A Russian doctor once told me the pineal gland rests from 9 pm until 2 am and if you are awake during that time, it will not be able to function well. I follow TCM and regularly see an acupuncturist. I developed a really bad habit of going to bed late, sometimes 3 am. I am trying really hard to break that habit and your chart showing the two hour intervals and how they are associated with the various organs was very enlightening. Thanks for your very educational videos.
I agree from personal experience. Sleeping from 10PM to 6:30 has been a wonderful change for me in numerous ways. Sometimes I sleep from 9AM to 5AM and awake rested and ready to go- I get a lot more done on those days. Great video- thanks!

I have epilepsy and one of the things that is very important is that you do not get sleep deprived, stay hydrated, no caffeine, definitely no liquor and try to stay away from to much stress. Doing Meditation is good for people with epilepsy.
I had epilepsy growing up, I was heavily medicated from the age of 7, I had Tonic Clonic seizures, I would sleep a lot because it was the early 70’s when I started on medication, so I was always asleep early usually by 8.30pm at the latest when I was older, I never had to be told to go to bed. But I struggle with sleep most of my adult life, since I came off the anticonvulsants. I actually need 10hrs sleep to feel rested, but I never get that. I do drink a lot of water, I do have caffeine though, but I don’t drink alcohol, never have as my Cousin still has seizures because she drinks alcohol, I had 2 seizures about 5yrs ago the first since I was a kid, but it was other medication I was taking for nerve pain, which ironically is an anti-convulsant but they can also case them. Been good since I stopped taking that medication, I haven’t had any other seizures thank goodness, because I live in the bush off grid and can’t live without driving. I try not to get too stressed, but it does happen, thankfully a walk with my dog soon fixes it, and sitting watching nature and the native wild animals and birds.
In fact, I used to stay up until 1:00 a.m., sometimes even 3:00 a.m. for a long period of about 6 months to a year. As a result, I suffered from insomnia, my kidneys functioned poorly, and my heart often beat. faster than normal, my immune system is much weaker, making me susceptible to colds. Not to mention many other diseases that I won't list because it's quite long. I often feel so tired that I want to die. It took almost 2 years to find the cause and I have to tell you that you should really go to bed at 9 pm to have a healthy body free from disease and feel at maximum capacity every morning. daytime. I have tried many methods of diet, exercise, meditation, qigong, I have even fasted and I confirm that nothing is more effective than going to bed early. Of course, you also need to eat and exercise regularly. If you persevere for 2-3 months, you will see a difference. 1 month may not see much if your body is too sick or you have insomnia, let your body get used to it. sleeping early. Naturally, once your body gets used to it, it will wake up without an alarm clock at 5 a.m. if you regularly go to bed at 9 p.m. You definitely shouldn't let your mind get too excited or stressed before going to bed by reading or watching things that stimulate your mind. A little sharing from someone who rose from a body that was almost in the grave. Hope you will have a body filled with life and joy. ❤
Thank you for sharing this, it's a relief to know that I'm not alone in this. I want to get rid of this behaviour of sleeping late and have been "trying" for 2 years. I will get through this. ❤
Thank you Dr Alex! It used to be that people would go to sleep at sunset and rise up at sunrise. I had a friend who worked out in the Desert for three months and they did not have electricity. She went to sleep soon after sunset and would rise at dawn. Her menstrual cramps went away! She had energy during the day along with mental clarity and a peaceful disposition. She was remarkably improved in many facets of her health. Nature's laws are good for us!!
Thank you Dr. Alex. Many years ago my auntie had told me of this information before we lost her to cancer. She always said to me 9-11 is when the mind/nervous system rest, then 11-sunrise is the rest of the body… your video was very educational for me. I’ve already shared with family and friends. Acupuncture and eastern medicine has always been successful for me and I wish medical schools would teach that more. God bless you and thank you for blessing us with your knowledge.
