The royal bow is usually my go-to bow simply because it's relatively common once you've played enough and it's got a decent durability and attack. Since I can find it pretty often, it's an unlimited bow source and it's pretty good. I appreciate you mentioning them, since they aren't the best but certainly not the worst.
One thing you failed to mention is that ancient proficiency set bonus works with the ancient bow, the only bow that does. So together with the set the damage would be 44 x 1.8 = 79,2 game will round it down to 79 damage. Effectively making it the best single shot bow by far. Edit: if you also eat a damage buff the total damage would be 79 x 1.5 = 118,5 but again the game rounds down the number to 118. Also Ancient weapons gets a 50% damage buff against Guardian type enemies. So when fighting guardians the maximum damage would go as high as 118 x 1.5 = 177 damage for a single arrow. In comparison a 5 shot lynel bow with a damage buff will do 48 x 5 = 240 damage if all five arrows hit.
Hello, does the game really stack the output damage like this or isn't it like the set-bonus and the eating damage buff don't stack and the game will just override with the last applied?

Good video. Golden Bow and Phrenic Bow deserve a little mention since they zoom in pretty far..they make some of the Korok seeds a breeze. Thanks man! As someone who is doing their first play through of botw, any help I can get really helps. The only thing I have left to do is defeat ganon now! Tour vids have really helped!
Thank you for the video. I bought the Wii U version of BotW way back when it released. Just started playing around the time that TotK was being hyped up before release. So far, I seem to be 25 hours into the game. I finished one Divine Beast (Vah Ruta, the elephant). The interesting thing with that boss fight was how some of my weapons seemed overpowered, compared to Waterblight Ganon. One of the shrines must have given me a two-handed sword (Edge of Duality?) with 50 attack. It's either broken now, or flashing red. For stage two of Waterblight Ganon, I'm pretty sure that I had a Lizal(fos) bow with an attack of 36. Just a few shots from that finished him off (not even needing to hit his eye or stun him). I'm pretty sure I have the SSB Zelda amiibo who looks like the Zelda from Twilight Princess. I forget if she's ever dropped a Twilight Bow or not. It took multiple scans just for OoT Link to drop a Tunic of Time for me. Too many things I'd like to do in this game. They advertise it as "open world" or go anywhere; complete the dungeons and quests in any order. Why is it so hard to climb mountains, then? I've been upgrading my stamina (three extra segments) instead of asking for extra heart containers. I have the Climbing Bandana, but don't necessarily notice a difference in Link's climbing speed yet. The next thing I'll be trying are the speed potions/elixirs. The climbing shirt/tunic is apparently on that island towards the far East/Southeast of the map. I don't think I have enough powerful weapons to take down the Guardian (3,000 HP?). The boots are apparently part of a hidden shrine quest that I haven't activated yet.
played normal mode from 2017 to 2018.. back at it but in master mode and learning glitches and amiibos makes it twice as fun, also getting ready for botw2!! your videos has been helpful!
to me the lynel bow and the ancient bow are the most helpful since with the ancient bow you can simply shoot in a straight line and not miss and with the lynel bow u can shoot 5 arrows

