I like what I see. I’m rather surprised that the PAT for MPD is conducting sit-ups that fashion. That’s a very good way to end up with neck and head injuries. Best of luck addressing this concern. Semper Fi
why isnt anyone telling about what is a great and average time for Runs and then push ups/sit ups as well as 300 meter run?? weird !!!
My PAT is on Wednesday! Super excited
did you pass ?
How did it go? I’m scheduled in December.
@@janae231 i passed yeah, all i can say is work on ur sit ups. Thats where almost everyone failed
@@tosheacollier2039 i passed yeah
@@marcialmoreno7704 how many was the requirement?
I heard there’s a new scoring system, anyone what that is?
How much rest time do you have between the push ups, sit ups, and 300 meter run?
Probably like 5 minutes
Is there a new scoring system
@@MisterRecapHerehow so?
@@GigaChad-tr4zjyou need 120 points to pass the physical 1 min maximum effort push up and for sit-ups, latest time on 1.5 mile is 15 mins and 300 meters is 72 seconds

Is this for corrections or police?
Regular patrol police
For the 1.5 mile is 13:08 min the minimum to pass? That seems extremely hard.
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but I took month of running everyday to hit 11:40 and I was 210lbs at 5'9" when I started training
I know it’s a weird question, but can you wear track cleats for this test?
Why would you ? But yeah
@@osmainoslin420 easier to run in grass
@@mynameisnotimportant2854 ur on a track not grass
what is the minimum requirement to pass this ?
Wet tty u dit gjffu
Never aim for minimum.
@@bobafett4141 all it takes is the bare minimum
How relevant is this test
Exactly! Then, you see police officers out of shape three weeks after the academy. 😂
Can females do the modified pushups?
Andreina Diaz pussy push ups you mean?
@Raffaello Cervera he has a point regardless. If you can do genuine pushups why would I trust you having my back
@@bobafett4141 it is not like she's gotta shoot at people by doing pushups
Did you take the test ??
Aerobic capacity is irrelevant for police work. You won't be in a foot chase for 1.5 miles. Outdated test. MDPD's test should be the standard.
If you're fat lazy and out of shape just say that....
uh... so you expect the officers to just turn around and hop back in their car instead of chasing them?
say the suspect was, idk, anywhere... like a store or diner. there car is not in the store with them
Females are same as men..... why not use a fist??
i think the issue is harassment
This is cake compared to browards test. It's such a joke
