I apologize if this is an unrealistic request, but could you please provide information on taxes, specifically TDS? The fluctuation of monthly salary can make it difficult to understand, as someone earning 30 LPA could earn the same or close to someone earning 25 LPA or less
Depends on Tax Planning & Tax benefits provided by employer. Many employers provided ways to draw a part of your salary as reimbursements e.g. car lease, professional edu., telephone, internet, food coupons. The more options the employer provides and you opt you get more in hand salary.
@@mayurkachchhava139 I could be wrong but based on what I understand there's a limit on how much one can save based on the instruments you have mentioned. What makes me curious is how someone with 30LPA has monthly in-hand almost similar to someone with 20LPA (this are just ballpark figures please don't take it literally)
@@imjshnu It’s function of 3 items. 1. Fixed compensation vs ctc. One can have 30L CTC but 25 as fixed and another 22L fixed only no variable. The in-hand salary is based on fixed portion and not CTC. 2. Tax planning. The 30L person if taking no deduction will end up with low in-hand per month ( most impacting are HRA & Home loan). 3. Tax saving options provided by employer. A best example is HRA. Assume both have 5L as HRA. A pays rent to family and claims full 5L as HRA. B just claims 1.8L. The difference can amount to 10k in hand changes p.m. Combined all 3 you can have large fluctuations brining 20L & 25L fixed at par. One other way of temporary increasing the in hand salary for first 10 month is to delclare maximum amount of deduction to employer. It will increase inhand and defer tax liability.

First of you you should have buffer amount of at least 5L liquid. Tech Industry is extremely unstable and going through huge layoff. This layoff can continue with AI and Automation. Its important to have money for sunny days.
I am not sure whether he is doing right. But I would spend his savings money 80% to payback car loan first then home loan, and 20% I would invest for future until the loans are closed. Maximum both of the loan will be closed in 3 years to 5 years (Based on EMI I am guessing). Then utilize the remaining amount for gold purchase and index savings together.
The only thing more surprising in the comments section is the people who are surprised how a professional SDE earns this much amount. I'm 27, 6 years of experience and earn around 1.5L monthly, I'm doing my best to cross 2L/month amount and even then I'll not be comparable to my MAANG batchmates and friends(I'm currently in a startup) People really really need to start paying attention to their surroundings, our population is not only financially illiterate it's also socially illiterate when it comes to salaries.

The one who doesn’t have Financial literacy will end up with liabilities and unhappy life even if he/she earns in Cr.
@@mayurkachchhava139 Thank you! That was really informative ❤️
IT is all about uncertainty. So, most important thing is to keep some emergency fund.

He will be fired, if he doesn't fit to that role hired for or doesn't perform well. Now a days, every IT person wants to earn more money, even though he/she doesn't have a caliber or deserve for such CTC's.

@@vipulchandrajha8533 Who said myntra is not tech company! its online shopping right?? just like amazon!
@@mithunbobade1 Yeah. But I mean it's basic bread & butter is not selling tech products like Microsoft, Google etc.
Or even say Amazon whose main business is AWS.
Leave that also, it's not even in the SAAS business like Zoho etc.
It's more operations heavy where vendor management & logistics are more important than high tech.
My point is an Ecommerce company doesn't need any revolutionary tech like any hardcore tech copy.
Then why pay such ridiculous amount of money to a techie?
Thoughts?
How did you know bro
Hey Anshuman,
After tax-shield from the home loan, the interest rate would roughly be 6/7% and he would be able to easily get a better annual return from the stock market in the long run, why should he invest his capital towards reducing the home loan in this scenario?
Personally I agree with him paying his home loan asap given the layoffs we are seeing in the technology sector losing job with a hefty debt can put him in a bad spot

He should tell what was his strategy to get this much amount in a separate video
Efforts
Hard work
I think the question was to the person in the video who achieved the package.
If you are a SDE who's really good at data structures huge packages like this can be easily achieved. It gets bit tricky for non software developers. But I can say with certainty that switching jobs really help. You can get unrealistic hikes. I jumped from 3.4LPA to over 20LPA + stocks + bonus in span of 14 months (switched 2 times) I am sure if I make another switch in next 7-8 months i can again try to get over 60℅ hike on my current package. I believe the key is aming for mid sized publicly listed SAAS companies.
@@imjshnu What do you think is this much compensation sustainable in the long run. I mean do you think that even in future can just knowing DSA beg such a large package? Just curious
this guy needs no advice he is already doing great in his life
Earning money and managing that money are two very different things
@@souviknaskar9902 What exactly do you mean by managing money?
I believe everyone should have their freedom while spending. Like If I was earning that salary I would have definitely bought a luxury car but I know for sure that society and people would have told me to “Better manage my money”.
Like who the fuck are you to tell me what I should do with my money. The amount this guy is earning, he can easily afford entry level luxury cars or can easily get 2-3 cr bungalows in metro cities, the only thing holding him back is the target he has setup in his mind due to societal influence.
Life can end in a second, spend on things that you like, just remember to have emergency funds and investments. And please stop this bullshit about “Someone not able to manage money”.
Actually a lot of people end up broke after spending money on wrong things ,like if you earn 1lakh per month and buy a luxury car worth 60 lakhs like fortuner then by the time you pay emi the value of car will drastically get low and one day it you will end up in a an old car and old house living on their children's money
Love this guys clarity of thought

Why does a bachelor guy with 2.3 lac per month salary needs fixing the finance.
Higher the amount the more reckless you become, scarcity teaches more than abundance.
Companies have so much money to waste. No doubt why inflation is always on the rise.

The only thing more surprising in the comments section is the people who are surprised how a professional SDE earns this much amount.
