Oh how I wish I could make these! But artichokes aren’t in season right now and I don’t have an outdoor grill. They do look delicious, though, so I may need to try this method next artichoke season. I’m really excited because I’m growing artichokes in a huge planter on my deck and so far, 3 plants are growing nicely. We won’t talk about the 3 plants the squirrels dug up to plant their peanuts and sunflower seeds stolen from my neighbor’s bird feeder. I’m a novice gardener at best, so I have no real expectations that I’ll grow any artichokes, but maybe if I’m super lucky...
Lol as a kid I used to scrape the leaves with my two front teeth like a beaver cause I thought that's how you were supposed to eat it. I always enjoyed it but now I look back on that and cringe. 😂
@@Chakotay33. Actually, that IS the correct way to eat artichokes! The way she was eating hers would not be possible with the usual big artichokes. Artichokes are a thistle, and a mature artichoke would lacerate your throat!
