Think about this, all these foreign cars are sold twice or more than what it is in Western countries to people with much lower income here who do the same job westerners do, this is the sad state of the country where taxation is not uniform, middle class suffers the worst unfortunately.

Likewise every market has segments for different financial capabilities of people. But It's People who should be wise enough to buy from the segment of their Aukaat.. I love my Honda city.. I bought it brand new for 15 Lakhs & that's what my aukaat is.. There is nothing wrong in being grateful for what you have rather than buying a Merc /BMW second hand just for show off. So, guys be grateful for what you have & always value it. 👍👍
1 - Buy any luxury car 2 - for the first year take the most premium insurance 3 - damage the car by yourself 4 - try to replace all the damage parts under insurance 5 - by now you would have replaced 50% of the parts basis how massive damage you made to the car 6 - put some extra money and replace few other parts (now your car should have 65 to 70% newly replaced parts) 7 - now onwards with all these you should be driving it for next 3 to 5 years with some wear and tear hear and there😅 Happy luxury 🎉
Bro can read my mind. After the recent video on used Honda city, I also came across some 'affordable' luxury cars. I tried to find out their maintenance cost and came to the same conclusion.
I have jeep compass. Not showing off but really it is beast american tank, 5 star rated and very much reliable on speeds like 120kmph and also the service cost is 1.5x than marutis but its ok coz jeep compass is luxury powerful car..... I bought it in 19 lakh onroad with little modifications in 2021...
My 2 cents after looking at used cars market for a while: If you really do wanna buy old luxury cars for reasonable price to live your luxury car dreams, go for Japanese cars - Honda, Toyota, or even better Lexus - if you can afford. I know Hondas and Toyotas aren't really "luxury" cars per se, but coming from smaller cars like alto or swift, you will feel 10x nicer in these cars. Plus they're easier and cheaper to maintain. They provide a sweet-spot for most people. Best "nicer" used cars for the feel good factor Under 5L: Honda Civic (2008-2013) - Best driver's car in this budget. World class 1.8L engine. Super reliable. These cars can easily go 2L+ km without major issues. Under 10L: Toyota Corolla-Altis (2013-2017) - Toyota D segment sedan = best of reliability + necessary bells and whistles without any stupid tech that could fail. This makes it a timeless car indeed. Easy to run, easy to maintain. Under 15L: Honda Civic (2019-2021) - Best car at the best price - literally a steal deal if you can find a clean model as these didn't sell that much. Same 1.8L engine - super fun and reliable. The new shape looks great and doesn't feel like an "old" car. Maintenance costs are also not too expensive, only slightly more than a new Honda City or Elevate. Under 20L: Toyota Camry (2015 onwards) - Gem of a vehicle. It is reliable and easy to maintain but the costs could be on the higher side. Overall the best reliable "semi-luxury" car in a semi-reasonable price". Far more sound decision than a used European luxury car. For the people who can spend more, you can look at Lexus, or higher end Toyotas like the old LC. For the people who are knowledgeable about cars, or have friends or family who can help - you can go pick up a Lexus LS430 from 2002 under 5L or a Lexus LS470 from 2008 under 10L if you find a clean one that has been kept well. Both these cars are super reliable, if maintained and taken care of. They can run for eternity. They have every luxury feature you could think of, except the gimmicks and stupid ones that cars have nowdays. Keep in mind they came with V8 engines that are expensive to maintain and sourcing parts is also expensive.
Bro, what about Skoda octavia and Superb. These are selling at around 12-15 lakhs for models between 2016-2019. Are they reliable and easier on pocket to maintain ?
Every car you’ve mentioned on that list has wallet burning fuel economy. Sure, they might be cheap to maintain but aren’t gonna be cheap to run with fuel costs. Diesel German cars on the other hand are super economical. Not comparing the maintenance cost of the two because obviously the German car will be more expensive on the hole but you aren’t getting that much of a better deal with such low fuel economy numbers like a civic or Prado would return. I know this because I have an 07 civic which gives me about half the mileage my vw Passat gives me. Parts on the Passat are expensive when they break but they don’t break every month. The civic though costs twice as much as the Passat to run (in fuel) EVERY MONTH.
IMPORTANT POINT TO CONSIDER User Luxury Cars Mileage: 3-4 km/l New Cars Mileage - 15-20 km/l If you drove 1k km in 1 month, total cost in luxury cars will be 25000, but in new car it will be only 5000.
Sir, respectfully, Audi A6 /2014. Well maintained . City 8-10 kmpl with traffic / Highway 16-18 Kmpl (* cruise control locked at 80-100 kms ) * With light foot driving / pan-India / non-potholed roads.
Another point to add here is unauthorised dealers replace original parts with duplicate parts and this you will be able to identify only if you go to the authorised dealer which most of these buyers never do.
Thats why chinese ev cars vehicles will eventually going to succeed in many market because they will going to provide these part at utter cheap compared to European
@@EmiG-tt5cmwhat about lasting. in Delhi you can’t keep your car for life long doesn’t matter how good you maintain your car. It’s more harmful to environment to when you buy a new car rather than using your old car. Government made the rule help their car lobby to make more money.
Chinese car companies have a long way to go . European companies have completed over a century of car manufacturing so they have much more experience and expertise in the market . It’s just that our economy and middle class doesn’t have the luxury yet to buy these luxury vehicles. But it’s a matter of time I think . In few years bmw and Mercedes wouldn’t be considered as expensive as they are today . Remember 2006? Owning a bmw in 2006 was something no one would even think of , now you see a merc or BMW commonly on the streets .
You left out one category of folks who buy these, "Car Guys". Some of the reason why people still buy old models are, older german cars used to have Naturally Aspirated V8 and V6 options, now whereas mostly all cars under 1 CR have only 4 cylinder options which are turbo charged, Older cars had a soul and a feel to it, which the modern versions have lost. Cars like the old w212 coupe with the v6 and the old Audi Rs5 with the 4.2 FSI V8 or even the old A6 with the V6, these are really great cars for spirited driving. Again most enthusiasts i have seen dont go to showroom for service of these old cars. They got their own mechanics and source the spares themselves. So these are some things that a pure enthusiast will do. Whereas the other categories come as u mentioned who just need the car for luxury tag and will end up buying some crappy base model 3 series or Audi A4
These dealers where suddenly flooding instagram, u read our minds bro. Love ur channel. Better to buy NEW but simple car range 10-15 lakhs, use for 5/6 years and repeat. Peace of mind

