I seriously like startalk's ads. They are strictly on point, and they are never ads for scam products, services, or businesses. We don't have to hear about some random guy's erectile dysfunction. We aren't forced to sit through 2 minutes of torture watching image after image of horribly mistreated animals while a rather annoying soundtrack plays in the background. I just wish there were ads from colleges, advertising the education they offer and how to go about enrolling in classes. Ads which show the fun there is within science in general. Ads which romanticize learning. In a society inexplicably controlled directly by advertisements, it seem logical to flood the advertising market with the promotion of educating one's self. After all, there is nowhere on Earth to turn where one does not have at least 3 ads forced upon them. If people are told by ads that they should educate, they will. Heck, people pay for extremely expensive urine each and every day disguised in the form of vitamins, just because an ad tells them they need it. Even though 90% of those vitamins never get absorbed into the body, they line up in waves to hand over a lot of money for them. Direct evidence that the masses will do almost anything an ad tells them they should. Why not use that built in gullibility to guide society into educating once again? Create spherical minds with education and everything "flat" will suddenly become one of those "Remember back when..." stories. I mean sure, eventually society will educate beyond being able to be controlled via ads and "news media". But by then, education will have taken a strong hold. The damage will have been minimized if not eliminated.

Yo
Billions of stars in an infinite universe and we ended up with NDT on Saturdar Night Live....
What are the odds?
Neil ur the greatest thing ever happen in 2021 period on how u been educating the public from what 's impossible
This Sean Lennon certainly got a good education
he reads a lot and watches documentaries
He's not his father, but the way he described math and music and art kind of reminded me of John.
@@momszycat4148 "He's not his father" ???! What the heck is that supposed to mean? He's a very smart guy. Could be that he's smarter than his Dad. I'm SURE he's sick and tired of being compared to his father (who I loved)
@@rollinmark8952 it means he's a smart, articulate, talented guy in his own right, but not the genius John was. I'm sure all kids of famous ppl do get tired of being compared, but that's just human nature. If you study music you know Lennon/McCartney duo was a unique team. Their music will be enjoyed for generations, which it already has. I'm not saying anything derogatory about Sean,on the contrary. I'm saying, imo,John was a special person with rare talent,Sean is brilliant but not like his father. Just my opinion.
@@momszycat4148 Lennon/McCarthy was THE most amazing happening in music in my time (born in '59). I was raised on them. I just never compare Julian or Sean to John. They are their own people. Peace out.
Waooooo this show will go viral all over the world
If alien slavery is what keeps us from drowning in poop, I'll happily welcome our new overlords.
Vanessa asking all the same questions I would...thank youuu
@34:27 especially @34:36 Frank Drake sent the message to a globular cluster, yes, but it was M13 not M31.
