    As much as I love watching videos on this channel, guys please don’t get away with the Fomo of returns or losses that these apps sell. They will just continue to showcase your fund underperformance so that you continue investing with them. If you are happy with reasonable returns that beat inflation, stick to Nifty 50. If you want better returns than that, there is no other option than to learn about the market. All these numbers have been collated backtracking data and doesn’t take into account your PERSONAL financial situation.

      Rebalancing advice was given to people because most of them hadn't revisited their portfolios since they started their SIPs and most were investing via the regular funds route so its not wise to just leave it as it is because the distributor might not necessarily pick the funds which are best for the investors but the ones with the highest expense ratio.

    What wrong analysis is this . When is analysing the 5 cr portfolio he is saying based on app that the fund has underperformed. What he is not telling is that the underperformance is 58 lacs but it is being calculated on 4 cr investment , which is the false assumption to begin with , the real investment is 1.8 cr.
    Next the app is saying underperformance by comparing the max return in that category of mutual fund assuming that this app and this guy will be able to cheery pick the best mutual fund every year without taking into account the expense of early exit etc . The automated apps which is the sponsor of this video never tells the complete analysis but the apps are just good in giving false concise analysis . The fact is this being sponsored without the due diligence is just sad .
    Summary - don’t blindly follow any app . The fact that total app creators collectively managed 50000 cr aum means nothing . What matters i their exact performance tear after year managing those funds and what is the exact criteria’s of picking the next best performing mutual fund . This is complete misrepresentation of data

    Sorry but dont blindly follow such advice from these new apps. I was one of the early users of a very popular finance app and was already invested in Mirae Emerging Blue Chip fund by then. I also subscribed into Canara Robeco Small Cap Fund a year after it's launch. The advice I got from my app and also from another "wealth advisor"type app later was to move out from both funds as part of the quarterly rebalancing advice. I did not listen. And both funds have given me really good returns. Had I moved into the MFs suggested by them, I would have gotten rear ended. Always remember these finance people are NOT interested in YOUR financial well being as a first option. They want to make as much money off you through their commissions first. All other considerations are secondary. Do not blindly exit funds based on such generic advice.

    @Anshuman Sharma Why are you salesmen for gold and debt funds? They are the most pathetic mutual funds to invest in. Just because they exist doesn't mean you need to be a fool to invest in those. They underperform equity funds by a huge margin. Markets don't fall as often as you think so no point in hedge funds and betting against equity, it's always advisable to be 100% equity invested.
    You invest in actual growth companies through stock, you own a part of profit making companies.
    Gold is a piece of metal having sentimental value and debt gives FD kind of returns. Understand the basics don't just promote gold or debt funds just because they fell less in Market correction. If you see entire bull and bear cycle nothing beats equity return, even after falling more they will beat any gold or debt fund even during short spans

    Mutual Funds is always look on as a long term investment. If you have it not gained much in the first 5 years , you are sure to gain in the next 5-10 years.
    Yes you should always review your funds every 6 months but that does not mean that apps like these really help. All these apps are robot generated and they do not show accurate picture most of the time.
    You have yourself explained in most of the videos that you should never time the market and the most untouched your investments , the better returns you will gain.
    I usually like your content , but this video seems to be favouring the app more rather than providing the correct knowledge.

    This episode seems to be very bland. The way how he schooled the second investor who gained crores by investing 5 years and compounding the rest is very bad. Even the app cannot agree nor deliver the returns as the market keeps on fluctuating. In the next 5 years, the same funds may not perform also, may be even his 6 funds that are performing well now may under perform and the 15 other funds would perform really well. That is market, right?

    The app shows missed gains but doesn’t tell you how many MFs have beaten the benchmark.
    FOMO creating app hai, yeh Dezerv waalon pe pehle se hi bharosa nahi tha but ab to bulkul bhi nahi. If you are gonna treat MFs like stocks then you are missing the point here brother.

    Anshuman, this was not a good video, you cannot simply take an app and consider that as a benchmark and not refer to your own homework. Stop publicizing any 3rd party apps and give live guidance to people. This is really bad what you did in today's video.

    Yaar Anshuman... I started investing too late. I am 37 and unmarried. My exposure is 3k p.m in index fund, 3k elss, and 2k in quant small cap mutual fund. I earn 80k cash in hand. I had been fooled into buying 2 endowment lic policies. I have been taking baby steps cautiously in buying stocks. I also try to put a certain sum of money in PPF and NPS. In such a case how should I proceed? Am I going all wrong about it? If you can advise me it would be great.

    • @arjunps6776
      @arjunps6776 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If your endowment policies are at an early stage, try and stop it. You'll lose a bit of money but makes sense to do damage control. If they're at late stage in the tenure, bite the bullet and complete the term. Anyhow, read the clause on Surrender of policy in the wordings.

      @thesarkarbadal ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Rusikulya that's the thing. When we don't have any idea about investment, this is the first thing that we end up doing. So did you complete the entire policy term or did you discontinue? In case you have discontinued, you must have paid back the exemption to income tax for those 10 years....isn't it? Plus the rate of cancellation is so high.

      This is happening because of regular plans through distributors/agents. These agents only suggest you to put in NFOs and those funds which have a very high expense ratio. They don't care about your investments and returns. They care about their hidden commissions. Better to research on your own and select direct mutual funds.
