Chris,great video as usual. The only thing I am so confused about is how do I only lock my driver’s side door when I don’t have my key fob with me? Sometimes if I’m in the house and run out to the garage or am getting into my husband’s car to go somewhere without my key fob all four doors are locked! I don’t have small children anymore so I don’t worry about them being locked in and I of course lock all doors when I’m out and about but if I forget my sunglasses or purse in my car I don’t have access to get in at least one car door without the key fob. Thank you!

Having trouble linking my 2023 CR-V EX-L to the garage door opener. I see only ONE HomeLink button and it’s under the rear view mirror. Is this the only programmable HomeLink button in the CR-V EX-L? And is this the button which links to the garage door(s) opener? There is nothing in the Owner’s Manual where remote garage door linking is addressed, unfortunately.
This is a common question that I haven't created a video about because this may come down to the garage door unit you have at home. I recommend looking for a video base on your unit at home, it could be a video with a 2015 Honda Accord. The HomeLink is the same.
I haven't tried this, have you attempted to lock the vehicle with you fob while that vehicle is on and fob is out of the vehicle? Let us know if this works because this is starting to be a common question.
I doubt this works, but my work around would be shut off the car and leave. Then, use the remote start function twice. This way you’ll have 20 minutes of runtime.
I just bought the 2023 Honda CRV EX-L two days ago and I can't figure out how to use the radio. I want to preset my favorite radio channels on Sirius XM and FM. Where can I find this information? I'm only using one channel right now because that's all I know how to do.

Great info thanks! Is there a way to change the back up screen to get a full image? With the addition of the car sensor display, the back up view is real small in my 2023 Sport Touring.
in case you havent figured it out, when you put it in reverse you can select one of the icons below the image and select full screen for the back up camera. I agree, the sensor screen is way too large. It will remember whatever you select for the next time.

Im not sure of the exact range, but I have personally used it roughly 120 feet out easily on the dealership lot. I'm sure it could go further if nothing blocked it.
From what my dealer has said, a lot of it depends on your line of sight. My dealer claimed he could start the car from basically a quarter mile away (assuming he was on the upper floor of the dealership and unobstructed line of sight). Take that as you will, though.
Hello Chris, wondering if there is any way to turn off the shaking of the steering wheel during lane departure. It's super annoying lol. I don't mind the beep sound but the steering wheel shaking is not ideal.

Yes, that's normal. for some reason American Honda decided not to make that a standard feature on the EXL and Touring trim for this redesign, like last gen it was.
Just brought home our new 2024 CR-V EX-L. In my 2019 Odyssey, when I turn the car off it leaves the radio playing for about 10 minutes or if I open the driver's door (whichever comes first). In my new CR-V, when I turn the car off the radio goes off. I can turn it back on via accessory mode, but I've never had a car where the radio goes off and doesn't stay on for a time so you can finish listening to a song. Is there a setting somewhere on the new CR-V that allows the radio to keep playing uninterrupted when you turn the car off?
Did some research via Pilot and Ridgeline forums of owners with the same issue. Found that if you put the parking brake on and then turn the car off in neutral rather than park that the radio will stay on. Then when you want to get out you shift into park and the radio will go off.
Hi Chris, I own a 2023 crv ex-l. I have been trying to locate the TPMS calibration option both in my steering menu and 9” screen. What does it mean, if I do not have the “settings” menu on the steering wheel? Also, even I get into the vehicle setting on the 9” screen, there is no tpms calibration option available. I noticed when I did do the remote start the AC blows very low which is disappointing, when it’s 100 degrees I want that AC blowing hard when I remote start the engine so the cabin cools faster ?? There's an option to adjust the volume of the buzzers, turning signals and etc. I cover that within this video. I haven't had anyone share the experience of the blindspot shaking the vehicle. Maybe the lane departure or another sensing feature gone off at the same time.
Hoe do you go through a Drive Through McDonaldst with out your System BEEPING THE Whole time?? Not sure if their is a way to do it. Its like when you are to close when Parking next to a building?? Thank You
I'm reading this as if the parking sensors are going off while going through a drive through.. On the steering wheel you have a wheel scroll that you can push in to mute the sensors, which it will say on the driver's interface while it's going off.
My 2022 Honda Civic sport auto high beam problem came up says see dealer same with cruise control, lane keeping assist ,collision mitigation and road departure it says see your dealer for all of them can you help????

You can disable the walk away auto lock feature that you're mentioning. It's under door setup. Thank you so much for your support and kind words

The 2023 Honda CRV is not equipped with HomeLink. Even my dealer didn't know until I figured it out.

I haven't found ways to delete the save presets without saving over them. I'll make a video if anyone shares how to fully remove/delete a save preset.

Maybe the driver's attention monitor system will do the trick if you adjust the settings.

The Hybrid Models don't have a tachometer.

The video shows you how to reset your TPMS within the first 45 seconds if you have a 2023 or 2024 Honda CRV EXL from the American Honda market.
Once you make settings how do you clear menu?
You can select home on the top left of the touchscreen to get out of the menu

Unfortunately there's no way to adjust that. You can roll your windows down via fob before getting to the vehicle.
