when you get the pride of the core, you want at least 10 venators and 15 acclomators for a formidable fighting force

Commander Flare lose acclamators because they die fast and leave pride and venators and now you have realy realy good attacking and defending force
Tiberius11111111 they may die fast but its a distraction form the capital ships. like they would kill the acclamators first instead of the venators. and plus a large number of acclamators can easily overwhelm a hulk
Don't forget the victory class star destroyers
I think setting the "search and destroy" ability on those V-Wings and V-19s will help a lot vs the micromanagement of clicking on the units themselves to attack certain enemies.
Hey Shack, you see those icons that look like floating turrets when you look at a planet? They're over some icons that look like regular turrets. The floating turrets show what level the space station is. You seemed to not understand this in the past but just ignore this if you did.
This setup really was like something from the show. One lone ship with a bunch of heroes on it, facing a pair of enemy battleships and tons of droids, outnumbered and has to fight through etc etc.
YESSSS thank you finally the PRIDE OF THE FRIGGAN CORE I'm really glad you've decided to attempt to build it not that your space battles aren't superb but that thing will help take down occupied planets with ease when used correctly

And also please dont make the pride of the core it is actually really bad and a waste of money and time, It is very slow and without support a few lucrehulks and bombers can kill it. It is very strong but not for its price and the time it takes to afford it.
Shack just proved that a Venator can kill 2 Lucrehulks by itself.
The Pride Of The Core should be able to take even more.

If they do a sequel to this i hope they add a boarding technique where you can have battles in ships

I was laughing so hard as he spent like 20 mins trying to figure out why he could not damage the second hulk. I can not believe he left the shield a live with a sliver of health. Which could have lost him that battle. Damn he got so lucky.
Shack, what I tend to do is just keep the ARCs with their wings locked and bomb that way. They move at double the speed and fire the same amount of torpedoes too. It does wonders for saving time and saving fighter bombers.
Jeez, that was a close call in that second battle. I would've thought the best option would to retreat when their capital ships got into firing range while you still had your Venator's engines, but you beat the odds against them just barely.

I've played hours and hours of this game due to your videos. I have some great advice for you here. (I came from video 10 so I don't know if you've done this yet.). Pride of the Core is the best most overpowered all around ship in the game. I have the pride of the core and the rest ships as venators and no enemy fleet, no matter how large or its composition, can beat it. Secondly, bombers are worthless. The venators come with the ARC-170s which are faster and can function as bombers and fighters. If you want to make a space defense impossible to lose build a hypervelocity gun. With this in place you only need corvettes to fend off fighters and use the reinforcements to scout out the ships and blast them. It one hits all ships, idk about malevolence, no matter their size. Good luck. Love the series.

I think you once thought about strategy games were you can control the fleet as a commander and someone can control one actual unit. A great idea! Do you know the game Battlestations:Pacific? Not Sci fi genre, of course, and there is not exactly this co-op aspect in it, but the concept of commanding larger fleets and also fly a single plane or control a unit is used there, maybe it's somethin interesting to show.

Tip if you've destroyed most of the hangar bays on the lucrehulks banzai your fighters, quantity is key, they can also be a meat shield for the arc fighters
I played with nothing but one or two carriers and a few escorts with the Phoenix Rising mod and was able. I was able to cause a lot of pain with my carrier tactics with next to no losses than bringing in a big fleet and get into a slugging match. You should try organizing your strike groups into smaller units, I find that at least 4 bomber or attack fighter squadrons can fire enough proton torpedoes to pierce the shields and destroy any target. Leave your regular fighters and and interceptors on auto attack to keep the enemy busy and off your back.

Go for the pride of the core first and also, go to every single planet and build barracks and at least a light factory! If you build that and a heavy factory you should be able to build the HVC! On all planets unless the person who made the game changed that up. But defiantly worry a little more on ground forces and buildings. If you have planets you know no space force can get to leave a full 10 Garrison and build all mining facility if possible and have nearby planets resupply any troops that die. Once money is stable and you have about 5 massive fleets or more you'll be set!! But please I hope you see this and take it to heart! I've beaten back many attacks and raids with minimal army's but after the pride of the core ground forces on all planets and then space forces. But don't go full ground, you'll have time for space as we'll! Your recent space battles have been doing way better! And ground is too! Keep it up man and I'm sure you'll win!! For The REPUBLIC!!
If your going to capture a planet. What I do is build the ground forces and move those with the attack fleet. Try it, might help in he long run
the big red button on the hot bar fires something I think proton torpedoes or something at the enemy during space battles
Also if you hold shift you can queue commands... like shields, hangar, hangar, then move on the the next...
saves time
I would suggest as a standard fleet to get 3 Jedi Cruisers, 5 Frigates, and a crap ton of Arc Fighters. That should do pretty dang well against everything.
you can win nearly all space battles but it doesn't matter your still losing the war because your offence has been crushed and the droids have a 100-1 advantage this time
I would advise investing in IFT-Xs as well as AT-PTs, for they are much more effective against amour, even if slightly more expensive.
SaberTanks are actually, when used properly, the deadliest unit the Republic has (other than the gunship). Shields, speed, and a really good weapon load, plus they will hold up for a bit.

