The royal bow is usually my go-to bow simply because it's relatively common once you've played enough and it's got a decent durability and attack. Since I can find it pretty often, it's an unlimited bow source and it's pretty good. I appreciate you mentioning them, since they aren't the best but certainly not the worst.
One thing you failed to mention is that ancient proficiency set bonus works with the ancient bow, the only bow that does. So together with the set the damage would be 44 x 1.8 = 79,2 game will round it down to 79 damage. Effectively making it the best single shot bow by far. Edit: if you also eat a damage buff the total damage would be 79 x 1.5 = 118,5 but again the game rounds down the number to 118. Also Ancient weapons gets a 50% damage buff against Guardian type enemies. So when fighting guardians the maximum damage would go as high as 118 x 1.5 = 177 damage for a single arrow. In comparison a 5 shot lynel bow with a damage buff will do 48 x 5 = 240 damage if all five arrows hit.
Hello, does the game really stack the output damage like this or isn't it like the set-bonus and the eating damage buff don't stack and the game will just override with the last applied?
Emys Games Get a lynel bow of either 3 burst or 5 burst. Find a cooking pot and light your drawn arrow on fire. Shoot the arrows on the ground, then pick up the the 5 arrows on the floor. That’s one method

Good video. Golden Bow and Phrenic Bow deserve a little mention since they zoom in pretty far..they make some of the Korok seeds a breeze. Also, they are pretty good for hunting animals from a distance, especially deers. They don’t do much damage but in some cases, such as Korok seeds and deer hunting, they are definitely better than other bows.
It was a debate in my head... mostly because the falcon bow already has high shot range, and little by little I'm regretting it because I forgot about the zooming for both bows, but mostly the Phrenic Bow. It zooms and actually shoots far.. the golden bow has low distance. I'll think about what I can do now that I already posted to video =(
@@100PercentZelda huh? When I look it up, both the Golden and the Phrenic have a range rating of 40. In the video, you also mention the Forest Dweller's Bow having long range, but the range rating appears to be 20, which is the same as all the other short range bows.

