Another consistent 5/8 for me with 2 educated guesses right and a wrong guess on the hedgehogs. I got the skull wrong again although I did think Gull. The great Bustard was reintroduced to the UK near to where I live, and know well, and was newsworthy enough to read all about, 20 Years ago. I didn't know how bad it was with the turtle doves, I only know I haven't seen any to photograph, and guessed completely wrong. Another great quiz - you're doing an excellent job in wildlife education in a fun and interesting manner.
Well, I managed to get 4 this week, which is a 100% improvement on last weeks effort 🙂. Thank you for the quiz, it's both entertaining & informative. Merry Christmas & best wishes for next year to anyone who happens to read this.
5/8, I enjoy your quiz & always learn something new, thanks. I especially like the skull challenge, only right once so far!! Enjoy Xmas & look forward to more quizzes Jill x
5 correct answers here ,some good guesses! I did think maybe a heron was heavier than a swan hence the right answer for wrong reason. lovely quiz ,learnt something. happy christmas to you. keep up the lovely videos ,they are just right for me!
6/8 Never heard of a Falmer (5) Didn't realise turtle doves were almost extinct in UK Remember seeing them as a child but thought because I moved to the coast was why I didn't see them since. Now in Cheltenham so never really thought about it. Have a great Christmas with the family Liam ❤❤ Thank you for your hard work throughout the year.
Great festive challenge Liam. Only scored 4 this time, but learnt 4 new wildlife facts👍 Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year. Look forward to seeing more on your channel, really appreciate the work you put in.
Four .... and only then due to the most depressing figure for Turtledoves. I had no idea the hedgehog family was that large! Merry 🎄 Crimblemas to you and yours.
Here are may answers. 1. A (Grey Partridge); 2. False; 3. 8000 years I think (honestly didn't know they were ever native to the UK); 4. False - don't lose their colouring in winter, just more likely to visit gardens looking for food; 5. It's a bird, think it might be some kind of Petrel, but don't know which one; 6. I'll take a guess at C, since there always seem to be more than I expect with these questions; 7. False, I think the Great Bustard is heavier; 8. I'll guess 75% (hopefully). 5 out of 8 for the third time running (can I be cheeky and ask for half a point for Q5? 🤣). The answer to Q8 shocked and saddened me.
Oh dear, only two right this week! Robins and Reindeers were my correct answers and I was happy to at least think the skull was a gull. Very saddened to hear how badly the Turtle Doves are declining. Wishing you and your family a very Happy Christmas.
4/8 - improving! Most impressed with myself! Love these informative quizzes (alarming info. reference Turtle Dove decline....😢). Merry Christmas and Frohe Weihnachten from Germany!
Fun Quiz! Only 6/8 this week -- I thought the skull was a herring gull and also forgot about the great bustard. Birds are a weaker wildlife area for me. Luckily, I watched another YT video about British reindeer yesterday and the turtle dove decline fact was on TV recently. Without the multi-choice I'd only have got 4.
Great quiz. 6/8. Hedgehogs and reindeer were my downfall. I thought reindeer would have died out around the end of the ice age. Have a good Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year.
Hello Liam I got 4/8 this time. I would like to wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. Love your channel and I am enjoying the quizzes. Take care Love from Australia ❤❤️ 🎄✨
Thanks again Liam for another great quiz. This time I managed 5 out of 8. The skull question i thought it was a Herring gull. Merry Christmas to you and your Family. Hope for more of the same in 2025 thanks.
Great fun as ever and always something new to learn! This means I got some wrong! 5/8. Getting 5.6 & 7 wrong! Merry Christmas Liam and all the best for 2025.
Not easy this week! 4/8. Maybe deserve 1/2 a point for saying “looks like a small albatross”! Watched a video on here last week with someone trying to find a turtle dove (cookie or something?) Such a shame, gorgeous birds. Makes me think about the collared dove… used to be all over the place here (Fife,Scotland) when I was growing up, now it’s just wood pigeons I see