You are right. I wasted five years watching my phone late at night. After 1am my rhythm gets affected and I find myself awake till 3 am. This has led to mood swings, lethargy, weight gain and been jobless for over 5 years
This was posted 3 yrs ago, right about the time of covid horor, of fear, lockdowns, job loss, etc. All of us were 'disoriented' re: our natural internal sleep rhythm's. Plus we became even more 'addicted' to our gadgets causing more night time wakefulness. I used to have decent sleep times, now I'm a night hawk...and sure feel lousy. Will make a dedicated effort to get back to 11 - 6:30. Will update in a couple weeks to see how successful I am. I think many of us felt like lost ships, without anchor, being tossed on an ocean of darkness. For me this is a grand opportunity to regain mastery of my ship, chart my course and arrive safely to my chosen destination. First Stop = A Good Nights' Sleep! Thank you, Dr. Hui, Respectfully, You do your Ancestors and Ancient Culture Proud!
This is a very interesting video on the appropriate time to sleep. It’s an eye opener. I have no idea that sleep is so important. I wish more people know about this especially our grand kids.
Hi Joan. Yes Sleep is one of the most important factors to good health in Chinese Medicine, together with "Emotions". These two are often neglected since most people focuses on diet and exercises only.
Thank you. I fell into the bad habit of sleeping sporadically, then staying up all night. But now, for the past two weeks, I have been going to bed earlier. And I feel wonderful!! Now, I just saw you for the first time today -- first with tapping, and now this sleeping time info. Great work.
My husband spent 16 years working irregular shifts, literally a different shift every day and a different schedule every week. It was awful. 5 mk ths ago, he switched departments and has a 5am to 1:30pm shift, 5 days per week, and it's amazing to see how much better he feels with a regular sleep schedule. He has to go to sleep at about 730 to be up by 430, but it's just a world better than a different shift and sleep time every day. I don't know how he did it for so long. Now I'm trying to get to sleep as quickly after work as I can, which ends at 9pm. Feels better already. As a teenager, I was down by 10, up without an alarm at 5. Makes such a difference!
some of us need to be awake and alert when others are sleeping. i am 67 retired now and have worked all shifts and do not mind taking naps throughout any 24 hour period.
would be awesome if there was a vid on min-maxing activities for these 2 hour segments based on the meridians. this can also be a great way to schedule meals or when to fast or exercise. thanks for this guide~
for this Easter holidays I coincidentally slept from 8.30 pm on and my overall system recovered sooo much. Especially my face looked 30 years younger. I'll follow your advice : D and try to get to bed before 9 : )
In Ayurveda the time from 6 to 10am and pm is Kapha. From 10am to 2pm and from 10pm to 2 am Pitta and from 2 to 6 am and pm Vata. It's best to fall asleep before 10 pm, in Kapha and wake up before 6 am, in Vata. If you fall asleep after 10 pm, it is already Pitta, the time for greatest activity, so it will be very difficult to fall asleep. And if you wake up after 6am, it is already Kapha, so the whole day you will feel sleepy and lethargic. 😊
@@uma222 the real explanation in vedic tradition is actually the 3 gunas, not doshas. End of night and early morning is considered time of sattva guna, or even nirguna. And other cultures like for example islam or christianity also explain it from spiritual perspective.
@@VsevolodSidorenkoIn Ayurveda it is not the three gunas, but the three dosha and she correctly explained that. Write your own comment, explaining the logic behind that in Christianity and other belief system, besides this proverb, and don't be envious of other people's comments. 😜
During the last several years I have developed terrible sleep habits, sometimes not sleeping at all and then having a terrible day afterward. Or, I go to sleep at three or four o'clock in the morning. In addition, I have hypersomnia and sometimes sleep 13 hours. All this started when I was a child and began sleepwalking. Also, I have sleep apnea. I am going to take your thirty-day challenge and go to be early. Thank you for the inspiration. I have subscribed.
Thank you dr. Alex. I sleep at 9.00 pm and wake up at 5.00 am. I feel very good when i wake up in the morning. Thanks for your video and sharing. Till then.
