I saw video where a scientist on some podcast said you have to cook the ever loving crap out of mushrooms or they are toxic and do liver damage over time, is that true? Also never tried shrooms 😅 told it was a crazy trip and didn't sound fun but I have recently tried it, found it to be extremely effective for my adhd/asd. Extremely effective.

@@smartwatchonpluto Many can be eaten raw, and are arguably best raw. Others are better when cooked. But it's certainly not necessary to heat detoxify a good strain. And it may be about impossible to heat detox a poisonous species, so it's better not to try. Stick to known beneficial species and you won't go wrong.

I have stage 4 breast cancer. When I first started turkey tail my cancer became stable, probably on the way to remission if I had t stopped it. When I stopped it for 3 months, cancer came back with a vengeance. I noticed my cancer has adapted to turkey tail so I doubled my intake from 8 capsules to 16 capsules a day. Was given 3 months left before I started taking 16 capsules a day. I developed cachexia (muscle wasting) and lost tons of weight and had. I appetite at all. Whenever I find food I wanna eat, I vomited them.. now when I started taking 16 capsules a day, I started feeling better again. This is my first week and I got my appetite back, chills and muscle pain from cachexia has diminished. I’m hoping turkey tail will start working again and live more than 3 months!! I have my own channel and been documenting my cancer journey.

      1. some people successfully do carnivore for cancer.
      2. some people successfully take Ivermectin (dog parasite med)
      3. some people successfully do the alkaline diet. Buy litmus paper at the health food store. Spit in a spoon and test the pH.
My daughter only tested alkaline one day and then it went back to slightly acid. But that was enough and she became well.

In Dutch, The Netherlands it is called Fairy Bench (elfenbankje) cause it is a perfect place for the muchroom (paddenstoel) to sit on. We call Mushroom paddenstoel cause toads mean padden in Dutch and they can sit on mushrooms. But the higher ones are called Fairy Bench, cause only the fairies could sit on the higher ones, cause they had wings. Just a little story of the European Dutch naming of Paddenstoel (mushrooms, funghi) and Elvenbankje.

I am recently looking at turkey tail around my property, but I would love to see a video that compares some turkey tail after its been on a log for say whole year. What color does it become on top and the bottom? Does it become dry and very faded out in color and does bottom become a tan color? Please make video of this. Ive looked on youtube a lot and come up with nothing. Thanks.

    EXCELLENT video topic!
...though, I have a bone to pick as a person who's been disabled by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (aka MEcfs or SEID). The term 'chronic fatigue syndrome' is falling out of favor, partially because that moniker gravely trivializes the life-ruining effects of this disease. Nonetheless, I get that the study may have called it this, so no shade intended.
That said, if you decide to reference MEcfs in another, please don't use clips of people simply looking fatigued. This illness is MUCH more serious than that, and it's perhaps already stigmatized much more than any other debilitating disease. Instead, show people who are in bed in a darkened room with shades drawn. Show ppl being tube-fed through their stomachs, people who have no income or support because they lost their jobs and their families abandoned them. Show images of a cell's mitochondria *not* producing ATP, and the extreme pain & paralysis-mimicking weakness that we endure. I'm happy to consult (no fee) if you need to depict anything related to MEcfs in the future.

These videos are becoming more professional each time! I do think it's beneficial to use the leftovers after making a (double) extract. Free fibers. Just dry it, make a powder and pour it over your soup or something. We westerners get way too little fiber. In my country (the Netherlands) the intake is 20gr. per day, that's just half of the recommended intake.