Some 30 years ago, I paid my fee then hiked up the hill to see those Reindeer in the Cairngorms. A tad pointless as it was in September and Santa was nowhere to be seen. _I didn't even get a refund!_ 🤔😲 😅🤣😂 Me - _"Where's Santa then?"_ Staff - _"He doesn't live here."_ Me - _"But you've got Reindeer."_ Staff - _"....................!!??"_ You certainly _"Bustard"_ me for Q7 and the Mute Swan. Do you know if Bustards have been reintroduced? 😅🤣😂 Ah! I just answered my own question. They were reintroduced back in 2004. My Bird book that I had when I was a young teenager, back in the mid 1970's, didn't have Great Bustards in it. So the Mute Swan wa the heaviest back then. _So I'll claim 1/2 a point. Though I might need to look into getting a more modern book._ 🤔😲🥴 As for those poor Turtle Doves. They've got to migrate past France and Spain and those lot will eat anything. Especially the French. Flying. Hopping. Curled up in its shell. All fair game to them. EDIT PS - Have a good Xmas to mate ☺👍
i do love the elton john Christmas look, though not quite sure you have the crazy streak to pull it off, did it scare your daughter, or make her laugh. i got 6 this week hope voted b for turtle doves, and i got gull for the skull
Only 4/8 this week,I never knew there were any Great Bustards left in the uk,,would like to see some but don't know where to find them. I got the skull question wrong again thought it was a sea bird but chose the Herring Gull. Was shocked to learn that the turtle dove numbers were so low.its such a shame, hope they can recover in the coming years.Merry Christmas to you and your family Liam. Thanks for another enjoyable quiz. Also Merry Christmas to everyone who takes part in the quiz.Take Care,Happy Days!😃😀😄
Score (3/8). Not too disappointed.Another great selection of questions. Merry Christmas Liam and to all supporters of this channel. 1) (A), 2) TRUE, 3) (b), 4) False, 5) Sea Eagle, 6) b, 7) True, 8) 75% decline. (Not hopeful!!)
Managed six with a guess (hedgehogs!). Said gull for the Fulmar, and if I saw one flying I would still think it a gull. As for the Great Bustard, well we haven't had them in the UK for most of my life and except for film, I have never come close to seeing one, so I don't too feel bad about getting that wrong 😄!
As someone in my 70’s whose late husband was an avid nature lover it is becoming quite unbelievable how many different species have virtually disappeared since we were children. Wildflowers included especially. 😕
4/8 gutted I got the sea trout question wrong, hmm what is a sea trout? different from the one in Australia, what we (New Zealand) call a Kahawai, a pelagic species , great fighter and yummy smoked with Manuka and with a cold beer of course. Merry Christmas all! Stay safe enjoy the season. kiwi.
I got my usual 4 correct but I will give myself a half for the skull because I couldn't think of the name of Fulmar and put Petrel instead. I also knew that the re-introduced Bustard is the heaviest flying bird but couldn't remember it's name. I guessed the Hedgehog question correctly too but then changed my mind. So, a slight improvement. 😉
Merry Christmas to you and your family, hope it’s a great one with the newest member 🎉. I had a lucky guess with a couple, but got the skull wrong, I thought Gannet, so not far off, I should have noticed the gap for ejecting the foul liquid. Pleased to have got 7 right 🥳
My honest answers are: 1 a 2 true 3 800 4 false 5 Herring gull 6 9 7 true 8 99% A bit embarassing about q2 as I'm an angler. Didn't give the Fulmar a thought as I never see them where I live. Didn't give a thought to there being more than 1 species of hedgehog so went for the middle. Same again about the Great Bustard as these have only recently been reintroduced. Sadly I got the Turtle dove answer right, how long before extinction I wonder, hopefully never. Merry Christmas to you and your family Liam.
Wishing you and your family all the best for Christmas and the New Year ❤❤
My best score so far, 7 out of 8. Just the hedgehog question that tripped me up. Merry Christmas.
3 . Challenging questions but I suppose that's the idea. Enjoyed as usual. Thanks.
Well, I managed to get 4 this week, which is a 100% improvement on last weeks effort 🙂. Thank you for the quiz, it's both entertaining & informative. Merry Christmas & best wishes for next year to anyone who happens to read this.
Brilliant Liam, thanks for the quiz, and all the best to you and your family over Christmas and the new year