Wow, the side effects you mentioned from not sleeping during the recommended hours match the symptoms I've been experiencing on a daily basis. Five years ago I was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease (and cervical cancer five months ago) and over the past eight months my sleep pattern has become increasingly irregular. Some nights I have to read or listening to various sleep relaxation audio or watch videos for hours before I fall asleep and this is despite trying to keep as active as possible during the day. My specialist said this is a symptom of kidney disease and that it will likely worsen as it progresses. It's really depressing thinking that this is what I have to look forward to, waking up feeling unrested, painful, lethargic, unmotivated, depressed, brain fog and no enthusiasm. I've just discovered your channel and watched a few videos, which has given me a glimmer of hope. I will start trying some of your techniques in the hope that they may improve my health and give me back an appreciation for life.
Thanks for your great videos. In the one on coffee you mentioned the different types of teas (green tea, oolong, keemun, etc.) and their different effects, applications, etc. Can you please do a video on this? Many thanks.
And the Dr. Looks from his appearance , "he practices what he preaches", i have always used the best of all "medical" advice, and Chinese medicine is part of my good health, i'm 84yr, God willing if my health stays good, i will see 100yr. 🙏🌿💗
@@madeleinegrayson8372 why does this start so late though? It makes sense then why people would stay up past that time. Shouldn’t night time be more cool and calm energetically to be conducive to sleep
Ayurveda also looks at the body in similar but not exactly the same way. Here the day is divided into 8 parts called a 'prahar' with associated recommended routines at each prahar
Dr Hui, unfortunately I had my gall bladder removed. How does that affect or alter this sleep system. I did pretty good 2 days ago but woke up at 3:30 for 2 hours then slept til 9am. Last night I went to bed at 10 and could not sleep. Help me doc. Please. 💕
Your explanation is very clear for my health situation. I am having problem going to sleep most of the night. I am forcing myself to go to sleep every night. l usually try to go to bed at 8pm, but all most every night at midnight I woke up going to pee and couldn't go back to sleep. When I have blood tested, and the result came out with my liver level is higher than normal. With all this time, I blame on my alcohol drinking habit. When I stopped/paused drinking, my liver level is lower, but still higher than normal. So between 12pm to 3am, I have not got a good sleep at all, just tossed up and down.
What happens if your’ve had your gallbladder or other organ removed? How does it affect the schedule of organ regeneration and how will that affect the qi & dantain?
Amazing explanation! Thank you.! I felt it’s right to subscribe in your TH-cam channel. Looking forward to hear more healthy tips from your channel. Good luck and God bless!🙏

Great video! When I don't have enough sleep, I am more prone to migraines. What is the link between sleep and migraines and why is it that other people do not have this issue ?
I'm so relieved that im not the only one who has a bad habit of sleeping after midnight 1am-3am, i guess this is a thing that alot of people go through in their life as well..
Hi -thank you for this video. Next, my mom pass on January 12, 2023 @ 92. I had been her primary care giver. At this point, much of the estate matters have been handled for which I am grateful for. With this said, I found that my sleeping schedule had been turned upside down. This is not the norm for me. Usually, I am lights out sometime between 9 and 10 p.m. and up between 5 and 6 a.m. without an alarm. As diligent as I try to be my sleep schedule has not return to what I would consider to be healthy. The grief part of all this shows up at the most unexpected times. What I done in order to deal with this situation is surrender to it having faith it will right itself. Eat healthy and be grateful. Any suggestions?