Found this looking up Twilight bow, after searching best bows. After playing this game several times, I’m learning more and more on the internet since it’s been 3 years since I last thought I needed to look up botw stuff. Anyway just wanted to say that I got the Twilight bow after about 15 tries, using the technique someone else posted of saving bf u start using the amiibo. This way I just kept trying and reloading. Guess I got lucky, in less than 20 minutes got the bow. Only thing thing is I got it to get the dragon horns. Thought it would be cheaper in long run and possibly get me more horns with less effort.
Do a ultra instinct video, using the bullet time, flurry rush, deflect/reflex, and the training methods for the enemies that the ultra instinct training is made to counter.
@@superfleurs A bit late, but this bow can't break and have an unlimited pool of arrows. Also, it doesn't burn or attract lightning. Pretty hard to beat all this convenience imo.
Just recently someone managed to glitch the bow of light into the main game. It has the second best range after the twilight bow, 100 attack and infinite durability (each time you shoot the durability change is 0)
The video thumbnail shows the bow of light, did you take that screenshot while in Dark Beast Ganon fight or did you use a method to keep it after the fight?
Hey man, I love your tutorials, they always go into great depth... except for the twilight bow. I tried for literally 3 hours one night trying to get that thing. So I did a deep dive online and found out that the chances of getting it on the first drop are crazy, like 1/150, which doesn't mean drop 150 times and you'll get it. But, if you get a gem drop 4 times in a row the chances go to more like 1/15!
@@100PercentZelda Yep, I should have known better than to think I was teaching YOU something, lol... thanks for the info. That page with all the drop percentages is HUGE! I'm definitely subscribing.
I personally think the glitch videos are the most entertaining, but the farming ones are the most useful. I suggest you try to focus on the things you’ve figured out that no one else has, like getting 21 fairies. As far as I know, that isn’t anywhere else on TH-cam.
Thanks so much! I definitely will look into more farming videos because I feel like there are some farming videos, but not many of the ones I needed when I started farming. I did however get the fairy glitch from youtube. Also, I am trying to have the channel with most of the zelda answers. So I might have some videos that have been said elsewhere, but I'm looking the be the channel with all the answers in the future. Thanks for the advice! I will definitely start with those things =)
Since I don't use glitches the ancient bow has top level range and durability so fits for long range combat, close range I stick to the forest dwellers since it beats the first 2 lynel bows while still having the triple shot to instant kill guardians w/ancient arrow. Long range isn't important in most cases since you need to walk to where the target was to get the loot anyway. Golden bow has the zoom and 60 durability but the low damage leaves it as a weapon for dragon farming or korok seed challenges where that doesn't matter.
In a future video, could you possibly do a tutorial on wind bombing? I know you might have other plans and not be interested in doing it, but I would greatly appreciate it.
I appreciate the vote in confidence in my work =) The only problem is... I'm not actually very good at wind bombing... I haven't taking the time to learn about it that much. I only know basics. The wind bombing you may see in some of my videos might actually be me taking multiple shots until I did it right. haha! There are a few videos already on youtube explaining it, but I actually can't help in this category =( thank you so much for thinking about me doing it though! =)
I prefer the Royal Bow to the Royal Guard's Bow just because of the higher base durability (I read that a non-Durability-Up, no-Durability-Transfer-glitch Royal Guard's Bow has literally HALF of a Royal Bow's base durability, which is...yikes), and it's VERY common around the map + you can usually find ones with high attack bonuses (I've found ones as high as 57dmg). After a certain XP level in the game, every Hinox that isn't involved in a shrine quest wears one, and there's one on the chandelier in the Dining Hall in Hyrule Castle + one in the weapons room off the Dining Hall with the lone Moblin inside + others scattered around the castle grounds
I love the Duplex Bow, the Forest Dweller Bow, the Great Eagle Bow, Swallow Bow, and both kinds of Lynel Bows. I like Ancient Bow, Falcon Bow, Royal Guard Bow ( _black one you showed_ ). I accept low tier Bobo-bows. But I can't stand the golden bow. I forgot it's name. Royal something as well. The game keeps THROWING them at me and I just, hate them. I know my main reason for loving the bows I listed is because they have moving bits on them like feathers and stuff. I just love that, it looks soo good. And Lynel bows are just fun to jump out and go " _MOU SHINDERU DA_ " - " _NANI!?_" at stuff. I probably butchered that meme.
With the savage lynel bow if you manage to get one with 32x5 then that's 160 damage but if you have the attack up x 3 the you can deal an astonishing 480 damage providing all arrows hit the target
@@100PercentZelda after doing some savage lynel hunting I did get a 32x5 it might just be that you've never managed to get it which is strange because on one of your other videos in the bottom left hand corner it says you've completed the game to 100%
I got a good Royal Bow in Zelda's room (Attack Up +18) but had no such luck with the one in the weapons room. Reloaded like 5 times and all I could get was quick shot. No big deal, I'll try again next blood moon.