Thanks for another intriguing quiz - only 3 for me this time, must do better! Wishing you and your family a lovely Christmas and a happy new year 💚
Only 4 this week Liam, but I did learn things.
Happy Christmas to you and your family and a healthy new year.
Enjoy it once again, just got five right this time from John and cranwell
Only 3/8 this time.
Correct answers to 1, 4, & 6.
I thought the skull might have been that of the Herring Gull.
Thanks Liam, these quizzes are fun.
5/8, I enjoy your quiz & always learn something new, thanks. I especially like the skull challenge, only right once so far!! Enjoy Xmas & look forward to more quizzes Jill x

Five again Liam. Amazed there are so many species of hedgehog. Thanks again for the quiz. Hope you have a great Christmas.
Thank you and a lovely family Christmas to you too. 🎉
5 correct answers here ,some good guesses! I did think maybe a heron was heavier than a swan hence the right answer for wrong reason. lovely quiz ,learnt something. happy christmas to you. keep up the lovely videos ,they are just right for me!

Never heard of a Falmer (5)
Didn't realise turtle doves were almost extinct in UK

4/8 better than last time ! Merry Christmas and thank you Liam !!!
Well done, 3/8 for me. Thought this was a hard one.
Four .... and only then due to the most depressing figure for Turtledoves. I had no idea the hedgehog family was that large!

Have a lovely Christmas with your little one Liam. Best wishes
I’m getting progressively worse 😂 with 3 this time
Fun Quiz! Only 6/8 this week -- I thought the skull was a herring gull and also forgot about the great bustard. Birds are a weaker wildlife area for me. wahey! I got 3 this time, an improvement on last week! Merry Christmas Liam and a happy new year

Great quiz.

5/8 this week. The not gull skull threw me off 😂
Have a good Christmas and new year Liam 😀👍 I got 4 out of 8 correct this week , the ones I got wrong were 1, 2, 7 & 8

I got 6 rathe by luck, thank you for the vlog. Best wishes to you and your family for Christmas and the New Year 🎉🎉
I'm sure these quizzes would be great if I lived in the UK. Most questions are UK specific, so kind of irrelevant for a Norwegian.
I only got a disappointing 3 right. Good quiz though. Happy Christmas!
Thought that was a hard one got the first 4 right. More hedgehog species than I thought.
4 right this week I did think the skull was a seagull!!!
i do love the elton john Christmas look, though not quite sure you have the crazy streak to pull it off, did it scare your daughter, or make her laugh. i got 6 this week hope voted b for turtle doves, and i got gull for the skull
Only 3 answered correctly this week Q. 2, 3, and 4 and scored a close with Gull for 5.
Only 4/8 this week,I never knew there were any Great Bustards left in the uk,,would like to see some but don't know where to find them. 1) (A), 2) TRUE, 3) (b), 4) False, 5) Sea Eagle, 6) b, 7) True, 8) 75% decline. (Not hopeful!!)

I might have a Great Bustard for Xmas this year instead of my usual turkey, seeing as one would probably last me until easter. 🤣
4/8 gutted I got the sea trout question wrong, hmm what is a sea trout? different from the one in Australia, what we (New Zealand) call a Kahawai, a pelagic species , great fighter and yummy smoked with Manuka and with a cold beer of course. Merry Christmas all! Stay safe enjoy the season. kiwi.
Five correct getting worse 😂 got swan, skull and hedgehog wrong. Happy Christmas paul
Four, my worst ever. 😢 At least I got the fulmar.
Merry Christmas! 🎅
I scored 3 French hens 😂 Merry Christmas to Liam, his family and everyone else on this channel 🎄
I got my usual 4 correct but I will give myself a half for the skull because I couldn't think of the name of Fulmar and put Petrel instead. 3 out of 8 at least I am consistent 😊
6 correct for best score yet.... have a lovely Christmas everyone
Wishing you and your family a happy Christmas
Worse this week, got 4 wrong. However on the plus side I’ve learnt some new nature facts.
A poor four, got the hedgehog right but I was classing the echidna from oz, disappointed with four
I hate to admit it but I only got 3 right. I thought my knowladge of wild life was better than that. Even so I enjoyed the game
I only got 4. I did think the skull belonged to a gull, so close, but still wrong. This quiz was really hard!
Got 6 😂dam
4/8, better than my 3/8 last week.....i defy anyone to get the skull question right unless they guess lucky or are a zoologist
5 only today I went Herring Gull and I wasn’t sure if you can count the Great Bustards? Good challenge again 😂
