I'm in love with my 2018 Tundra. Although I work offshore and I hardly ever get to drive it. But the low mileage will make it easy to sell when I decide to get a new Tundra one of these days
Best truck money can buy, affordable, functional, reliable, best resale in the business. I get tired of hearing complaints. I have the 2017, no rattles, no extra crap you dont need. Ford has 50 different combinations between motors and trim packages ranging from 39, 000- 67,000 what a joke.
Please do a review on the base model (SR) trim level. I think it's a very important vehicle to go over because the tundra has the best standard equipment of any full size truck and no other trim shows that as well as the SR trim level. It's important to mention that truck is only about 34000 dollars for a four wheel drive v8 full size pick up.
interestingly enough, I bought my 2018 SR5 used with 23K miles two years ago. looked all over (200 mile radius). drove 2016 - 2020 (new) models. first 2018 I ran across, I just new it was the model for me. only problem I had was it was an 'upper' model. not wanting leather seats, I kept looking until I found the SR5 I wanted. looks just like the one in the pic. Now, here it is 2022... and I get constant compliments on this truck. It's nothing special. I've done nothing to it. but the 2018 is a great truck. almost as good as my old 2006 was...
DCometa , I believe all 2018 Tundra’s comes with Daytime running LED headlights as standard. In 2017, you had to go to the higher trims to be the LED daytime running headlights
nice truck and review mike ! But when is toyota bringing out a new tundra? looks nearly the same as a 2007 with the same old aging engines just my 2 cents
A shark fin would add a little more height to the cab, need amplification unlike the standard antenna, get blocked by a large load in the bed, and not work as good in remote areas anyway. Most trucks and Jeeps use a standard antenna.
Don't get me wrong, I love Toyota trucks, especially the Tundra. However, my Tacoma has a shark fin antenna, and actually has a better reception than my wife's Tundra. You might have a point about the height to the cab, but I still don't see why they couldn't engineer a better option.
Toyota still has the design flaw in the HVAC system which allows Mold and Bacteria to grow, in the evaporator, call Toyota to document the problem, Still using Soy based insulation on wiring, still the mice problem Toyota : 800-331-4331
You know this is a truck right? What are trucks intended for? Americans really are stupid sometimes. Those other trucks that have better interior are the ones to break and lose value .
Push start sucks I like to have a real key to start up my car or truck with a push start you have to hold the break down with your foot and then push the button but with a real key I can be outside the car or truck and still start it by just sticking in the key and turning it like I said push start buttons suck on cars and trucks I want buy one with a push start button it
I understand that we all have different perceptions and I am not trying to dismiss or discount yours. However I will continue to use the pointer at certain times in the video. Let me explain the benefits It gives me better reach around the camera. it is smaller, more precise, and gets in the way less than my big hand. I can safely tap it against surfaces to show the hardness/softness. It gets people's attention. It is another way to differentiate my videos and make them more memorable to newcomers. In addition... feedback has been mostly positive.
That truck is so outdated. it seems like it went back in time travel - like probably 1999. It's that bad. And everyone always says Toyota this and Toyota that, I've never had good luck with them.
I shake my head every time I see a crew max. I don't understand the point of having sooooo much interior room with a tiny little worthless bed in a pickup. You couldn't even load a sheet of plywood in this girly thing LOL! Call me when you need something larger than a recliner chair to be hauled. #DoubleCabLongBed4Life
Looks like a 2007 tundra when are you going to go a great truck like a 2018 f150 king ranch or platinum plenty of leg room while one waits for someo me to bring gas due to the crapy millage from the outdated ten yr design engine
Jonathan Watts that ancient engine has nothing wrong with it. Why fix something when nothing is wrong? Solid truck and a 38 gallon tank, I'm totally happy with mine.
Nick Ferderer going to be a sucker to buy every now and a again now you can go to antique cars shows to show off your new truck. A tundra is just one step above a horse except more people buy horses then tundras.
I won't exchange my 2018 Toyota Tundra SR5 for any of the other junks...I don't care about the shiny newer gadgets that other.manufactures offer you...I want something reliable and my Tundra it's the best of it's kind...
225 70 18 or 255 70 18?
255
285/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers FTW!
That was the best Tundra video I have seen on TH-cam! Thanks for explaining everything for us new ( hopefully ) buyers.

Videos like these serve as ASMR to me. So relaxing and tranquil
I bout spit out my drink when that little hand came out the side of the screen to point to the door. How'd you not laugh?
Curtis McMinn hahahahaha im happy im not the only that almost lost my shit laughing when it popped up 😂😂😂
Mike you're the best at what you do. Its always a pleasure watching your videos.
This lasts longer than other American 1500 trucks ?
Love the pointer mike 😂
Best pointer on the TH-cams!
Close to 100k congrats mike!!!!!

