Of course, the Latin explosion wouldn't be complete without mentioning Selena and the major return of Carlos Santana. I remember the day this song came on the radio for the first time. I was in Miami and a bunch of us were on the US Highway 1 - the one that goes from mainland Florida to Key West. We were on that bridge that goes over the water for miles and miles. It was 5 of us in the car, not a cloud in the sky and turquoise water for as far as you could see. All the windows were down and when this song came on the radio - it was perfect. We are all singing our hearts out! That's my memory of this song and all the fun we had on that trip!

Oh my goodness I absolutely ADORE Jon Secada's music! This song in particular takes me right back to the summer of 1992, swimming at the beach with my friends and this song playing over the boombox. What a great era in general, but especially for music! I miss those days so much. Crazy to think it's been over 30 years now 😱

I was 8 years old hearing this song everywhere especially my mom would play this on her cassette player over and over she would rewind it back each time. Lol
I was obsessed with Jon Secada in High school, and he still has a great voice nowadays. I'm really happy to see that y'all enjoyed his first single!!! :)
Jon started out as one of Gloria Estefan's backup singers on her music cd's and tours. Gloria provided some of the backup vocals on Just Another Day and co-wrote the Spanish version of the song.

I remember the day this song came on the radio for the first time. I was in Miami and a bunch of us were on the US Highway 1 - the one that goes from mainland Florida to Key West. We were on that bridge that goes over the water for miles and miles. It was 5 of us in the car, not a cloud in the sky and turquoise water for as far as you could see. All the windows were down and when this song came on the radio - it was perfect. We are all singing our hearts out! That's my memory of this song and all the fun we had on that trip!

I was born in 87 I grew up to my mom listening to these songs Nonstop blasting at high volume. This was one of her favorites and honestly it’s one of mine too now. Hearing this song brings me back to happy Times in New York young kid jamming out with my mom to all the music she would show me. 36 years old and almost makes me wanna cry

I was so excited when I saw your thumbnail! Jon Secada (Seh-cah- dah) was one of my favorite 90s singers! He was also a songwriter. He won 2 Grammy Awards and sold over 15 million records. Jon started as Gloria Estefan's back up singer and she was very supportive of his career. You will see Gloria briefly in the video singing back up for Jon. His English and Spanish songs were also very popular in Latin America. He had that rhythmic Latin sound. 💖
So here in Florida, high school seniors would go on their class trip called "Grad Nite" to Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Disney would close the park to only HS seniors until the early morning hours. We were in a STUPID long line for Space Mountain, so we left and wandered to the live music area. JON SECADA WAS PERFORMING THIS SONG!!! So good! PM Dawn also performed. Never so grateful for long Space Mountain lines 😂