Thank you for the video. I bought the Wii U version of BotW way back when it released. Just started playing around the time that TotK was being hyped up before release. So far, I seem to be 25 hours into the game. I finished one Divine Beast (Vah Ruta, the elephant). The interesting thing with that boss fight was how some of my weapons seemed overpowered, compared to Waterblight Ganon. One of the shrines must have given me a two-handed sword (Edge of Duality?) with 50 attack. It's either broken now, or flashing red. For stage two of Waterblight Ganon, I'm pretty sure that I had a Lizal(fos) bow with an attack of 36. Just a few shots from that finished him off (not even needing to hit his eye or stun him). I'm pretty sure I have the SSB Zelda amiibo who looks like the Zelda from Twilight Princess. I forget if she's ever dropped a Twilight Bow or not. It took multiple scans just for OoT Link to drop a Tunic of Time for me. Too many things I'd like to do in this game. They advertise it as "open world" or go anywhere; complete the dungeons and quests in any order. Why is it so hard to climb mountains, then? I've been upgrading my stamina (three extra segments) instead of asking for extra heart containers. I have the Climbing Bandana, but don't necessarily notice a difference in Link's climbing speed yet. The next thing I'll be trying are the speed potions/elixirs. The climbing shirt/tunic is apparently on that island towards the far East/Southeast of the map. I don't think I have enough powerful weapons to take down the Guardian (3,000 HP?). The boots are apparently part of a hidden shrine quest that I haven't activated yet.
Thank you for putting locations and showcasing the bows! Unfortunately I can't get the Twilight Bow because I haven't got the amiibo, but this video was so useful!
Tip: Once youre already far in the game and you normally go lynel hunting, than don’t be afraid in wasting a 3x or 5x bow, you can already kill lynels right? Then go and kill more once 1 breaks.
Might just use the royal guard bow more next play through since your guide on duplicating and transferring durability really helped me understand the glitch better
Great video as always! The information is well told with the most essential bows covered here. Very professional! There are two bows worth mentioning here you might have missed. 1. Phrenic Bow This one works as a non-metal alternative to the Twilight Bow which works great in specific situations. The zoom effect is a great asset while aiming precisely for critical hits on weak enemies/wildlife, you are also enable to use elemental arrows meanwhile depending on the situation. The Phrenic Bow also works fine in Korok seed hunting when bows are required, but it is not ideal for hunting dragon parts because of the bow’s limited range though. The choice between the two bows depends on how you are going to utilize their strengths. The Twilight has its unlimited range, doesn’t waste the resources of arrows and has better overall damage output. The Phrenic Bow works well with its precision and versatile use of elemental arrows. Swapping between the two when using them primarily as utility bows for preservation of durability could be a good idea, especially when thunderstorms comes to mind. 2. 3x Savage Lynel Bow with 50 dmg This one is just for the bomb arrows. When using 5x multi-shot bows, only three of the five bomb arrows will detonate (the two remaining will act as normal arrows). Having as much damage as possible is the optimal way to wipe off weak enemies grouped together in camps because the blast area of all bomb arrows together would be big enough to hit everything within the crowd. Otherwise, in a small enemy-group with less than 5 the Ancient Bow with Ancient Proficiency and attack- up effect stacked would work as well. That would produce the most powerful single bomb arrow in the game. There you have it! Keep this up dude! I love your stuff and I can’t wait for more! :)
Dude, you just earned my subscription. You just got me through end game Lionel farming and honestly, I feel like putting in the extra money for master mode and then buying to the kingdom as well. Keep up the great content🤟
Okay quick question Since Royal guard weapons have "Ancient technology" in their description do they get the ancient proficiency boost or are they still classified as "normal" weapons that only get attack boosts from attack dishes/Barbarian armor?
@@evdestroy4121 search up kleric and it should be his newest video but watch it first before you do the glitch because its hard and I did the glitch and have the bow of light its op
I made a new account, played through the great plateau and cheesed the master sword, then the final trials, then the four champion’s quests and got enough loot to start the transfer. I didn’t get any extra slots from hestu on my file to ensure that if I did this glitch that I would get everything. Along with only having enough items to sell, just to transfer the main gear. I find that this method always gives me 4, as long as I stand away from the counter. I’m dropping/equipping my bows, with menu overloaded active, I pause and hold 4 items then unpause and pull out my bow with ZR and unequip the bow with the quick menu. BEFORE selling the rest of the same 4 items previously picked, and then I sell them, and step away to pause and hold my 5th item. Drop it and pick it up. (That’s 4 slots completed) Then pull out my bow with ZR and pause, I’m still overloaded, so I just hold another 4 items, unpause, then again use ZR to pull out my bow and use the quick menu (D-Pad) to unequip the bow, pause, sell the 4 items and pause and hold the 5th item, to then drop it. (That’s 8) after completing this until I get enough to cover my inventory. The slots are corrupted from right to left and bottom to top. I have 7 key items, no meals, sellable items, 4 armor pieces, 4 shields, 6 arrow types, 5 bows(including the BoL) , and 2 swords = 28 slots needed. So I need 28 different sellable items with at least 2+ count of the items. After getting 28 slots ready, I use my travel medallion to get to ganon phase one, clap his cheeks, then obtain the bow on my horse, pause and return to the title, then open a new game + Remember the bow of light, needs to fit within the first 5 slots. Because the new game + won’t be able to load in a slot it doesn’t have. I clip out of the shrine of resurrection, get an auto save after clipping out, (clipping optional) then get a weapon, a shield, and a bow, and drop them all, then walk around and get another auto save. If everything is done, you can quit the game to disable your offset and then open it back and see if it worked. Remember never to save manually until you see that you have everything. Note: the new file you want the loot items on should have picked up one weapon one shield and one bow. Then drop them all before you close the game. I was having trouble with the new file loading until I found out you need to activate those weapon pick up text boxes. Now I have the bow of light on master mode.