My condolences for your loss. Im not a TCM practitioner but I have been pondering on TCM's concepts of sleep timing & regeneration of TCM's definition of "Named Organs" which as Alex have stated carries very different concepts from modern medicine's anatomical definition of Organs. Its more accurate to think of the "Gall Bladder" restoration from 11pm-1am as describing the hormonal & biochemical pathways of the body as TCM do not have a seperate categorization for how modern medicine understands the body & the "Gall Bladder" organ was the closest TCM ever has to define & relate to hormonal/biochemistry interactions in the body, & even the "Liver" organ for 1am-3am is somewhat relatated to modern medicine's hormonal & biochemical pathways in the body as "Liver organ/pathway" in TCM often relates to anything related to detoxification for the body in TCM, I guess we would need to add in the Meridian pathway which Modern Medicine has only recently discovered which TCM accupunturists have been using as a way to stimulate the body's hormonal & biochemical pathways to treat patients. I think the more important thing to do is to cultivate a regular sleeping & waking hours instead of fretting & stressing yourself over your later sleeping hours, & getting sufficient sleep of over 8 hours so your body have sufficient time to rest & recuperate will be more vital for your health over the exact time you sleep since TCM was invented thousands of years ago in societies people rest early when its night time & there were no bright electrical lightings supporting nightlife activities into wee hours which we have now with people working on permanent night shifts who can still live healthier life than their daytime working peers. I have also seen reports discussing how it is common for older folks to experience difficulties sleeping earlier or sleeping sufficiently as they tend to wake up more frequently at night(I wonder if its related to poorer health in old folks), having regular sufficient exercises should help give your body a better sleep too. Take your time to gradually adjust to an earlier sleeping time, don't stress & force yourself too much, listen to some calming music, dim your lights, drink some chamonile tea, or use some lavender aroma therapy to help you relax & ease you into an earlier sleeping hour.
I unfortunately don't adhere to a set bedtime because my sleep is all over the place, am overweight because of that (not over eating), and snore do to overweight, have an adjustable bed.....I went through healing from adrenal fatigue syndrome when dx with it in 2014, at that time was only getting 2-3 hours a sleep per day, but I researched AFS, immune system, sleep deprivation, nutrition, so I understand very much how important sleep is........but it threw my sleep out of wack and been trying to get on a schedule ever since....so I am going to try your 30 day challenge of going to bed before 11pm.... I do not do caffeine I weened myself off that back in 2015.....magnesium and selenium levels are normal, so are all vitamins and other minerals as I get tested periodically
It was a wise move to subscribe to him, I know it. I always tried to rest from 10 PM. I felt, the 2 hrs until midnight worth 4 hrs sleeping after midnight.
Dr Alex, this is a, lovely informative video. Cud you pls tell me what is the best activity to do from 11.00am to 1.00pm , which is the Time of the Heart. I usually exercise at this time, and I'd like to hear your opinion of wht is best 🌟🙏💙 Thankyou
Very informative , to the point. Thanks My problem is waking up about 3.30 and 4.30 am and having difficulty going back to sleep BTY I sleep by 11pm every night , no problem falling asleep Would appreciate your opinion , thanks again
Hello Alex, I don't know how to find about the challenge as I can't see where it is written but I'm gong to try to sleep from 9pm until 5am for a month to see what happens to my body and my mind. Thank you for another very useful video. God Bless you
Hello Dr. Thank you for sharing the really great info. The issue that I have is that if I wakeup in the middle of the night I have a hart time to get back to sleep. Thank you
This makes total sense. If I get to bed after 11 I have a hard time sleeping. One question. I have to eat some carbs before I sleep or I will just lie there. This does not help my waistline. They are healthy carbs but that makes little difference when it comes to weight loss. I would appreciate your insights on this problem. No-one has been able to explain it or offer me suggestions to overcome this habit.
