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. Love your channel and I am enjoying the quizzes. Take care Love from Australia ❤❤️ 🎄✨
4 this time Liam, the first 4 questions i got right. Had herring gull for question 5. Thanks for the quizzes 😊
Cheers Liam, very entertaining production 🤩
4/8 - improving! Most impressed with myself!
Love these informative quizzes (alarming info. reference Turtle Dove decline....😢).
Merry Christmas and Frohe Weihnachten from Germany!
Fun Quiz! Only 6/8 this week -- I thought the skull was a herring gull and also forgot about the great bustard. Birds are a weaker wildlife area for me. Luckily, I watched another YT video about British reindeer yesterday and the turtle dove decline fact was on TV recently. Without the multi-choice I'd only have got 4.
Five correct. Not bad for a layman.
Not bad for anyone, well done and thanks for taking part.
Great festive challenge Liam. Only scored 4 this time, but learnt 4 new wildlife facts👍 Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year. Look forward to seeing more on your channel, really appreciate the work you put in.
A measly 4/8 this week for me. Learnt some new facts though again.
Thanks again Liam for another great quiz. This time I managed 5 out of 8. The skull question i thought it was a Herring gull. Merry Christmas to you and your Family. Hope for more of the same in 2025 thanks.
Oh dear, only two right this week! Robins and Reindeers were my correct answers and I was happy to at least think the skull was a gull.
Very saddened to hear how badly the Turtle Doves are declining.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy Christmas.
4/8 which is considerably better than I thought I would do 😊
Only got two questions right, but I've learned eight other facts. Cheers Liam, and have a good festive period.
5 correct answers here ,some good guesses! I did think maybe a heron was heavier than a swan hence the right answer for wrong reason. lovely quiz ,learnt something. happy christmas to you. keep up the lovely videos ,they are just right for me!
Thanks Ellen! I hope you had a great Christmas and that your 2025 is off to a brilliant start.
Grey herons are surprisingly light, only around a 5th of the size of a mute swan.
Four .... and only then due to the most depressing figure for Turtledoves. I had no idea the hedgehog family was that large!
Merry 🎄 Crimblemas to you and yours.
Enjoyed learning something new thanks hope u all have a good time ❤
Five for me this time, better, but not a personal best yet haha! Happy Christmas and thank you for doing these, they are fun! :)
Belated Happy Christmas Lucy, I hope yours was nice and that 2025 has got off to a great start.
5 out of 8 is a good score and this was probably the hardest quiz yet. Thanks for taking part and see you next time.
Thank you and a lovely family Christmas to you too. 🎉
Thank you, I hope your 2025 is off to a great start.
5/8, I enjoy your quiz & always learn something new, thanks. I especially like the skull challenge, only right once so far!! Enjoy Xmas & look forward to more quizzes Jill x
5 right love it
Only 3.....pretty gutted! 😢
Have a lovely Christmas with your little one Liam. Best wishes
Dont be gutted about getting 3 out of 8, that means you learnt 5 new things (hopefully). Thank you, it was a nice break but now I have a lot of catching up to do, both here on youtube and in my actual job. I hope your 2025 is off to a great start!
Great quiz.
6/8. Hedgehogs and reindeer were my downfall. I thought reindeer would have died out around the end of the ice age.
Have a good Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year.
Love these quizzes. Did crap this week with only 3 correct. Finally got the skull question right though. lol.
5 right this time . Thought the skull was a Gannet. Keep up with the good work.
wahey! I got 3 this time, an improvement on last week! Merry Christmas Liam and a happy new year
Great fun as ever and always something new to learn! This means I got some wrong! 5/8. Getting 5.6 & 7 wrong! Merry Christmas Liam and all the best for 2025.
Enjoy it once again, just got five right this time from John and cranwell
Cheers John and Cranwell. I hope you have had a good xmas and that your start to 2025 has gone well.
Only 3 . Devastated? LOved it . We'll all be here .Have a happy and peaceful Christmas season to everybody.
Dont be devastated, that means you hopefully learnt a few new things and thats the whole idea of these quizzes. Thanks for taking part.
I hope your xmas was great and that 2025 is off to a brilliant start!
4/10 Liam Thanks for the video.
7.5 got gull but not fulmar great quiz again Merry Christmas ❤❤
I got 6 rathe by luck, thank you for the vlog. Best wishes to you and your family for Christmas and the New Year 🎉🎉
Well done Yvonne, I hope you had a great christmas and that your 2025 is off to a brilliant start!
