The fact that Ellen said that she’s quitting because “the show isn’t a challenge anymore” instead of admitting that she messed up just shows how narcissistic she really is.

Then she came out and announced she was gay and her whole show centered around that and the show was no longer funny because she changed. I don't judge people and don't care what her preference is, she was no longer funny in my opinion so I didn't have a reason to follow her. I saw a couple episodes of her current show and thought it was garbage so that was it for me. Horror stories about how she treats people didn't help her either.

Not necessary. I do can relate more to the innocence of the animals than to people and I am no sociopath. Many people actually feel like that. However, I could never treat people badly or take advantage of their hard work. Real sociopaths and psychopaths don’t like animals either.

@@erlycuyler Covid is a big reason her ratings are down. No live audience and she was very much constrained in what she could do on her show when all her interviews had to be from remote locations. Ratings are down for a lot of shows that depend on audience interaction.

I know how she feels. I worked for 5 years for one hell of a toxic boss in a toxic environment. once you're out of it, and regain your senses, its really like a new dawn and you realise what happened to you over your time there.
Same, I got fired from a toxic environment I was in for 9 years. It's been over a year now and I'm still not totally over it, but taking it one day at a time.

Her true colours were on show three or four years ago when she shamed and embarrassed an audience member for taking extra free gifts, caught by a secret camera that was deliberately placed to catch people out. She couldn’t hide how unimpressed she was and made this quite clear to the rest of the audience. For gods sake, the gifts were only crappy mugs, pens etc. What she did was cruel and out of order. I always got a weird vibe from Ellen whenever I switched through channels and came across her show years ago. She seemed completely hollow but tried so hard to come across as likeable and caring.
