    Just a thought: why not have the 212nd Attack Battalion with Commander Cody and Obi-Wan like it was in the Clone Wars and Episode 3? 501st Legion with Anakin; 327th Star Corps with Aayla Secura; 41st Elite Corps with Luminara Unduli; etc. I just think that would make these play-throughs even cooler and totally legit.

      It would be cool but he can't seem to keep his troops alive long enough to get them together. Whenever he has one of them the other is dead and vice versa. I tried saying the same thing before like 4 episodes or more ago but my comment was never read apparently.

      Apparently the 501st is dead lol, at least that's what another guy said. If you lose more the half the legion they dissappear.

      Darth Perfidious yep it sucks but you can make a new 501st and because its hard to replace half of the best legion with such quality the remaining will be removed.

    Ships coming in from hyperspace take extra damage, allowing the shields to be depleted before they finish moving into position.

    That "oh shit" moment for the Sep fleet when the Pride of the Core jumped in at point blank range with their battleship and it just let loose.

    Shack, remember that you still have Naboo, which can produce Naboo fighters. If you have the planet build up a large amount of them then you could send a couple of new capital ships from the Core worlds down to meet them and clear up Mustafar. As for the south, you should free Tatooine and Kamino before you think about taking Geonosis.

    Make sure you reinforce your newly acquired planets. Be a shame if the Seps sent in a commando force to retake them.

      Try slowing down a bit. Try not to overreach. Send scouts out to the Seps' planets to try to hunt down the Malovelence, and reinforce on the ground, especially the ones at the most risk (Bothawui).

      Meeshter Man I agree. The Malovelence is a major threat to any Republic force. It being currently not known is nerving. It is a brutal warship as you well know and should try to find it.

    1) You definitely need to get your heavy vehicle factories built on what few planets are capable of constructing them. Those planets should then focus on building your advanced armor while other planets produce your ground troops, hover tanks and AT-PT's.
    2) You should also spread out your production of units: instead of having one planet produce three Acclamators, have three planets produce 1 Acclamator each. It immediately puts that money to use building the unit, instead of waiting around forever. Pick a few safe planets to serve as staging areas for your fleets, and then send them directly to the target planet
    3) Always have a fighter escort or some sort of warship attached to the armies that are waiting in orbit or traveling to worlds. It keeps them safe, in case of a surprise raid by the CIS, if that unit is placed in the slot that allows them to exit hyperspace alone. I've destroyed many a Droid army in space by rushing my fighters at large swathes of transports while the enemy tries to run away.

    I would say take: Bestine, Fondor, Thyfera and Abragado-rae
    also if you attack Cato Nemoidia, it is basically a massive corridor to fight through, bring yoda and some artillery with your army and you can wreck their stuff pretty well with yoda's force sight ability

    43:55 The number represents the galactic population cap. The number of units you can create depends on how many planets you own.

    I think your fleet size is adequate for now. Any new ships you build should be focused on pushing south, preferably under the leadership of a Jedi. Also bring some of your other Clone Units, I want to see the 212th!

    Shack if you destroy the power generator it disables all of the stationary cannons in addition to the shield generator. So you don't need to worry about your ground units. Also you don't need to destroy the cannons in order to win just all the actual units walking around.

    I would suggest building up your star bases, it will increase your population cap and help secure your defenses. On worlds that you know are secure from attack, spam mining stations. That will give you ridiculous amounts of income.I've finished campaigns with 100's of thousands of credits built up that I couldn't spend and hit population cap

    Ok. So I've been playing this mod recently and just a little advice, Shack.
    You should really really use Delta Squad a LOT more. They are ridiculously powerful and durable if you move them together as a squad because Fixer has a healing effect on allies near him. They're so powerful that it's not even funny watching them wreck entire ground forces on their own. I was able to capture a fully fortified Geonosis with just them, Mace Windu, and a single deployment of LAATs.
    So if you're looking to conquer planets, then Delta Squad will be among your best hero units for the job. They're like that little team of units that's effective against almost everything. Though they need quite a bit of micromanaging to be 100% effective.