If u don't own a business 😉
You clearly don't know anything about foreign cars.
Not really. My 9 year old bmw 328i has really been bullet proof. I bought it second hand in 2021 and I have spent zero money in fixing the car. Just regular servicing.

This video makes me realise Indian middle class is extremely poor by international standards
Sad but a true reality, only the rich get richer in an otherwise poor country like India.
Bro, taxation rates are high in India...middle class folks are shafted twice through taxes, by income tax and indirect taxes on all items sold under the sun🥲.
Think about this, all these foreign cars are sold twice or more than what it is in Western countries to people with much lower income here who do the same job westerners do, this is the sad state of the country where taxation is not uniform, middle class suffers the worst unfortunately.
Yes for 1 Lakh bike GST us 28%
One chopper the gst is 5%
Also these cars cost way less in international markets

agar shauk pura karna hi hai toh used lexus try karo. European cars jitni complex nahi hoti & tier 1 cities mein toyota dealers se bhi service karwa sakte hain. overall reliability in lexus is much better but insurance will still be high beware of that. Lexus LS is a BMW 7 series comparable but LS mein bhi air suspension hota hai toh savdhan rahe. Jaldi kharab nahi bi hua toh repair cost mehngi hi ayegi.

@@rishirajomivaidya5648 sahi baat hai bhai. tabhi kaha "agar shauk pura karna hi hai"
Dekha jaye toh kuch tier 1 & tier 2 cities ke bahar ye sabhi cars ka use case nahi hain humare desh mein. Lexus ke kuch models fir bhi chal sakte hain kyuki ultimately platform toh toyota ka hai. Aur meri baat biased nahi hai bas observation based hai. North America market dekhna research ke liye.. Lexus is significantly more expensive as compared to respective toyota models.
To your point, parts fir bhi expensive hi hain. Slightly lesser than european for sure.. but still expensive.
Plus, agar koi product north america mein expensive hai, toh humare desh mein unaffordable hi samjho including all taxes & supply chain costs for any particular product under consideration.
Aapka kya vichar hai?
Agar Lena ho to Lexus le lena . Wo reliable hoti hein aur maintainance cost kum hoti hein as compared to their German , Italian , Swedish & British counterparts .
Best go for Toyota no tension of high maintenance
Less safer than German cars