Always been a night person. Best sleep 1230/100 to 6/7am. Only ever needed 4 to 5 hours UNdisturbed sleep. Not good in mornings--ever. Last job worked at 645am. Bed at 9pm. Hello Dr. Alex! Thank you so much for your very interesting video! I will attempt to follow your advice, actually starting tonight! Typically I have NOT fallen asleep before 0200 over the last decade! I wonder what advice do you have for me - who has had my gallbladder removed - which is very common in western medicine! I had about 100 gallstones! Probably from eating too much fat food! I would LOVE to see an episode with advice for us who have had our gallbladders removed! THANK you! Thank you very much doctor for your information about sleep. I am very curious about my sleep. I'm automatically will awake up after 4 hrs. of sleep. What should I do? Should I take sleeping pills? I am a very late sleeper. If I accidentally fell asleep (nap) in the afternoon, about an hours or so, then I will be awake until almost in the morning! So, I tried to drink green tea to be awake during the day, so I can go to sleep before midnight! Sometimes it works and sometimes not! But no matter how or when I fell asleep, I will be awaken after 4 hrs anyway!😅 If I slept more than 4-5 hrs. I will have headache! Thia happened all the times! Now I'm turning 71, I want to have a longer sleeping times. Please help!!😥😓 Thank you very, very much and hope to hear from you. Looking forward to hear from you, doctor. 💜
Try melatonin before turning to sleeping pills. I also wake after 3-4 hours but then take a 3 mg melatonin and turn on a video of someone speaking softly so my mind is distracted. I almost always fall back asleep within half an hour to an hour.
After 4 to 5 hours of not eating protein the body starts to eat red blood cells because it needs protein. That’s what nutritionist Aajonus Vonderplanitz says anyway. He recommends to eat some raw animal protein and then go back to sleep. I have the same problem. For me the issue though is going back to sleep. All I can say is that eating something when I wake up at night helps me feel less drained when I wake up.
I have heard about Waking up around 2-3 am being connected to the liver. Can you PLEASE Educate us as to why some of us women wake up like an alarm clock at 3 am? Is it the Liver or Hormonal or Parasites? I have been dealing with this for 5 years. All the doctors do is shrug the shoulders or Give me pills. I was raised to go to bed around 8 to be a sleepy 9 and wake up at 6. I need 8-9 hours of sleep. Thank You!
I sleep late. Really late. In fact its 4am and I'm only now off to bed. To be up at 8am. My energy levels are like that of someone twice my age. I load up on caffeine daily and energy drinks. I've even started turning grey prematurely... It sucks. I'm really going to give this a go of getting a full 8 hours of sleep at the right hour...I'd be happy just to get my energy levels back.
Me too. I generally fall asleep btw 1-3 AM and sleep until 9:30AM-ish. If I wake up sooner, I feel nauseauted for some odd reason. Im tryning to correct this. Good luck to you both.
Maybe you have DSPS (Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome) and your circadian rhythm is shifted. In that case, it is best to try to stick to your biorhythm. It isn't easy but with a late shift job, it should be possible.
@@PI1901 I would look up the condition DSPS (Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome). Some people are wired to be night owls by genetics and trying to force an early bird schedule onto someone with DSPS can cause very negative short and long term health effects.

If you were to die today, are you a 100% sure you will go to heaven? If no, here is what the bible says, (1) Romans 3:23 KJV [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Q1. Do you know what Sin is? Sin is anything bad that we have done. Q2. Have you sinned before? Yes or No? (2) Revelation 21:8 KJV [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Because we have sinned, and God does not allow Sin into Heaven, the punishment is burning hell. What is the way to reconcile our peace and relationship with God? Q3. Do you know the Story of Jesus? (3) Romans 5:8 KJV [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus = God who lived up in Heaven, but he came down on earth and became a man like us, he lived for 33.5 years without committing any sin. Then there were certain people who were jealous and therefore framed him on phony charges, and crucified him. Then he was buried and resurrected on the third day; Now he lives in HEAVEN. Q4. Do you know why Jesus went through all this bloody mess for us? A4. As mentioned, our sin is the reason why we can’t go to heaven, and the only thing that can wash away our sin is the Blood of Jesus. (4) Romans 5:9 KJV [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. According to the bible, the only way for us to reconcile with God is through Christ Jesus’s blood, and not through any works that we do or merits we accumulate, such as water baptism, attending church, or any good thing that we do. The following verses clearly support this. (5) Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (6) 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. In order to get saved, repentance of one’s sin is needed to get saved, we need to be sorry, and repent, with conviction, that we are a wretched sinner. (7) Romans 10:9 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. If you truly do believe in everything you have heard in the gospel, ,I strongly suggest you to make a proclamation to GOD! You can say it to God in less than 15 seconds !Repeat after this simple prayer, to make sure you truly get saved. Remember repeating this prayer doesn't save you, it's you telling God you BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Ok, here is the prayer : ‘Dear GOD, I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen! Congratulations ! Now you are a child of God.