Also i wanted to say thanks, your weapon durability and duplication guide completely changed how I play BotW for the better. I wish you luck with your channel may it grow and Hylia's Blessing to you.
You might not see this but the rivali amiibo drops a swallow bow with durability up. If you get that made into the eagle bow does it carry the durability up bonus?
great video. i'd suggest taking quick shot option in the consideration also. compare how fast the falcon bow, royal guard bow, and other bows, with or without quick shot option, and if the speedup buff could effect them additionally. i have very samiliar bow collection like u but the royal guard's bows are quick shot version.
Is it really rare to get one of the royal guard weapons with a bonus? Or was that patched or require more than one Divine Beast for the bonuses? I've done dozens of both bows now and have yet to see either have any bonus at all lol (only have one Beast completed) Fantastic series of vids! Edit, think I found the answer on the shields video comments, I seem to not be far enough to generate mods on them lol
I don’t really care what bows are the best, I have a pretty permanent set of bows all for aesthetic purposes. The bow I use the most would be a savage Lynel bow I use while Lynel hunting, which means I can swap it out for a new fresh one once I’m done hunting
Something I can look into. I don't have a specific method in doing so.. I personally just didn't use them that often.. but this would be a good video to make in the future, but there would be just some research I would have to do

Tip: Once youre already far in the game and you normally go lynel hunting, than don’t be afraid in wasting a 3x or 5x bow, you can already kill lynels right? Then go and kill more once 1 breaks.
Yeah I tend to save them too much even though I can kill lynels in like 20 seconds
Thats my problem, i always use the weakest weapon/shield
Dude, you just earned my subscription. You just got me through end game Lionel farming and honestly, I feel like putting in the extra money for master mode and then buying to the kingdom as well. Keep up the great content🤟
Thanks man! As someone who is doing their first play through of botw, any help I can get really helps. The only thing I have left to do is defeat ganon now! Tour vids have really helped!
Thank you! Glad I can help you enjoy the game! and good luck with Ganon. but either way, you wont need, it because you'll be fine. =)
I can't get a twilight bow cuz no amiibo. But I should say the golden bow does good for distance. Perfect for harvesting dragon horn.
that's true! I wish I made this video a little later so I could mention the glitch..
Thanks for adding the location for the bow as well as many times I see or read about a weapon, but I have no clue where to look for it
there's actually a royal guards bow in the dining room on top of the chandelier. You need to use magnesis to get it
Thank you for the video.
I learned something new from this. I thought savage lynel bows were the only with the 5x bonus, but I was wrong.
Haha! Nice! You must have been lucky!
played normal mode from 2017 to 2018.. back at it but in master mode and learning glitches and amiibos makes it twice as fun, also getting ready for botw2!! your videos has been helpful!
As me who’s the beginner breath of the wild this is the best person you I could watch go to watch
to me the lynel bow and the ancient bow are the most helpful since with the ancient bow you can simply shoot in a straight line and not miss and with the lynel bow u can shoot 5 arrows
i know for a fact that this youtuber is gonna get hella subs also thanks for telling me about these bows also i know for a fact every youtuber that i watch doesnt give this much information so thank you for the help
thanks so much! too kind =)
It wasn’t mentioned for obvious reasons but the bow of light is nearly identical to the twilight bow, except I think it’s unbreakable
The Bow of Light is usually the bow am almost always using. Its soo much fun thanks to IST :).
What happens when that bow breaks? Are you able to get another?
@@superfleurs A bit late, but this bow can't break and have an unlimited pool of arrows. Also, it doesn't burn or attract lightning. Pretty hard to beat all this convenience imo.
Just recently someone managed to glitch the bow of light into the main game. It has the second best range after the twilight bow, 100 attack and infinite durability (each time you shoot the durability change is 0)
The video thumbnail shows the bow of light, did you take that screenshot while in Dark Beast Ganon fight or did you use a method to keep it after the fight?
during the beast fight. Took my a while to find a picture i liked. haha
Thanks! This will help with the twilight bow

@@100PercentZelda Yep, I should have known better than to think I was teaching YOU something, lol... thanks for the info. That page with all the drop percentages is HUGE! I'm definitely subscribing.

