Your recordings will not sound as good unless you can match the room and monitoring with high end mics. No MIDI. Only a basic reverb for mix down. No insert effects. Way over priced for what it offers, and it's only 16 bit. Pick up an old 2488Neo with 24 tracks, more preamps, effects, MIDI, and it's 24 bit.
I have a DP008ex that I sent in for repair due to some buttons sticking. Tascam told me the board is bad. I’m looking at getting one of these. Do you know if this will read the SD card that was recorded on the DP008ex?