This Ai is definetly better than 1.2’s, specifically in space. Instead of sending constant lucerhulks or waves of carriers, it sends actual fighting ships.
Nice fights. A total of 10 hulks and several support ships destroyed for only the loss of 2 Acclamators and 2 light frigates.
And two arc troopers. Can't forget them.

@TheXPGamers You can chain commands by holding down CTRL, just like on SoASE, but this isn't always a good move as bombers will have to take one run per hard point, when if microing, once torpedoes are away, you can switch to the other hangar and a fresh load can usually kill it in one run, as you did this video. Also, that noise from the Lukrehalks? That is when they launch tons of bombers.
I think your strategy is really good, in fact I stole your idea of using ARC bombers, and used them to take out several level 3 stations with low losses, which has turned the war. They are so cheap to replace and it's so epic to use them :D
If he uses the select all command, he can pick all the Arc fighters after they respawn for faster deployment
Xp if you prees the big red button during a land battle and you have a fleet above the planet it launches the giant laser you saw last episode
UGH! I know this is over a month old but SHEESH! You need better micromanagement skills. You keep swapping targets like a hamster with ADD. You missed taking out the second Hulk's shield generator and it nearly cost you the battle.
That was pissing me off the whole battle, I kept screaming at him in my head

The problem with the big conglomerated game that you wish for is it would be simply too much for one group to accomplish. Without massive funding and a huge dev team it would be impossible to have all elements be good and feel complete. Just imagine how hard it would be to have Battlefield, EUIV, War Thunder and a good ship game in one release.

Shack how do you put units to a groop also over charging your wepons is most useful while brodsiding.

When you go to attack Geonosis and Mygeeto, might I suggest you send in commandos and heroes to raid beforehand with the specific objective of destroying any hypervelocity guns on both planets? I would be surprised if they didn't have them on either planet in addition to powerful space stations and large defensive fleets, so you'll need to destroy every advantage of theirs that you can when you go to attack them on Geonosis and Mygeeto.

There was a piont there about half way through the battle at the stary were the enemy fleet broke and it was lucer hulk hunting time
You need space stations on every planet so you can build your own ships faster plus build nothing but mining facilities on planets that can and only have a few planets that are well protected to build ground units and then send them where you need them during air combat/ ground you need to use the scout ability which will also auto engage those are your main issues and upgraded any all space stations
Hay came you do it daily and longer videos. Also about the game now, you should put the 501 with Anika's and put the siege patallion with obi wan. Also some other units too and attack geonosis
For the republic, please, secure income, the reason why they keep coming in as there getting ships from the east, sending them too genosia, through naboo and reinforcing there fleets in the west
Try to capture the most important separatist planets: Geonosis, Mustafar, Fresia and Moncalamary.

around 19:20 you didn't take out the shield generator of the second battleship.
You do know that weapons have firing arcs right? So pointing the rear of your capital ship towards the enemy is a REALLY BAD IDEA. It means your ship can't use most of its weapons.

i have a problem with this mod, the cis AI doesnt attack me at all or move their units in battle. how do i fix this ? ( i have the CD version of the game)
Release these episodes every 2 or 3 days in stead of 4 and include more than 1 or 2 long battles
I do agree that I would love to see longer vids but you have to realize he might not have time to do vids so often. He probs has friends like everyone else. Granted, like myself, he might not have many, or maybe he does.

First time watching this LP. As a prediction of what happen so far. I dont think hes gunna win the Campaign too many mistakes of not fortification of majority of planets and not building up high lv space stations. Focusing too much on building Venators and not enough other ships. The Pride of the Core isnt the end all be all. It has its weakness if not properly supported. I would of save the money and start building Space Stations and Ground defensive structures.
If he is going to turn it around he had to of take Mygeeto to cut the CIS credit income by a pretty fair margin and take Geonosis.

We're also doing a little role play here. Nuke is Mace Windu, I'm Eeth Koth and another guy (who might or might not come) is Admiral Yularen. You can be, whoever you want. Anyway, now that we agreed on the general strategy, we can discuss what types of troops to bring and the quantities of the artillery and stuff. Your call, Master Windu.
Hey. I think he should keep the core fleets where they are, and build up a new fleet to take Mygeeto instead of using the 1st Attack Fleet, which is taking care of business just south of the core. This way he can multitask. Or: he can redeploy a few ships from each of the three fleets to make a new one, and outfit that fleet with some anti fighter and bomber support ships. A lot of anti bomber and fighter support ships. This way he can clear out the sectors north of the core and (hopefully) take out the Malevolence Skywalker's way. With a squadron of shadows and a venerable Kel Dor companion.
NuclearPatato Shack has shown that he can take on 2 Lukerhulkers with a single Venator. So long as he has a couple ships stationed on Kuat and Coruscant where most Venators are being made there shouldn't be too much to worry about so long as he has got the planetary turbolasers set up. I know he has one on Coruscant but I can't remember if he built one on Kuat. Now if only the CIS were feeling nice and could send the Malevolence to one of those planets... :3

B-wings are bombers but that's later in the StarWars history. Episodes 4-6+
They are a tactical bomber like the X-wing not a heavy bomber like the Y-wing the B-wing is actually classed as a cruiser crusher with laser cannons, ion cannons and torpedoes.

I think that happens the longer your campaign is. He explains this around the earlier videos how the longer the "War" is the laggier the game will get