Yay!!! It finally happened! Thank you!
It is awesome!
Can u do a vid of “Best swords, why, and where to find?”
That is coming soon! Sort of... You'll see when it happens =)
Thanks bro you just got new sub
Amazing! You're welcome! And welcome to the channel! Hope you enjoy future videos!
I like your channel keep it up
I really like the duplex bow because if you dont hit the first shot the second one will probably hit
I appreciate you for thanking me for watching but I thank you for bringing contact like this out for people like me that are interested in it.
You're so welcome!
Thank you for such informative videos! I found your videos on a whim and find them really useful!
You are so welcome, and thank you so much =)
Royal bow for all around, savage lynel bow for lynels hunt, And ancient bow for long distance sniping, shoots very straight.
2:55 Ancient Bow (Best Single-shot Durability Bow FTP) -- 3:21 Savage Lynel Bow (High Damage/med Durability)-- 4:18 Great Eagle Bow (Overall Solid w/quick release)-- 4:56 Royal Gaurd Bow (Strongest Single-shot w/ Low Durability & med range)-- 7:02 Bow Inventory
If your having trouble with guardians Parry those guardian lasers back at them.
@@clarelay5032 I'm not having trouble with guardians, i'm killing them 3x faster with bows than slow parries.
Keep up the great work, dude.
Thanks! I'm doing my best!
Tip for any people not using durability transfer glitches
Don’t bother with royal guard weapons, they suck ass with their durability
I personally like my Falcon Quickshot as my primary as it has supurb range without any drawing time
it actually is a good bow
@@100PercentZelda it also helps that I use more for elemental effects or headshot ragdoll than damage
@@100PercentZelda No problem, really! Thanks for taking the time to even consider my question. Can't wait for that sword video to come out!
Great content man, earned yourself a sub! :D
thank so much! I hope to continue to deliver!
I know how to duplicate weapons, Shields, Bows and specifically the Savage Lynel Bow, ancient blade saw, Hylian Shield.
nice! isn't it great!
I’m so glad to have come across your channel :’D it’s super helpful! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge of the game!
I'm so glad you came too! Welcome! Hope you enjoy!
I like the royal guarda bow because It has a powerful strenght and It Is pretty common in hyrule Castle
Harth does a good job, he's repaired 7 bows so far, for me.
With the savage lynel bow if you manage to get one with 32x5 then that's 160 damage but if you have the attack up x 3 the you can deal an astonishing 480 damage providing all arrows hit the target
From what I know there's no 32x5 =( I wish!
@@100PercentZelda after doing some savage lynel hunting I did get a 32x5 it might just be that you've never managed to get it which is strange because on one of your other videos in the bottom left hand corner it says you've completed the game to 100%
I honestly think the boko bow should have made the list. It is not good for combat, but it is a great bow for hunting.
Edit: this is just my opinion
Fair enough! =) Everyone is allowed opinions, and who cares what others think. You like what you like =)
if rarity isnt a factor, the ancient bow would be the best cause of its amazing stats and raw power
Nah ancient bow is pretty garbage because of it’s painfully slow draw speed.
I got a good Royal Bow in Zelda's room (Attack Up +18) but had no such luck with the one in the weapons room. Reloaded like 5 times and all I could get was quick shot. No big deal, I'll try again next blood moon.
Thanks! This is really useful!
You are so welcome! I'm happy to help!
Great video! Can’t wait till the next one. Do you ever stream?
Something I plan to do in the future, but I don't know how far in the future. I don't really have the right equipment. You would still watch if i didn't have a camera on me right? =)