    I'm a veteran EAW and FOC mod player and I can give you great advice. Take Polis Masa and Sulis Van in the lower right hand corner. Like Kamino its basically a island in all your worlds and Polis Masa is the reason for the annoying fleets and Sulis Van is the reason for the countless invasions on Mustafar. Take them at all cost. They are killing your video time and by doing this, will save you editing time.

    Shack- based on your Shock and Awe tactic that worked so well in your Ithor-space battle- I recommend you do that for all your space battles. That was really fun to watch

    Hey Shack, when you do a planetary assault don;t waste your bombing runs on ground troops. Save them for buildings and turrets and they will chew through them. Ground troops can move out of the way, and it takes ages to cool down for another run. Also, try to get more clones on the field, because most vehicles can't cap points, and if you loose all your troops you're screwed. Good stuff so far otherwise. :)

    I'd think for strategy...
    1) Keep Coruscant, Kuat, Corellia well fortified. It's been your main capital ship production area... I might even keep the Pride of the Core here, just to make the defense seem even more impressive, and forcing them to commit larger forces to try and attack it, making systems in the outer rim areas weak...
    2) Move your main strike fleet toward Geonosis and Tatooine. You'd open up Kamino again to move more top level infantry units and would damage their ability to replace their losses, which could make future battles easier to win...

      I just made a similar post about strategies that could speed up his campaign. He really needs to clear out the galactic east and take back Mon Calamari and Mintooine. Both can produce capital ships, and Mintooine can produce the CIS's super-ship, the Malevolence.

      Tbh u could do that but then it would be a waste for the potc cause it would be just sat there waiting all u really need is a level 5 space station with one or two capital ships and and a turbo lazer u know the ground to space lazer and u sorted

    by the way, here is a stradegy for attacking the sout, create ARC-170 attack groups, use them to take down orbital targets. it works, i did it with X-wings, Y-wings, and A-wings in foc

    That number on the info paragraph for planets means how much more unit space it gives to you/the enemy. If you take that planet, you get 35 extra space for units to build, increasing the unit cap.

    you should start building a fleet and thinking of a plan to deal with the malevolence. that thing could still become a big threat real fast especially if it makes a run a for corasant or kamino

    That game idea you said is the one I've had for years now I've gone into so much detail on what/how it would work and classes, Specials, Ranking even though I know I would never get the chance to make it.. its pretty much all me and my mate do is invent games etc. To never be used haha

    Hey shack when you take out the power generator I takes all the flak guns and the shield offline, now small build able turrets remain on but you don't have to worry so when you attack a planet use air units to find generator and you take most of their defenses, and that's why she. You've taken it out and the turrets don't shoot that's why. And the same goes for you on your planets if attacked so keep them well defended, also i would recommend goung online and finding the choke points on the map so that you can maximize your unit distribution and not have wasted units or wasted republic creditsand love the vids man keep it up.

    Captain Shack, our intel agents report that taking out their power generators (the thin cylinder looking building that you keep calling a shield generator) will disable both their shield generator (the spinning satellite dish that makes the energy bubble) AND their big defensive cannons. Additionally, our fleet filed a complaint against you for having them hyperspace straight into enemy fire since their shield generators require a chance to properly recover from hyperspace travel. (Ships take significantly more damage while the 'hyperspacing in' animation plays which is why the Pride of the Core had lost its shields so easily, they didn't actually take out its generators.)

    Jumping in your ships to close to the enemy will also cause you to lose shields more quickly. Try to bring in reinforcements away from your front line then move them in, you lost shields because you jumped in to close.

    a strategy to consider is building heroes at different planets (shakk ti and Aylaa secura ) and lots of arc troopers and take planets to avoid major space engagments

    Remember, when you knock out their shield generator it will also knock out any flak turrets they have. Those turrets can't fire without the generator so bother wasting your main push on them once they have no power. I also think you are doing great with your counter-offensive.

    Also, I just fought the Malevolence, and I found that if you just gather all of your ARC fighters and bombers and just rush it and destroy its Special weapons and shields, it will be easier to take out.

    Don't you hate it when your ina battle, and you have destroyed all the enemies buildings, BUT somewhere on the map there is a dang turret that's hiding!