That’s crazy , if I’m awake past 11 I’m awake most of The night if I’m asleep
Around 9/9.30 , I slept well !! This is awesome . Thank you .

About two hours after sunset, unless it had been a long day
Thank you Dr.

Thank you dear, Alex. Every word that you utter appears to me as if god is directly speaking to me. God bless you for doing this service.
Hello Shahul, I am glad these videos can be helpful. Thanks! 😊
Thank you. I fell into the bad habit of sleeping sporadically, then staying up all night.
But now, for the past two weeks, I have been going to bed earlier. And I feel wonderful!!
Now, I just saw you for the first time today -- first with tapping, and now this sleeping time info. Great work.
I saw this doc on here for the first time today 🙂
Thank you. I feel great when I get to bed before 11 p.m. The next day I'm more energetic and the mood is also much better.
would be awesome if there was a vid on min-maxing activities for these 2 hour segments based on the meridians. this can also be a great way to schedule meals or when to fast or exercise. thanks for this guide~
I hope he answers you!
Lol bs nonsense
for this Easter holidays I coincidentally slept from 8.30 pm on and my overall system recovered sooo much.
Thanks a million Uma ❤😊
in all cultures people knew early to bed early to rise is good
@@VsevolodSidorenko and where is the logic behind that, explain if you can, as I have, with Pitta, Vata and Kapha. 😜
I'm going to try your 30 day challenge! Starting today, 7/14/23, I will let you know after 30 days from now! 🙏😴💫
Thank you dr. Alex. I sleep at 9.00 pm and wake up at 5.00 am. I feel very good when i wake up in the morning. Thanks for your video and sharing. Till then.
But some countries are different times , like Canada summer sun set at 10:pm others countries sun set 6 or 7or 8

Thank you so much for this information. Really trying to improve my sleep! Since today is May 1st, I’m going to do the 30 day sleep challenge! 😊
Alex, does everyone have the same biological clock? I enjoy your podcasts & the lessons you put out.thank you!😊
Good question
Yes good question
You are a great teacher. Organs in medicine different in medicine but same in body.
Thanks for finally an explanation for my health issues after 3 years of working thru the night 4 days a week. Thank you 😌
Ok, I'm going to try doing this because I'm often up most of the night. I'll have to start tommorrow because its already 1am!
Great video. Thank you for all the tips for staying healthy. Blessings 🙏
The irony of me watching at 3am. I really need to fix my sleeping patterns. Thank you for this video, doc!
Thanks for your great videos. In the one on coffee you mentioned the different types of teas (green tea, oolong, keemun, etc.) and their different effects, applications, etc. Can you please do a video on this? Many thanks.
so good to see a well presented and clear explanation without the over repetition that many videos about health use.
And the Dr. Looks from his appearance , "he practices what he preaches", i have always used the best of all "medical" advice, and Chinese medicine is part of my good health, i'm 84yr, God willing if my health stays good, i will see 100yr. 🙏🌿💗
Now I understand why I have a hard time falling asleep if for some reason I am unable to go to bed before 11pm, I feel really”wound up”.
Yes, and in Ayurveda they teach that at 10pm Pitta energy starts which is warm, energetic, fiery. It's why people often get a second wind after 10pm.
@@madeleinegrayson8372 .....,...
@@palmarinewilliams1469 no idea what that means. Try using words.
Interesting!
Can u pls tell more about it,?
Thank you!
Lovely vid, sleep is something we over look or are ignorant of it's importance.
