A simple Google search can teach you that the military spendings of the US is more than the next ten countries combined. Given their spendings on military, their history of meddling in the Middle-East and the toppling of regimes with the help of media, and given they see Mainland China to overtake their own economy, it would be naive to think that the US did not interfere in Hong Kong. Especially if you see how well-organised the Hong Kong youngsters were. I have seen soccer riots of drunk supporters in Europe before. Most of the days, it was over within a day. This was something different.

This requires a lot of monetary support. Yes donations were abundant at that time. In recent years, the NED has trained, supported and funded demonstrations and regime-change ops in Venezuela, Ukraine and Nicaragua, designed to look like grassroots uprisings. Now it has target Hong Kong.
I did.

A real free market! But unfortunately I must pay my tax every month, and it inklusive also the budgets for building and maintenance for the resources channel for Hongkong ... Great Job Hong Kong!! 🇭🇰
keep going, people of HK ~~~ we are with you ~~~
If you're not rich or have enough money to get gears, you probably shouldn't protest. Get a decent job 1st, cuz peaceful protests cost a lot, you need industrial grade respiratory masks, high power laser pointer, etc.
Some of these protestors used them to cause damage. Check out yesterday's videos at HK airport
catch up, my man. They use and have used laser pointer to annoy police, cause damage to people's eyes on several occasions. I.e. yesterday at the airport.
@john doe you really don't know? you watched only western media?
They used stones, sticks and laser point pens to attack the police, you only see the videos which the police is beating back the mob,the mob set the roadblock to block traffic and it has hindered the stabilize of HK
Impressive is not the word I'd use, friend. The way these protestors behave now is unacceptable. I get their frustration, but come on, you can't attack police, beat up a person who wears I love HK police shirt, set up roadblocks and cause public panic. Hell, they threw a Chinese national flag into the river, raise the US, UK flag as if they're not Chinese people. Imagine these acts happening in any democratic country. Are you still going to say it's impressive that one of my countrymen did all of this. Cuz this is exactly the point why we started protesting.

@@ooo6845 You're BSing us. These rioters are from every levels everywhere and every school from HK.
I don't see how this video addresses the question on why are they using violence? Everyone seems pretty free to amass, they even have stations all over the streets as the video points out. There's no law enforcement stopping them from doing that. When you block roads from commuter travel, break car windows, suspend airports, attack people with different political views, or infiltrate and vandalize government buildings, that is not acceptable and all of those things also happen. How does this video help address those concerns??
@Sophia Eleftheria No I refuse to shutup, i have an opinion and I intend to allow my views and opinions to be heard! Instead of addressing my concerns, you're reverting back to political discrimination that carries no weight on how Hong Kong is actually governed today. What I can say that's a matter of fact are people are getting beat up, bombs are thrown at law enforcement officers, buildings are broken into and private properties are being destroyed in Hong Kong, and that is wrong! I won't shutup, I will keep saying it so Hong Kong can be peaceful and not descend into chaos! We support unity, not division. We support peace and not violence, we support China and Chinese people to live in harmony. Sorry but not sorry; I will keep talking! I don't believe in silencing opposing views, which I find hypocritical that you are telling me to not speak my mind and then criticize about dictatorships and etc.

In that situation, the police intentionally disappeared and came only after the violent gang to attack citizens. The gang was hired by a China elected Hong Kong legislative representative. Many abuses and violence were done in this way to the Hong Kong people to the point they felt fear and paranoia in their daily lives.
They started the protests peacefully, but the police came to stop them in the evening and started being aggressive and violent first. The protestors have burned or vandelized a lot of China mainland business to run them out, as Hong Kong was meant to govern themselves until 2047 when China, who agreed, is supposed to regain rule. For the most part the protesters try to remain peaceful. They use umbrelles to block the tear gass and pellets as some of them have been blinded. They use the molotov cocktails to keep space between them and the police.
The China side continues to hire gang members some who pose as protesters and do violent things to unarmed citizens to frame the protestors as being violent. The police in order to capture and arrest protesters go undercover and dress like protesters to get close to them.
It's a real mess. It took me 2 days of serious research to uncover the truth, but I did so by talking to both mainland China people and Hong Kong people. Mainland China is still trying to maintain control by not agreeing to the 5 demands so the protests are continuing.
@@maka7600 The problem with everything you wrote is that it's just accusations without proof. It's fed by your own inner negative bias on China. Also you slipped in disinformation in your talks. HK is suppose to govern itself under the 'Basic Law' which stipulates China appoints the panel of governors. HK dont even have an opportunity to choose under British and now get to vote on a panel of folks.
You are saying things like "chinese continue to hire gang members". Or "intentionally disappear". That is just your theory, you do not have conclusive proof on this. It's the same as China accuse British and USA of meddling to provoke these actions, but they dont have substantive proof. I also see alot of videos where China supporters get beaten up with umbrellas open to cover the camera and no police present, did they also "intentionally" disappear? What I am here to state is facts that cannot be disprove.
1. There is violence, you just mentioned China stores are broken into, that is wrong. You are breaking into stores that have nothing to do with the policies you are unhappy about, they do not create HK laws but then must suffer. There is video and proof of this.
2. China interfere with HK based on the plain writing that is described under basic law. Presence of Chinese mainlanders and stores in existence does not mean interference. If that means interference then what about all the American stores and British stores, Japanese, Korean and etc etc stores open in HK? Louie Vuitton stores open in HK. Is that all interference?
You have a negative Chinese bias so you apply double standard on them that you dont apply to other people that you don't dislike. China did not even force HK to learn Mandarin in schools, but yet HK schools teach english which is not a native language to HK. How come you don't get upset over that? I bet you will be upset if they teach Mandarin. How come? You are biased...

I love Hongkong. I have been there twice as travellers. Hong Kong is a good example where east and west meets. They had to fight for their rights during the colonial period. Now once again, they stand up again. They don't need to separate from the mainland. They just want to protect what their ancestors built up, human right and democracy. Any persons or system pursue powers, they don't like what social class calls human right, freedoom as those prevent them from what they want.

No one is supplying Hong Kong protestors. Some poor protestors are starving because they spend all their money on gears for themselves and others. Numerous normal HK citizens donate money or food coupons or supplies to support them. At the end of many big protests, you can find a lot of cash change and subway tickets piled up in stations for protestors. Many people donate and use other ways to support protestors because they do not have the physical ability to go out and protest like them, or they have a family to take care of at home. People who keep saying they are paid to make trouble in hk, please use some common sense. Why would they choose to do such dangerous actions, risk to be shot, risk to be arrested or even risk the chance of being dead, when they can choose to be paid by triads to hit protestors with sticks and metal rods without being arrested because the police will protect them and help triads? Are you kidding? These front line protestors have a will in their backpacks. They are ready to die if it can help HK get back freedom and lawful order.
