I just bought two and I have been searching [with no luck] how to format the sd card and using with Alexa was the two main reasons I purchased this cam from Amazon. Can you tell me the answer to those questions or even one answer would be appreciated.
To format the cards you have to do it through the app open the app and it’s 3 little dots click that open settings it’s called storage settings and it’s there if you installed one I have couple cheap 32gig cards in mine
And also to setup Alexa you have to approve it there also i did not but I did see it’s a button to turn on and off in there

this is still the same as the one where you can mount it on the wall right? i was told before i bought it that i could use it without a home wifi that i could use it directly connected to my phone i even put a sd card in and i cant figure out how to get it connected/paired is it true i can use without wifi or do i have to have a home wifi?
I don’t remember saying that you can use it without wifi I’m pretty sure you have to have wifi connection and the app or the thing doesn’t work at all and you have your screw it directly into a socket I have one in the front and side my house now use the same app you can have up to 4 on the app at once
Does it record 24/7, or does it record by itself only when it’s motion censored?
No just when motion is detected it’s starts recording but there are settings maybe can adjust it
Is there a way to turn off and ON? I don’t see the feature.

It only comes on when motion is detected
I got two cameras and they dont even turn to the side and the light dont come up?
Did you hook up to the app
If the light switch is turned off that means it won't record right?