Is it possible to get a Lv2 Durability up bonus on the Twilight Bow? You know the golden diamond icon. Also i wanted to say thanks, your weapon durability and duplication guide completely changed how I play BotW for the better. I wish you luck with your channel may it grow and Hylia's Blessing to you.
From what I know, you can't. And also, thank you so much! I'm happy to help! =)
Never underestimate the usefulness of the golden/phrenic bow
I'll be honest, I should have gave them an honorable mention
You might not see this but the rivali amiibo drops a swallow bow with durability up. If you get that made into the eagle bow does it carry the durability up bonus?
Nobody:
The intro: "Hi Hylians!"
Me: *A zora*
you're a zora!?
i eat zora for dinner
Love this man tbh just started a 100% casual play through and this is sooooo helpful
great video.
i'd suggest taking quick shot option in the consideration also.
compare how fast the falcon bow, royal guard bow, and other bows, with or without quick shot option, and if the speedup buff could effect them additionally.
i have very samiliar bow collection like u but the royal guard's bows are quick shot version.
Is it really rare to get one of the royal guard weapons with a bonus? Or was that patched or require more than one Divine Beast for the bonuses? I've done dozens of both bows now and have yet to see either have any bonus at all lol (only have one Beast completed)
Fantastic series of vids!
Edit, think I found the answer on the shields video comments, I seem to not be far enough to generate mods on them lol
Yeah, there's like an experience aspect to the game where monsters and weapons level up the more enemies you kill
@@100PercentZelda gotcha, thank you!
I don’t really care what bows are the best, I have a pretty permanent set of bows all for aesthetic purposes. The bow I use the most would be a savage Lynel bow I use while Lynel hunting, which means I can swap it out for a new fresh one once I’m done hunting
Congrats on 1k!
thanks so much! It's exciting!
@@100PercentZelda are you doing a special episode or are you waiting till you have even more subscribers?
I love the acent bow and the savage Lynle. And the steel lizal bow and royal guards bow
those are good bows too!
Do you have a video on how to get 999 elemental arrows? If not could you possibly do one soon?
Something I can look into. I don't have a specific method in doing so.. I personally just didn't use them that often.. but this would be a good video to make in the future, but there would be just some research I would have to do
I believe AustinJohn made a video on that. I’m not 100% if he covered how to do them all without Trial Of The Sword Glitch (which is patched)
Usually I go for a guickdraw for the royal guard bow. Because it's just so fast and it's nice to wind bomb with it.
it's a great bow

whether weapons burn is also important, you can't effectively use flammable weapons in death mountain.

Okay quick question
Since Royal guard weapons have
"Ancient technology" in their description do they get the ancient proficiency boost or are they still classified as "normal" weapons that only get attack boosts from attack dishes/Barbarian armor?
I'm 98% sure they're considered normal weapons. I need to test it!
Actually I'm sure. I use the royal guard's Claymore a lot.. and nothing gets added to it with the ancient armor
@@100PercentZelda alright I just needed to make sure, thanks for helping
Where is the Falcon bow and the Phrenic bow?
I felt bad not including them. mostly the phrenic bow
Nice and helpful Video!
I love this chanel, is the best chanel for botw.
Thanks so much! I appreciate it!
My main bow is just a soldier’s with a durability transfer with an ancient bow. I was always a better fan of the smaller wooden bows, as most of the other bows just look too ornate to me.
yeah, sometimes I like to use the ancient bow just to look cool too
I think you should have best lynal killing weapons and what you need to make it work.
Dude you already got 1k huge congrats
Thanks so much! you've seen the journey. haha
Could you stream on Twitch or TH-cam when you are farming materials?
It's something I'm considering, but I don't really have to gear and space to do so =( I plan to move within a year, and maybe I can do this. I'm considering maybe just posting some raw footage videos
@@100PercentZelda raw footage videos are better than nothing!
Want to know my top 5 best bows in breath of the wild? Here they are! 5! the royal guard's bow. I have always been a fan of royal guard weapons. the reason why I love it so much is because most royal guard weapons break in like... 12 hits without any glitches or hacks. But the royal guards bow dose not break for a good.... 33 hits. And that makes me happy. Okay on to the next one! 4! the forest dwellers bow five shot burst. Now I love this bow just for fun. I just love the bows with five shot burst! 3! the savage lynel bow durability up +. Most would know that this one would be on the list. And I just llllllllllooooooooovvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeee the savage lynel bow. And I like the durability up + because it can last a good 74 hits. 2! the ancient bow. A bow with the power only a true hero can wield! I love the ancient bow because if the player has attack up + three and ancient proficiency at once a normal arrow will do 118 damage if the ancient bow is being used. That alone makes it so cool. Here are some quick things to say before going to 1. Here are some bows that almost got onto my list. 1. royal bow. 2. great eagle bow 3. twilight bow. Now get ready..... [{0(!/.>1