Have a good Christmas and new year Liam 😀👍 I got 4 out of 8 correct this week , the ones I got wrong were 1, 2, 7 & 8
50% but very therapeutic to watch
Well done, I am glad you enjoyed it and hopefully that means you learnt 50% of the facts included.
6/8
Never heard of a Falmer (5)
Didn't realise turtle doves were almost extinct in UK
Remember seeing them as a child but thought because I moved to the coast was why I didn't see them since.
Now in Cheltenham so never really thought about it.
Have a great Christmas with the family Liam ❤❤
Thank you for your hard work throughout the year.
That's 'fulmar' ... which I only remember from one doing the breed's notorious projectile vomit trick on someone trying to climb the seastack "The Old Man Of Hoy" more moons ago than I care to recall!
Falmer is the third station out of Brighton on the East Coastway line to Lewes and the location of the Amex Cimmunity Stadium. 🙂
Well done Paul. For the most part, here in norfolk at least, turtle doves are now restricted to coastal habitats where there is still enough food for them. They rely on a couple of plant species to feed their young which dont like disturbed habitats- usually this means grazing marshland near to the coast where no-one would bother ploughing the fields.
I had a great Christmas and am now working my way to catch up on youtube and in my actual job. I hope your 2025 is off to a great start!
Unfortunately the only one I got right was the turtle dove. I saw 2 around 5 years ago "1st ever" here in the east of England during the "beast from the east" and I'm 60 ! Great vids, keep up the good work
5/8 this week. got the first four and the last one right.

Only 3/8 this time.
Correct answers to 1, 4, & 6.
I thought the skull might have been that of the Herring Gull.
Thanks Liam, these quizzes are fun.
Well done (I see you in the comments every time but dont know your actual name)
Thanks for taking part and I hope your 2025 is off to a great start!

I only got a disappointing 3 right. Good quiz though. Happy Christmas!
6 correct!
Brilliant, well done!
I’m getting progressively worse 😂 with 3 this time
Or you are learning progressively more from these quizzes :) Thanks for taking part Andrew and I hope your 2025 is off to a good start!
Not easy this week! 4/8. Maybe deserve 1/2 a point for saying “looks like a small albatross”! Watched a video on here last week with someone trying to find a turtle dove (cookie or something?) Such a shame, gorgeous birds. Makes me think about the collared dove… used to be all over the place here (Fife,Scotland) when I was growing up, now it’s just wood pigeons I see
1 - A, 2 - False, 3 - B! , 4 - False, 5 - Albatross, 6 - C, 7 - True, 8 - C 🥴 6/8! Have a great Christmas Liam , Mrs Liam and little Reeva ☺️👍💝🎄
Beautiful video..
Merry Christmas 🎉🎉🎉 and Happy New year 2025
Merry Christmas to you and your family, hope it’s a great one with the newest member 🎉. I had a lucky guess with a couple, but got the skull wrong, I thought Gannet, so not far off, I should have noticed the gap for ejecting the foul liquid. Pleased to have got 7 right 🥳
4/8 gutted I got the sea trout question wrong, hmm what is a sea trout? different from the one in Australia, what we (New Zealand) call a Kahawai, a pelagic species , great fighter and yummy smoked with Manuka and with a cold beer of course. Merry Christmas all! Stay safe enjoy the season. kiwi.
i do love the elton john Christmas look, though not quite sure you have the crazy streak to pull it off, did it scare your daughter, or make her laugh. i got 6 this week hope voted b for turtle doves, and i got gull for the skull
Haha, I do have a bit of a crazy streak, although most of that was burnt out during Uni. My daughter didnt see, but im sure she would have found it funny, I cant do anything in this house without her laughing at me these days. Hope your start to 2025 has been good :)
Only 3 answered correctly this week Q. 2, 3, and 4 and scored a close with Gull for 5.
5/8 this week. The not gull skull threw me off 😂
Score (3/8). Not too disappointed.Another great selection of questions. Merry Christmas Liam and to all supporters of this channel.
1) (A), 2) TRUE, 3) (b), 4) False, 5) Sea Eagle, 6) b, 7) True, 8) 75% decline. (Not hopeful!!)
Only 4/8 this week,I never knew there were any Great Bustards left in the uk,,would like to see some but don't know where to find them. I got the skull question wrong again thought it was a sea bird but chose the Herring Gull. Was shocked to learn that the turtle dove numbers were so low.its such a shame, hope they can recover in the coming years.Merry Christmas to you and your family Liam. Thanks for another enjoyable quiz. Also Merry Christmas to everyone who takes part in the quiz.Take Care,Happy Days!😃😀😄
Managed six with a guess (hedgehogs!). Said gull for the Fulmar, and if I saw one flying I would still think it a gull. As for the Great Bustard, well we haven't had them in the UK for most of my life and except for film, I have never come close to seeing one, so I don't too feel bad about getting that wrong 😄!