    That was the most incredible space battle I have ever seen. Reminded me of the battle over coruscant in the third movie. Just so damn cool, I was literally geeking out over it. Please get more infantry in your attack force. All you have is the 501st, get some arc troopers and reg squads in there to beef it up. Not to mention a jedi to lead it. And please stop putting the 501st in your laats when you have no idea if the enemy has anti air. They could wipe out half of the 501st in one shot. Get at-rts in your army to cap points fast as well. Don't drop the at-te unless they have spider walkers or tanks. To slow and weak vs other stuff, strictly an anti vehicle weapon. Liberate mygeetos orbit and establish a ground force then move the commandos and jedi to the south to lay the ground work for the southern push.

    If you locate the Malevolence, try to build a huge force of ARC Fighters to try to destroy her, with that ship gone you should only have to worry about large fleets of ships including the Lurehulks

    some advice, don't hyperspce units RIGHT infront of enemy ships, they are FAR less durable when they are hyperspacing in so even a small ship can take out the sheilds of a venator if it hits it right when its warping in.

    When people say AT-PTs suck, thats because they sort of do. What you are looking at at 31:10 is the AT-AP, which does not suck and is very good. Just clarifying :)

      they are the equivalent of buses, the AT-PT stands for All Terrain Personal Transport, or a humvee/bus hybrid

    The control=A goes by specials, like, AT-PTs and AT-RTs, they both have the hunt ability, so they're grouped together. LAATs and civies have no ability, so they're grouped together.

    On Mustafar, take out some pointless buildings and put in mines to get income. Also do that to other planets.
    Take out the sep forces in the outer core worlds first before going towards Kamino or to Bespin.
    Invest heavily into Ships like the Venator or Victory Class.
    Also try to get the planet with your stealth assault squad with yoda and commandos. They need to help you attack the outer core worlds.

    Shack a word of warning when doing space battles try not to call in ships right next to the enemy's ships because when leaving hyperspace the shields are VERY weak thats why the cores shield were down.

    Shack i think you should setup Defensive Fleets around the core worlds...with strong Space Stations...pull up everything you have and charge Genosis. Possibly go through Bespin and that route and hit the outer rim from there

    Shack I suggest you try 3 things:
    1st, you have around 5 core world that can produce capital ship if you build up the station you can produce 5 capital ships at once then the 2 capital shipyards you have right now also if you add a planetary ion cannon it will make those systems untouchable.
    2nd, use palps credit reduction buff because it really can save you a lot of credits in the long run especially with ventor and victory capital ship since his buff decreases there cost by over 1000 credits.
    3rd, if you want to turn the tide of the war focus on taking out planets that can produce capital ships by either blockading or completely taking over the planet or even just simply gank the station and bail as temporary measure to slow their capital ship production. This would change the tide of the war because since capital ship are superior and the only way to rival a capital ship (with out heavy losses) is with another. With that advantage of having limitless amount of capital ships at your disposal and separatist having a set amount capital ships you will quickly gain space superiority and will be able to isolate ever separatist planet to be pick off one by one also for the malevolence to be constructed minntooine must have a level 4 or 5 station to construct her.

    Shack the units get grouped by special ability, that's why your LAAT's and tanks go in with the Civies, as they all have no special ability

    I think it would be cool to have a game like planet side 2. Factions fighting each other on such a scale but have space battles and ground battles.

      I was thinking along the lines more like SW battlefront 2. You fight the space battles and than the ground. But you should be able to control the capital ships and if you control the space theater you could get bonuses for the land map. Air strikes and quicker respawns etc

      Apparently, Battlefront 3 was supposed to allow you to transition seamlessly between land and space battles, flying into/out of the atmosphere in the middle of a fight.

    Hey Captain Shack (Don't know if I spelled that right) I noticed in your last Republic at War play through on the space battle of Ithor when you were calling in reinforcements that you were doing something a bit wrong. The way the games hyperdrive system works is that when ships come out of hyper space they dont have any shields. Hence why your Pride of the cores' shields were down so fast, Just wanted to let you know by the way love the series. Keep up the good work.

    I would build a secondary fleet built with support ships with a mix of venators and acclamtors but not too big just to destroy the droid blockades around your planets in the south.

    While you're using the big armies to take more heavily fortified planets, try using a group of arcs and taking some minor planets that aren't too well defended.