Hey man, I love your tutorials, they always go into great depth... except for the twilight bow. I tried for literally 3 hours one night trying to get that thing. So I did a deep dive online and found out that the chances of getting it on the first drop are crazy, like 1/150, which doesn't mean drop 150 times and you'll get it. But, if you get a gem drop 4 times in a row the chances go to more like 1/15!

played normal mode from 2017 to 2018.. back at it but in master mode and learning glitches and amiibos makes it twice as fun, also getting ready for botw2!! your videos has been helpful!
Found this looking up Twilight bow, after searching best bows. After playing this game several times, I’m learning more and more on the internet since it’s been 3 years since I last thought I needed to look up botw stuff. Anyway just wanted to say that I got the Twilight bow after about 15 tries, using the technique someone else posted of saving bf u start using the amiibo. This way I just kept trying and reloading. Guess I got lucky, in less than 20 minutes got the bow. Only thing thing is I got it to get the dragon horns. Thought it would be cheaper in long run and possibly get me more horns with less effort.
It is a good bow... I was debating weather or not to put it.. but I forgot why I didn't... I think I assumed because the falcon bow shoot just as far..
You might not see this but the rivali amiibo drops a swallow bow with durability up. If you get that made into the eagle bow does it carry the durability up bonus?
With the savage lynel bow if you manage to get one with 32x5 then that's 160 damage but if you have the attack up x 3 the you can deal an astonishing 480 damage providing all arrows hit the target
@@100PercentZelda after doing some savage lynel hunting I did get a 32x5 it might just be that you've never managed to get it which is strange because on one of your other videos in the bottom left hand corner it says you've completed the game to 100%
@@100PercentZelda if you know, can you tell me where to get a buffed flamespear? Oh and one of the chests you showed us viewers that you said might have a buffed sledgehammer did work and now I have a 34 damage buffed sledgehammer. I dont know about the other one though.
I got a good Royal Bow in Zelda's room (Attack Up +18) but had no such luck with the one in the weapons room. Reloaded like 5 times and all I could get was quick shot. No big deal, I'll try again next blood moon.
My favorite is the ancient bow. It looks cool, it's got great durability, and it shoots super far so I can snipe stuff. Came in very handy during the beginning of the latest dlc XD
Since I don't use glitches the ancient bow has top level range and durability so fits for long range combat, close range I stick to the forest dwellers since it beats the first 2 lynel bows while still having the triple shot to instant kill guardians w/ancient arrow. Long range isn't important in most cases since you need to walk to where the target was to get the loot anyway. Golden bow has the zoom and 60 durability but the low damage leaves it as a weapon for dragon farming or korok seed challenges where that doesn't matter.
I prefer the Royal Bow to the Royal Guard's Bow just because of the higher base durability (I read that a non-Durability-Up, no-Durability-Transfer-glitch Royal Guard's Bow has literally HALF of a Royal Bow's base durability, which is...yikes), and it's VERY common around the map + you can usually find ones with high attack bonuses (I've found ones as high as 57dmg). After a certain XP level in the game, every Hinox that isn't involved in a shrine quest wears one, and there's one on the chandelier in the Dining Hall in Hyrule Castle + one in the weapons room off the Dining Hall with the lone Moblin inside + others scattered around the castle grounds
My go to Bow is The ancient bow it looks awesome it does good damage it has the most range and durability in the game if we’re not counting the twilight bow but an edge it has over the twilight bow is that you can use different kinds of arrows and if you’re good at killing guardians it’s not that hard to get Great video 👍
Just recently someone managed to glitch the bow of light into the main game. It has the second best range after the twilight bow, 100 attack and infinite durability (each time you shoot the durability change is 0)
@@superfleurs A bit late, but this bow can't break and have an unlimited pool of arrows. Also, it doesn't burn or attract lightning. Pretty hard to beat all this convenience imo.
to me the lynel bow and the ancient bow are the most helpful since with the ancient bow you can simply shoot in a straight line and not miss and with the lynel bow u can shoot 5 arrows
The video thumbnail shows the bow of light, did you take that screenshot while in Dark Beast Ganon fight or did you use a method to keep it after the fight?