Dr Hui, unfortunately I had my gall bladder removed. How does that affect or alter this sleep system. I did pretty good 2 days ago but woke up at 3:30 for 2 hours then slept til 9am. Last night I went to bed at 10 and could not sleep. Help me doc. Please. 💕
You are so right In what you say. My sleep schedule is terrible and it’s been like this for a while. I’m taking your challenge ❤🙏🏻thanks
Shi Shea Alex .. Your Wisdom is a boon to the seekers. 🙏🏽💯
I'm lucky to find this wonderful video. I find Chinese medicine interesting.
Thank u doc! I’ll go for 30 days challenge! Starting tonight. Goodnight po.
It's got to do the GB meridian, not the organ. In my understanding, its removal has no impact on the cycle function.
Amazing explanation! Thank you.! I felt it’s right to subscribe in your TH-cam channel. Looking forward to hear more healthy tips from your channel. Good luck and God bless!🙏
I know this is a video from couple years ago but I value the information and I’m a new subscriber! Thank you for sharing your expertise and wanting to help us! Blessings to you.
Hello Doctor, if my gall bladder has been surgically removed, how does it affect my 11pm to 1am segment? Thank you
Thank you for explaining, very interesting and a good way to stay healty. Waching your videos is a good help in the right direction
Thank you, now I will always sleep at 11 pm, I always sleep 5 or 4 hours every day. I don't have any health problems
Sorry for your loss. 🔥
Thank you Alex for sharing this important information. God bless you
I unfortunately don't adhere to a set bedtime because my sleep is all over the place, am overweight because of that (not over eating), and snore do to overweight, have an adjustable bed.....I went through healing from adrenal fatigue syndrome when dx with it in 2014, at that time was only getting 2-3 hours a sleep per day, but I researched AFS, immune system, sleep deprivation, nutrition, so I understand very much how important sleep is........but it threw my sleep out of wack and been trying to get on a schedule ever since....so I am going to try your 30 day challenge of going to bed before 11pm.... I do not do caffeine I weened myself off that back in 2015.....magnesium and selenium levels are normal, so are all vitamins and other minerals as I get tested periodically

Hello Dr. Thank you for sharing the really great info. The issue that I have is that if I wakeup in the middle of the night I have a hart time to get back to sleep.

Try magnesium before you go to bed
Look up "De novo lipogenesis"

I'm seeing this 3 years later but I'm going to try your 30 day challenge!

Oh!!!Doctor thanks for guidg us.🙏 As,attimes,I am awaken even at late night 3.00am.🙈One of my tarot reader friend related 2 Ayurveda also had warn me 2 sleep early night, then stay awaken at night.🤨
Guys 11 is too early should sleep at 1 because you will miss so many things on youtube.👌
Wouldn't it be better to do watch TH-cam next the next day then lose the opportunity to recover your body?
Thank you very much for the advice. If it's possible could you slow down just a little bit because it's a lot of information to digest that quickly. A softer slower relaxing pace would have made it a little bit better but thank you for helping people. Much appreciated.
Thank you for your interesting videos. This seems doable for me but not for my husband since he works nights. Any sleeping advice for people who have to work nights? Thank you
Is night sleep more potent than day time sleep, does anyone know please thankyou. Great video thankyou.
Hello Dr.
THANK you! Love and respect from Uncle Bob in Sweden!
This was wonderful, thank you so much!
@@lindass5966 Wrong. You can actually get good sleep with them. They're all different and people react differently.

Thank You!
Thank you Alex and God bless you 🙏❤️
I sleep late.
I'm in the same situation as you.
I would hire an adult babysitter just to make sure I went to bed on time at least once or twice to break the cycle
I am 80 yo. At some point I was told meditation between 11 pm 1am is very spiritual time for growth in shen. I continue to do 40 min seated meditation occasionally when I awaken in that time period, because it has seemed to work. Comments?

If you were to die today, are you a 100% sure you will go to heaven?
If no, here is what the bible says,
(1) Romans 3:23 KJV [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Ok, here is the prayer :
‘Dear GOD,
I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen!