Bhai Kaha compare kar raha h ??
Smartphones ki waise bhi maximum life 3-4 years hoti h woh bhi proper care se rakhe toh aur usme bhi battery nipat jaati h.
Main jab se mobile phone public mein aya h tab se sirf flagship model hi use kara raha hu 94 ke IBM Simon se lekar 24 ka Fold 6 use kiya h.
Mere hisaab se parts ke prices 99.99% times sirf use hi dekhne padhte he jo careless ho aur aise careless users ko smartphones use bhi nahi karna chahiye, maine aaj tak ek mobile nahi toda h puchhle 35 saalo mein.
Toh care se use karo, baaki manufa turing defects toh sab mein aate h.

When we talk aboyt luxury cars in india
Its only the german brands.
German news channel DW news made a news report on how german luxury cars of 90s used to last for more than 20 yrs while the modern ones only 5 to 8 yrs
Its mainly bcoz of all the plastic parts used in place of metals.

I've bought a bmw gt and i do all of the service myself so service cost is just parts that got installed. But i would recommend to buy these only if you got around 25000 per month to spend on it. They won't get repaired every month but when they do those 25k of every month you put aside will save you.

Hats off brother!!
I brought an 2019 audi a6 for 32 lakh in cash in audi pre owned and it is ok to buy from assured dealer and if you can maintain it is the best option but you are going on trend it can cost a fortune
You are falling in catagory no 1 , if you already have money to buy car worth of 30lakh+ on your own than you can maintain it good and without any problem..
you can afford it but let me tell you, a6 is a great car till its running, once it fails, it costs fortune to repair.

1 - Buy any luxury car
2 - for the first year take the most premium insurance
3 - damage the car by yourself
4 - try to replace all the damage parts under insurance
5 - by now you would have replaced 50% of the parts basis how massive damage you made to the car
6 - put some extra money and replace few other parts (now your car should have 65 to 70% newly replaced parts)
7 - now onwards with all these you should be driving it for next 3 to 5 years with some wear and tear hear and there😅
Happy luxury 🎉

If buying used luxury cars, always buy: 1. Manual transmission. 2. Replace run flats with normal tyres 3. Replace air suspension with normal ones.

My 2 cents after looking at used cars market for a while:
If you really do wanna buy old luxury cars for reasonable price to live your luxury car dreams, go for Japanese cars - Honda, Toyota, or even better Lexus - if you can afford.
I know Hondas and Toyotas aren't really "luxury" cars per se, but coming from smaller cars like alto or swift, you will feel 10x nicer in these cars. Plus they're easier and cheaper to maintain. They provide a sweet-spot for most people.
Best "nicer" used cars for the feel good factor
Under 5L: Honda Civic (2008-2013) - Best driver's car in this budget.
Thanks for info.
damnn bro, you got some good knowledge!
Bro, what about Skoda octavia and Superb. These are selling at around 12-15 lakhs for models between 2016-2019. Are they reliable and easier on pocket to maintain ?
@@rishusingh82 no
Every car you’ve mentioned on that list has wallet burning fuel economy.
I was planning for used Mercedes GL 350, now changed my decision. Thank you for this detailed video bro ❤️

+1 for mentioning the users for whom used luxury cars can be beneficial
IMPORTANT POINT TO CONSIDER
User Luxury Cars Mileage: 3-4 km/l
New Cars Mileage - 15-20 km/l
If you drove 1k km in 1 month,
total cost in luxury cars will be 25000,
but in new car it will be only 5000.

Thats why chinese ev cars vehicles will eventually going to succeed in many market because they will going to provide these part at utter cheap compared to European
Dont think that they will lasts as well.
The life span is very less. And we have to again spend on new and parts are very hard to get.
Whereas the other categories come as u mentioned who just need the car for luxury tag and will end up buying some crappy base model 3 series or Audi A4
Mere papa ka german luxury car own krne ka sapna pura hogya 😊