4 right this week I did think the skull was a seagull!!!
5 right this time getting better😂
Five correct getting worse 😂 got swan, skull and hedgehog wrong. Happy Christmas paul
Thanks Paul, it was a nice break. I hope your 2025 is off to a good start.
This quiz was a bit trickier than those before it so dont worry if you got a slightly lower score, that just means you learnt more from watching and taking part. Cheers
Some 30 years ago, I paid my fee then hiked up the hill to see those Reindeer in the Cairngorms. A tad pointless as it was in September and Santa was nowhere to be seen. _I didn't even get a refund!_ 🤔😲 😅🤣😂
Me - _"Where's Santa then?"_
Staff - _"He doesn't live here."_
Me - _"But you've got Reindeer."_
Staff - _"....................!!??"_
You certainly _"Bustard"_ me for Q7 and the Mute Swan. Do you know if Bustards have been reintroduced? 😅🤣😂
Ah! I just answered my own question. They were reintroduced back in 2004. My Bird book that I had when I was a young teenager, back in the mid 1970's, didn't have Great Bustards in it. So the Mute Swan wa the heaviest back then. _So I'll claim 1/2 a point. Though I might need to look into getting a more modern book._ 🤔😲🥴
As for those poor Turtle Doves. They've got to migrate past France and Spain and those lot will eat anything. Especially the French. Flying. Hopping. Curled up in its shell. All fair game to them.
EDIT
PS - Have a good Xmas to mate ☺👍
Thought that was a hard one got the first 4 right. More hedgehog species than I thought.
Merry Christmas Liam to u and ur family 🎅🎉🎄🎊⛄
I got my usual 4 correct but I will give myself a half for the skull because I couldn't think of the name of Fulmar and put Petrel instead. I also knew that the re-introduced Bustard is the heaviest flying bird but couldn't remember it's name. I guessed the Hedgehog question correctly too but then changed my mind. So, a slight improvement. 😉
Q8 another tough on not sure so going 80 %
6 . I haven't got any skull questions right yet.😂
Here are may answers. 1. A (Grey Partridge); 2. False; 3. 8000 years I think (honestly didn't know they were ever native to the UK); 4. False - don't lose their colouring in winter, just more likely to visit gardens looking for food; 5. It's a bird, think it might be some kind of Petrel, but don't know which one; 6. I'll take a guess at C, since there always seem to be more than I expect with these questions; 7. False, I think the Great Bustard is heavier; 8. I'll guess 75% (hopefully).
5 out of 8 for the third time running (can I be cheeky and ask for half a point for Q5? 🤣). The answer to Q8 shocked and saddened me.
Well done Bob- you got most of them right and explained why you were going for each answer- I will definitely give you a half point for question 5 as that was very close and I suspect a lot of the petrel skull are almost indistinguishable from one another without a detailed view.
Thanks for taking part and I hope your 2025 is off to a brilliant start!
I only got 1 this time! I know nothing 😂. Happy Christmas.
At least you are watching, taking part and learning as you go. I hope you had a good xmas.
@@AShotOfWildlife thanks Liam, yes had a really nice Christmas. I bet you enjoyed yours too with the new addition to the family? My score is doubly embarrassing since I have an undergraduate degree in conservation land management (though from quite some time ago, I'm more focussed on climate science these days). I'm blaming it on those being particularly difficult questions😊
@jonm7272 yes, it was great with the baby but busy. I'm glad some calmness has returned to life after the festivities. Cheers
Happy christmas
So 5 on your Christmas quiz, got the hedgehog wrong the skull wrong again, although I knew it was off a petrel but didn’t get fulmar and the mute swan wrong, as I completely forgot the great bustard 😢
I’m new to your channel so I’m just working my way back through your quizzes
Well done and welcome to the channel. I am going to go and try to find/film a great bustard at some point this year so keep an eye out for that. Cheers
@ that would be great I’ve never seen one in the wild. I now live in Fuerteventura where we have the Houbara bustard and sadly I’ve not managed to see one of those either although I do see on a regular basis Stone Curlews and spoonbills
I might have a Great Bustard for Xmas this year instead of my usual turkey, seeing as one would probably last me until easter. 🤣
4/8
Well done Des! 4 right answers and hopefully 4 new facts learnt!