    Shack you seriously need to start making and using field commanders; Just having them landed on or present already on the battlefield gives your units 25% more health

    That number is the total amount of troops the planet can support. space stations add to the amount the planet can support for the republic

    I said this in the ep 18 the juggernauts are also know as turbo tanks and the LAAT (land and air transports) are called gunships. Hope this helps out a lot. Also I am loving this series I'm on ep 19 great stuff... Keep it up... Also I think u should build more gunships and turbo tanks... Anyways hoped this helped can't wait for the next eps

    Ships take more damage on the shields when coming out off hyperspace and thats why the pride lost shields that fast.

    ive made invasion forces made up entirely of AT-RT walkers.... they have an ability to search the map for hostiles... drop in about five sets of those they will win the battle for you

    When units come out of hyperspace they are more vulnerable to damage so when u brought in the core it took lots of damage resulting in low shields

    The war is going well for you. You have a powerful assault force and a good flow of credits. Planets you want to take are those that produce capital ships. Denying their ability to produce capital ships will allow you to run over them in space with nary a care. The reason the Core lost its shields is because when it hypers in it takes extra damage if it get hit, but the Core has so many hardpoints it is really a moot point. Unless you drop it on top of 3-4 capital ships without support it will kill everything else before it will be destroyed, don't be afraid of some hull damage as it comes back next fight. As for mustafar a fleet large enough to hold it from ground assaults would be a waste of your rather limited resources. It is so deep in enemy territory that you would need a large fleet that would be better off elsewhere. Take heart for the fight has just begun, the Droid AI has you way outnumbered in space still but they are holding back their fleets until they are decide to take a planet from you be carefull that you dont run your fleet into another rendili unprepared and lose everything.

    Taking out the power generator takes out the turrets, too.

    Shack the AT PT's are the AT RT with a little more armor they are not that good. Instead you should pay 100 more for the saber tanks which are better IMO. The units that you were mistaking for AT PT's were AT AP's which are mobile arty which are very useful (they let you win one mission with just them and millitia around episode 20) I just wanted to point that out.

    Hyperspacing into direct combat is very dangerous because the shields are extremely weak exiting hyperspace

    I don't know if this is still a thing (seeing how this video is a year old)but it's a good idea to sync your game footage and audio better your constantly predicting the future or your actions and voice don't quite match besides that I love this lets play ^^

    You can pause a battle, call in a bunch of reinforcements, then when you unpause, they all drop in at once

    You should try not to jump your ships right into the heat of battle. Shields are weaker when the ships jump in and it can turn a quick victory into a fight for survival.

    If u destroy the power generator the flak guns/turrbo lasers can NOT fire so dont bother shooting them if the power is down

    Have you seen Rebels yet? It's not as intense as Clone Wars, but man is it a fun show! Really makes me want to play Forces of Corruption by itself again and fight the Empire! Republic at War is just so fun though...

    Since you have gained momentum in game you should also gain momentum in how often you are releasing episodes (I know I just got back from vaca) but seriously one every two days to close out the war would be amazing

    If I were you I'd give them Mustafar. Sure its a planet that is useful to the CiS but still, its one planet. Lost in the outer rim and has absolutely no protection seeing as your moving North East. However, Hoth and Bespin cannot fall. Hoth hides your units on the ground so they cannot prepare for that. And Bespin gives you Tabana gas which is VERY useful in resource. Now for a offensive the wisest choice to assault there in my opinion is threw Endor and Bakura and that other planet. See there is three lone planets distant from the main fleet and can be a quick reinforcement instead of waiting from the core planets. I believe Sullest will allow you the route to take those planets so simply, assault Sullest, keep it if you wish for more Kamino/Mustafar, go to Endor take it and the three planets around and boom. Outer rim South fleet good to go.

    Hey, Shack, it looks like the sync between the video and audio is off by a few seconds. Speaking along with audio clips when it seems like you were probably speaking after (and at one point saying one clip half a second before it played), and some of the things you did in the video were mentioned a few seconds before they happened. Might wanna see if you can fix that.

    Finaly he realises that the at-ap's don't suck because he didn't win that battle that he talked about a couple episodes ago with 2 at-pt's he won that battle with 2 at-ap's (Jim and Bob).