You can actually get a Royal Guard's bow also in the dining hall. Use magnesis and you'll see it above you on one of the chandeliers 🙂
that’s a royal bow
Great video as always! The information is well told with the most essential bows covered here. Very professional!
There are two bows worth mentioning here you might have missed.
1. Phrenic Bow
This one works as a non-metal alternative to the Twilight Bow which works great in specific situations.
2. 3x Savage Lynel Bow with 50 dmg
This one is just for the bomb arrows.
you know.... after I made the video... I really wish I included the phrenic bow... but I didn't think of the 3x lynel bow which is also a good idea
@@100PercentZelda No problem man, that’s what the comment section is for. ;)
Dude, you just earned my subscription. You just got me through end game Lionel farming and honestly, I feel like putting in the extra money for master mode and then buying to the kingdom as well. Keep up the great content🤟
Okay quick question
Since Royal guard weapons have
"Ancient technology" in their description do they get the ancient proficiency boost or are they still classified as "normal" weapons that only get attack boosts from attack dishes/Barbarian armor?
I'm 98% sure they're considered normal weapons. I need to test it!
Actually I'm sure. I use the royal guard's Claymore a lot.. and nothing gets added to it with the ancient armor
@@100PercentZelda alright I just needed to make sure, thanks for helping
Gotta love how the best bow in the game is locked by a hard to find amiibo.
Just use the bow of light it's so op
@@Vibing_Fox It isn't worth the side-effects that breaking the game causes
@@evdestroy4121 the only side effect is you start a new game
@@Vibing_Fox oh, did they find a new way to get it without having to exit Ganon or something?
After getting 28 slots ready, I use my travel medallion to get to ganon phase one, clap his cheeks, then obtain the bow on my horse, pause and return to the title, then open a new game +
Remember the bow of light, needs to fit within the first 5 slots.
Great, now i need to know how to transfer durability with bows

Hey man, I love your tutorials, they always go into great depth... except for the twilight bow. I tried for literally 3 hours one night trying to get that thing. So I did a deep dive online and found out that the chances of getting it on the first drop are crazy, like 1/150, which doesn't mean drop 150 times and you'll get it. But, if you get a gem drop 4 times in a row the chances go to more like 1/15!
Thanks! This will help with the twilight bow

Thanks! I'm doing my best!
played normal mode from 2017 to 2018.. back at it but in master mode and learning glitches and amiibos makes it twice as fun, also getting ready for botw2!! your videos has been helpful!
As me who’s the beginner breath of the wild this is the best person you I could watch go to watch
It wasn’t mentioned for obvious reasons but the bow of light is nearly identical to the twilight bow, except I think it’s unbreakable
there's actually a royal guards bow in the dining room on top of the chandelier. You need to use magnesis to get it
I've found that the Phrenic Bow is also worth mentioning, since it makes some Korok shooting easier due to the zoom.
It is a good bow... I was debating weather or not to put it.. but I forgot why I didn't... I think I assumed because the falcon bow shoot just as far..
Golden bow does the same with more damage, although it attracts lightning.
2:26 how the hell do you get so many arrows
Love your vids!!! Savage Lynel Bow with 5 shot or max damage up?
I guess it's a preference, but you can have 5x 32 or 3x 50. One is 160, but all 5 arrows need to hit, and the other is 150, but it's less arrows
There’s also some interactions with elemental arrows and multi shot, damage up is probably better when using them.
You might not see this but the rivali amiibo drops a swallow bow with durability up. If you get that made into the eagle bow does it carry the durability up bonus?
Congrats on 1k!
thanks so much! It's exciting!
@@100PercentZelda are you doing a special episode or are you waiting till you have even more subscribers?
With the savage lynel bow if you manage to get one with 32x5 then that's 160 damage but if you have the attack up x 3 the you can deal an astonishing 480 damage providing all arrows hit the target
From what I know there's no 32x5 =( I wish!
@@100PercentZelda after doing some savage lynel hunting I did get a 32x5 it might just be that you've never managed to get it which is strange because on one of your other videos in the bottom left hand corner it says you've completed the game to 100%
Usually I go for a guickdraw for the royal guard bow. Because it's just so fast and it's nice to wind bomb with it.

Good choice!
If your having trouble with guardians Parry those guardian lasers back at them.
@@clarelay5032 I'm not having trouble with guardians, i'm killing them 3x faster with bows than slow parries.
How to get the clothes you can see in 5:03?
Its dlc armor
100 Percent Zelda Thx, now I have one more reason to buy the dlc
My go to Bow is The ancient bow it looks awesome it does good damage it has the most range and durability in the game if we’re not counting the twilight bow but an edge it has over the twilight bow is that you can use different kinds of arrows and if you’re good at killing guardians it’s not that hard to get Great video 👍
I can agree with this
Just recently someone managed to glitch the bow of light into the main game. It has the second best range after the twilight bow, 100 attack and infinite durability (each time you shoot the durability change is 0)
Thanks bro you just got new sub
Amazing! You're welcome! And welcome to the channel! Hope you enjoy future videos!