I love the Tundra for the spacious room! If only it had the features of the Tacoma!
Good truck. Gets the job done.
Really, the pointer... lol
what do you call molding on side glove compartment box
OMG the little hand...!
Only down sides to the Tundra is there is no underneath storage under the back seats. Just a big piece of foam. Also no LED bed lights
I love it!!!... Not bad for $39k!, I had the impresion it was going to be around $50k!
Mike, I thought the 5.7 comes with 38 gallons fuel tank instead of 26.4?
SR5 Upgrade package is the only way to get the 38 gallon tank on the SR5 models. Most other higher trim models will have it optional as well.
Still would not recommend getting the Tundra. Just wait for the beginning of 2019 when Toyota announced the next generation Tundra.
Hey Mike! Great video! Been waiting for this vehicle for a bit. Thank you for great review
Very detailed, Thanks.
Do the rear seats lean back a little more?
Are the seats heated?
That pointer....😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great video!
Is there a drivers side handle to assist entry into the truck? I know alot of Tundra owners that complain about that.
No just the steering wheel.
That's too bad. Toyota should listen to their owners recommendations. That's a big oversight. Thanks for the reply Mike!
@@numberonefamilyman they originally had a handle on LHS then removed them. Why? No idea but it sucks.
I love the yellow hand xD
This is a very nice truck. The exterior looks dated but it's definitely a well equipped one.

Why aren't the lights the new 2018 LED version?

la mejor camioneta del mundo
Got to give that emoji pointer a like
Keep your real hands out please. I'm use to the pointer 👉
Hi mike. Hows it hangin
Linda camioneta esa toyota tundra cual es el precio y quisiera saber si el motor rs diesel
Ewdun Lopez solo es Gas. Esta esta entre 33k-43k USD$
When will the Crosstrek review come?
The weather has slowed me down a little. Hopefully in the next week or two.
I don't have access to Porsche.
Hola gracias por la informacion saludos
nice truck and review mike ! But when is toyota bringing out a new tundra? looks nearly the same as a 2007 with the same old aging engines just my 2 cents
Yep old aging engine that will outlast all other competition. Tundra powertrain is tried and proven
How can they make this beast to look even better? Impossible.
yurieu not saying it doesnt look good i like it just saying its time for a remodel
Jeffrey J if it aint broke, don't fix it
great vido!!!!!
2018 model and it still has that stupid antennae on the front passenger side? They couldn't put a sleek shark fin antennae on the roof?
A shark fin would add a little more height to the cab, need amplification unlike the standard antenna, get blocked by a large load in the bed, and not work as good in remote areas anyway.

I wish the Tundra's made running boards/side steps standard. My wife had to pay $600 extra to have the dealership install them.
Why the hell did you use that yellow hand thing
th-cam.com/video/EcYsJgyppM0/w-d-xo.html
IAm sure it's a nice truck, but it just doesn't do anything for me, it doesn't excite me or make me want it.
Will you do a review on the 2018 Silverado Regular Cab?
Most likely
MikesCarInfo Okay cool because i dont see to many reviews on Regular cabs like the Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierras.
Please do, a Cadillac cts 2018
jejeje the hand

Do the ram rebel 2018
...Make it more boring...use a GRAY pointer....LoL....
For a 2018 truck, the interior looks really outdated.
MrDefeater94 it's a 10 year old design.. what do you expect? The new tundra is coming in 2k20..
and yet they hold their value better than any Ford, Chevy or Dodge POS.
You know this is a truck right? What are trucks intended for? Americans really are stupid sometimes. Those other trucks that have better interior are the ones to break and lose value .
Still no push start😭
Push start sucks I like to have a real key to start up my car or truck with a push start you have to hold the break down with your foot and then push the button but with a real key I can be outside the car or truck and still start it by just sticking in the key and turning it like I said push start buttons suck on cars and trucks I want buy one with a push start button it
No push start? That's a good thing! Doesn't belong in a truck.
video
The tundra and ram look so damn out dated
Still putting those cheap ass ugly steel wheels on a $35k truck.
why dont they put heated steering wheel for blu collar workers, they deserve it more than paper pushers and computer clickers. stupid.
DUDE!!! Lose the pointer. Ugh.
Why?

I have had good luck. But admittedly they are bare bones.
pass ! looks cheap

Majority of the owners do not need a long bed. I only use my bed to haul luggage lol.
