Great honest review, I wanted to try Northwest for a few LLCs I plan to setup, and that was such a red flag. Bizee is not perfect, but damn, that email you got was hostile and not from someone I want to call a partner. And the right thing to do is so easy, "we saw your review, how can we do better?" If that had happened you would have probably done a video of how cool they were!!!
I currently have an S-Corp trademark and definitely want to use your handle to actually start y business. But I really would love to know what are the pros & cons of an S Corp versus LLC, I’m familiar with being sued plays a large factor in the difference. I want to have a bed & breakfast in my home & gospel lounge in down time. Please advise
Main difference is the ability to take an owners draw or what’s referred to as a distribution with an S-Corp. That is not subject to self-employment taxes which are 15.3% I believe. But you have to pay yourself a reasonable salary. Usually it only makes sense to go to the S Corp once you’re making 40-50k Net profit because before that amount your extra costs and hassle for the s Corp doesn’t make sense. But you can transition from an LLC to an s Corp later on by filling out a form with the IRS that elects that you be taxed and treated as an S Corp.
