Great video content! Eye-catching thumbnails could really help it pop even more.
Totally agree with the screens and front end
A 2 ton EV sedan that drives well? What has the world come down to in 2024?!?
Just took delivery of one of these recently. value and BMW don't normally go together, but outside of Tesla there wasn't anything else appealing in the general price range , pretty much best in class interior, handling, and all-round great car with only a few compromises really.
If you like it, that's all that matters. Enjoy.😅
It’s pretty decent for BMW as a non EV brand, but I don’t think it’s worth 50% more than a $60k BYD Seal Premium. $92k d/a and still needs heated seats and a glass roof as options. No leather or ventilated seats, and an old NMC battery, 140km less in claimed range. Same sub-6s acceleration and RWD.
Can definitely do better than those $$ on the BMW , don't believe / suck up the RRPs , especially on a lease. Something you can't do with BYD due to their operating model. but even considering that, Value wise, Isn't that the case for pretty much any other established brand competitors to brands like BYD ? It's worth somewhat more IMO, but 40-50% , no I agree don't think it is. They're not equal cars though, look deeper than spec sheets or claimed figures
PS.. NMC is not 'old' , it's used alongside LFP . Pro's and Cons.
Thanks Brett for the review. Any chance please of getting your hands on a BYD Seal (Premium mid-spec one ideally) to review? Would like to see your take on them.
Thanks. I've asked BYD but I haven't, so far, been able to secure a booking. I'll try again.
I very like the i4, especially that it has a hatch, but it is extremely expensive here in Thailand.
It’s actually a fun car to drive. Sitting in the car gives a luxury feel. You need to add a couple of options to really enjoy the car.
Just one major issue of insurance 😊 they don’t cover anything if there is a fire especially if it happens when you charge it at home.
any evidence of this?
It's nice that they tried I guess but I simply don't want one...
They need to replace that ugly, bad and annoying sound when the throttle is full 🤮
You can disable it.
