So I wanted to get an extra battery for the bike.
After contacting G-Force support, they sent me a link for the battery… and it was $390 and shipping in 20 working days.
Put 2+2 together… these bikes and batteries are generic, one supplier in China makes them.
Of course the battery that can be found on Alibaba (and the 40 thieves) but you take a chance on them and you also have to wait til hell freezes over to get it, plus you can’t return it if there’s a problem.
Scoured eBay and found a battery from a US seller that will work for almost half the price of the G-Force battery.

48V10.4AH is for the 1st T42 prior to Jun 2022. Those batteries are also common to the Lectric XP 2.0
Later model T42 and T5 bikes go up to 48V20AH ($690) and will not take this battery!
Very attractive bike. I have an ADO A20F which is awesome. But if I ever get another fat tyre. This would be on my short list.
Just an FYI, there's one mfgr in China cranking out these ebikes... Your ADO looks exactly like my T42. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same frame... some parts are definitely different. I bet the battery is the same. If you check my next video, I bought a battery from the Freego brand bike and it fits and works. It looks like when the Lectric XP (version 1) was discontinued, the factory just kept cranking them out allowing other brands to re-label.

Its a generic battery, You can find them on Amazon, eBay or Alibaba. Just double check the measurements and the photo descriptions of the battery terminal part.

Glad I'm not the only to figure out that all these "brands" are not real, if you put a big enough order of generic mass produced bikes from China, the manufacturers there let you customise your choice of colour, branding, logos, etc.
The company in our country then just sells it on pretending like they designed and made it, when all they probably did was inspected it before delivery. Anyone with funds to finance this can do it. Not just bikes, any product. It's basically dropshipping

I don't think the batteries on the new 2022 version of the G-Force T-42 have the same dimensions. When I measure the length of the battery case from top to bottom, it is 16.5 inches, or 419.1 mm. If anyone finds batteries that are compatible for the new version, please post where you found them! G-Force wants $690 for a 20Ah, and they don't have any other size available right now. I am looking to upgrade from the 11.2 battery.

I wonder if you'd be able to let me know the capacity of the new battery that you bought and the casing dimensions. Reason is, if the battery capacity 11.2Ah then the casing would have to be smaller than 16Ah or 20Ah battery casing. in. other words two different casing sizes. if so then the battery compartment in the bike where you slide the battery must be able to accommodate large size battery (16Ah or 200Ah)
therefore can you let me know the inner dimensions of the battery compartment of bike frame where the battery goes in? thank you.

Buy this if you like wasting $1200. Mine arrived broken and dealing with this company has been a nightmare
I kinda feel the same... A few months after I got the bike, they upgraded the motor to 750 watts, put on better metal fenders and included a rear rack.
I ride central park alot . I'm surprised I never saw you on your T42 riding out there.i have an EP.2 pro with the Yl80c screen. I think they are about the same bike mechanics wise. Does your throttle only work on what pas speed you are going? I've tried to figure it how I can change it so the throttle works full speed in any pas level but I can't figure it out.lol.

Its about 50% faster. so the 2 amp charger takes about 4-5 hours to fully charge battery at about 15%. The 3 amp takes about 3-4 hours.

My 11.2 ah gforce gets like 10 miles before it cuts off at half charge, then I need to pedal home and recharge it for another 5 to 10 miles like wtf.
Half charge? Did you tell g-force that you have a defective battery? I just ordered a T42 with 11.2AH, and hope they don't have problems like that.
When I converted my bike, I paid >900 CAD for a 19.2A battery...(LG cells)
I eventually ended up buying a 20Ahr "Hailong" type battery, Just type in "Hailong" in Amazon or eBay search. I mounted it like a typical motorbike gas tank. My range doubled to 40+ miles on that battery alone, alongside the orig batt, I can get over 60 miles range. Be prepared with some Preparation H cream afterwards, your gonna need it after riding this bike that long.

The link to the Ebay battery is down. I wouldn't trust my skills in finding the right size. Is there anyway you could see if it's just don or if there's another option?
Or just buy the bike with the 20 ah battery, and I'm guessing it's about the same maybe? But for those that didn't get the 20ah this is absolutely awesome advice

Are you able to give the part ID for the plastic connector on the comments? The eBay seller doesn't have it anymore, and I can't seem to find anything on it otherwise. My T42 isn't going to be in until the end of June. I'm thinking I'm going to need another battery.
I got my bike the fall of 2021, G-Force updated the bike Dec 2021 with a 750 watt motor, great metal fenders and a rear rack, All of which I wish came with my bike. As for the battery, I felt stupid and awkward carrying around that extra battery. I did another upgrade which I haven't recorded or posted... I ended up getting a 20Ahr "Hailong" battery from Amazon and mounted it in a "motorbike gas-tank" style. Instead of the 20 mile range from original battery, I now can get a total of 60+ miles on both batteries. Go this route, you won't regret it.
@@n8vnewyawker8 I just got the updated bike last Monday. The fenders are plastic. BUT! The ABS is an amazing feature. I got the 16Ah.
But I would love to find a 2nd battery, I think I'll just get a smaller one,
