    sofar i bricked every single one of the recombinations... i'm now gonna spend the evening reading everything and watching everything i can find about these damn things... :D

      You'll definitely brick a lot, there's a fair bit of RNG but you can do a bit to increase your odds.

    Unfortunately, with ggg seeming to want to die on the 'casuals get screwed so the diehards get a challenge' hill, i think that if they do go core, it will be in a much nerfed and less fun way.

    I've heard that the products ilvl is the average of the inputs +2. So as long as one always uses ilvl83 it should be ok for T1 spell suppression.

    I really do hope they stay, just because of the way they remove items from the game which keeps things valuable for much longer, and makes rare items a lot more interesting, especially things with special mods like incursion or syndicate.
    As you said some things probably should be nerfed, mainly the fractured mods part.

    Recombinators I think are one of the most enjoyable things to be added to the game. One of the reasons I loved harvest so much was because I could take bases dropped with special or rare mods and do something with them without it being a nose bleed experience looking at the cost. It is a ton of fun to go oh look this random 1-3 mod item is usable if it had a little more to it and this other item with 1-3 mods is the same yolo smash. If they do go core and are not something that is like 10c or lower in price I think it will greatly ruin the experience these items bring to the game for the non top 10% of the player game in terms of wealth.
    I really think this is a way better way of giving you a reason to id rares then making "good" rares more common because I don't enjoy iding items in maps 99% of my game play but I really enjoy finding stuff like alva mod bases. I think there is way more depth to the game when crafting is the ideal way to get gear because it takes hard work vs rnging something off the floor which just makes my eyes glaze over from looking at so much shit.

    Can you not combine the taken as mod with itself when one is a suffix and the other is a prefix?
    I like the recombinators. Makes the random stuff of the ground so much more relevant

    Is there any reason to not take iron reflexes instead?

      Pathing/location makes it inefficient to get to Iron Reflexes without wasting points.

    Keep them in the game. They make so many rare/magic items more relevant. And they are hell of fun to use.
