Leonard Nimoy is really missed..he really was his own person, full of talent and very intelligent…he is so miss but will live on through his acting career for many of generations to love and enjoy….💕💐
Star Trek gave all human beings a boost in our imagination to consider what might actually be going on in the "Rest" of the universe. It changed us all by reinforcing the idea of life actually exists "off" of the planet Earth. By doing that, it gives us increased hope that we are not all alone. That is the main reason for it's great success which still continues to this day and into the future.
To be honest that's not really accurate because there are a lot of things that have to go right for a planet to be able to sustain life and Star Trek makes it seem like "M class" planets are pretty common.