The Bow of Light is usually the bow am almost always using. Its soo much fun thanks to IST :).
What happens when that bow breaks? Are you able to get another?
@@superfleurs A bit late, but this bow can't break and have an unlimited pool of arrows. Also, it doesn't burn or attract lightning. Pretty hard to beat all this convenience imo.
I personally like my Falcon Quickshot as my primary as it has supurb range without any drawing time
it actually is a good bow
@@100PercentZelda it also helps that I use more for elemental effects or headshot ragdoll than damage

Where is the Falcon bow and the Phrenic bow?
I felt bad not including them. mostly the phrenic bow
Nice and helpful Video!
to me the lynel bow and the ancient bow are the most helpful since with the ancient bow you can simply shoot in a straight line and not miss and with the lynel bow u can shoot 5 arrows
I learned something new from this. I thought savage lynel bows were the only with the 5x bonus, but I was wrong.
Haha! Nice! You must have been lucky!
I love the acent bow and the savage Lynle. And the steel lizal bow and royal guards bow
those are good bows too!
The video thumbnail shows the bow of light, did you take that screenshot while in Dark Beast Ganon fight or did you use a method to keep it after the fight?
during the beast fight. Took my a while to find a picture i liked. haha
I really like the duplex bow because if you dont hit the first shot the second one will probably hit
Do a ultra instinct video, using the bullet time, flurry rush, deflect/reflex, and the training methods for the enemies that the ultra instinct training is made to counter.
Great content man, earned yourself a sub! :D
thank so much! I hope to continue to deliver! =)
Royal guards bow is my go 2 bow cuz I duplicate the twilight bow and then transfer durability also I have almost max slots on bow inv
I like the royal guarda bow because It has a powerful strenght and It Is pretty common in hyrule Castle
Why did you not talk about the bow of light. I know it is very hard to get and you have to reset your world but is it really just not that good?
5:06 is that an amiibo armor?
It is a DLC gear
@@100PercentZelda thanks for replying, which one is it? I have the full expansion pack

What’s the song in the beginning and at 2:02?
What horse were you riding?
Its the fastest horse. Out northwest of the thunder plateau. But the saddle and bridle i use is the ancient ones from the dlc
I personally think the glitch videos are the most entertaining, but the farming ones are the most useful. I suggest you try to focus on the things you’ve figured out that no one else has, like getting 21 fairies. As far as I know, that isn’t anywhere else on TH-cam.
Thanks so much! I definitely will look into more farming videos because I feel like there are some farming videos, but not many of the ones I needed when I started farming. I did however get the fairy glitch from youtube. Also, I am trying to have the channel with most of the zelda answers. So I might have some videos that have been said elsewhere, but I'm looking the be the channel with all the answers in the future. Thanks for the advice! I will definitely start with those things =)

I'm so glad you came too! Welcome! Hope you enjoy!
Just asking, but why is the light arrow now in the thumbnail but you don't mention it
Because you only get the bow against Ganon.
Tip for any people not using durability transfer glitches
Don’t bother with royal guard weapons, they suck ass with their durability
Is there a video about potions? Cuz i always see that half an hour max speed boost but i can manage to do a 5 min one only
actually the answer is simple! dragon horns give you automatic 30 minutes =)
@@100PercentZelda wow, thanks
@@xxgioxx7688 you're welcome! =)
The question was about potions, and dragon parts, oddly enough, only effect food. If you want 30 minutes, you need to cook with dragon parts, not make a potion.
5:03 how do you get the armor?
Do you have a video on how to get 999 elemental arrows? If not could you possibly do one soon?
Something I can look into. I don't have a specific method in doing so.. I personally just didn't use them that often.. but this would be a good video to make in the future, but there would be just some research I would have to do
I believe AustinJohn made a video on that. I’m not 100% if he covered how to do them all without Trial Of The Sword Glitch (which is patched)
